Simon priced our house well, and it sold within a week to a quality buyer. They followed up with the sales process and were always happy to answer my questions about the progression. Our chain needed to exchange contracts on a certain date, and Andrew did an stellar job of chasing down quite a few loose ends to ensure we met our deadline. From start to finish, everything went smoothly to minimise the stress of a house sale. As far as we are concerned, the Charter Whyman team provide an exceptional service.

GoogleCharter Whyman dealt with both our sale and purchase. All the staff are friendly, helpful and very professional. We were particularly impressed with Simon at the valuation stage of selling our house. He was professional and didn’t give any pressurised sales pitch. Overall Charter Whyman helped us to move swiftly in a long chain and were ready to assist as required.

GoogleA really positive experience from start to finish. CW are very knowledgeable, professional and attentive. They are ready to be honest and realistic about valuations and when a change of approach might be required. They are very hands on, calling in most instances, which makes the whole process feel very personal. We are part way through our third transaction with them, both selling and buying, and can heartily recommend them.

GoogleWould highly recommend CW. There are so many agents to choose from now in Letchworth but the team and service we received for ourselves and our buyers was excellent. We had some issues with the first buyer through no fault of their own and the house was sold again within a week. The end to end service we received was professional, supportive and responsive. Thank you to all the team in Letchworth for helping us through the process.

GoogleAndrew drove the sale of our old property and the purchase of our new property. He was in constant liaison with the Solicitors from all three parties and without his assistance the move would definitely have been delayed - we moved on 24th March (1st day of UK lockdown) so any delay would have most likely caused the chain to collapse. The level of professionalism exhibited by every single member of the team we were in contact with far exceed our expectations, as did the overall service. Although I never want to move again, if I did I would not hesitate to use Charter Whyman.

GoogleI’m generally not keen on estate agents but I found Charter Whyman excellent on all sides. Our sale took 3days! The staff are professional and on the ball. We were constantly updated on progress, often daily when the lower part of our chain dropped out. They were always friendly and approachable, nothing was too much bother and they negotiated our sale and purchase with a passion I’ve not seen before in estate agents. We’ve found previous companies wanting on several occasions. I thoroughly recommend CW and would be happy to use them again. I don’t think you’ll find better in the town.

Google5 stars We were very impressed by how Charter Whyman handled our sale and purchase. Danny was in regular touch with us throughout the whole process of buying and selling. Matthew was very reassuring and reactive when we had concerns about some developments along the way. Simon did a great job of selling their service to us in the first place, with no high pressure sales exerted upon us. All in all, we trusted this company to guide us through the uncertain and sometimes worrying period that ensues when moving house. We would highly recommend them.
