I cannot recommend Andrew and the whole team at Charter Whyman enough . They are incredibly efficient , keep you updated constantly ( even when there are no real updates ! ) They go the extra mile and are possibly the friendliest bunch of people you will ever meet ! The Charter Whyman team have been absolutely fantastic in helping me sell my house, but also to secure an onward rental property. The communication has been second to none, keeping me updated and informed (even offering much needed advice in my potential onward purchase) throughout the process. My sale hit a little snag in regards to an indemnity issue, however Jonathan went above and beyond in ensuring the sale didn't fall through and keeping all parties calm and updated. Simon was very honest with his valuation of the property at the start of the process, which was greatly appreciated. We called in to the Pembroke office on the hope of chatting to someone regarding letting our property and within minutes Lleyton found time with us to discuss options but even better than that made time to meet us at our property the very next day as we had a tight schedule. We engaged Charter Whyman to sell our 2 bedroom flat in Letchworth, and could not have been more impressed with their service and professionalism. We dealt with Danny, Simon and Andrew, all of who were brilliant at keeping us updated throughout the process, liaising with all parties to ensure everything ran smoothly. Photos were taken and brochure prepared on the Monday by Simon, first viewing conducted by Danny on Tuesday, and we accepted an offer on Wednesday. The sale completed this week, around 9 weeks after accepting the offer. We had such a good experience buying a house through Charter Whyman 5 years ago that they were the obvious choice when we recently sold. The service has been outstanding. Our house sold promptly, in large part because Charter Whyman understand the local market and put together some great marketing materials. After we sold, Jonathan went out of his way time and time again to follow up across the chain on progress, and to keep us updated. When things stalled or hit an obstacle, Jonathan, Danny and the team came up with creative solutions to get things moving again, which was a massive weight off our shoulders. From the very first appointment of taking the original details of my house for sale Simon was 'on the ball'. He was respectful, professional and everything you would want from an Estate Agent. Danny took over once my house was listed and again from the 'Get Go' he was understanding, efficient, constantly chasing the whole chain for updates (it was a long complex chain). He was generally available but I only had to leave a message if he was out and he never failed to get back to me, even if he didn't have anything further to add. Right to the very last minute of completion he was 'ahead of the game' and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them for any potential moving requirements. After that, we mainly dealt with Andrew, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He kept me informed at every key stage, regularly calling to make sure I knew what was happening. He went above and beyond by chasing our lender’s surveyor and coordinating between our surveyor and the lender’s far more than I’d expect from an agent. His experience and knowledge of local properties were invaluable, especially when we hit a few hiccups along the way. As a first time buyer myself, I have to say that Charter Whyman was a credit to the industry. Having used many estate agents in our property search, Simon at CW came across as one of the most efficient and personable throughout our interactions, however, where he proved invaluable was through his local connection and ability to hold together a chain that often grew more complicated as time went on. Being in the middle of the chain, this was critical to us being kept informed and I have little doubt that if it wasn’t for this, and the interventions of Andrew at CW in the closing stages to get the exchange done, that we’d likely still be a few weeks away from being in our new home.
