After being let down by another local estate agent we went with Charter Whyman upon recommendation to sell our house and from the very outset they were professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring about the house selling process. We have met and spoken to many members of their team and everyone has been incredibly helpful and friendly regardless of whether or not they were directly involved in our sale. House selling is highly stressful but Charter Whyman went out of their way to make it as comfortable as possible. We would particularly like to mention the hard work of Magdalena who went above and beyond to help us and without whom we couldn't have made the completion date in the time we did. However much I would like to commend Charter Whyman on their sleek video and marketing expertise plus keeping me informed of any interest in the property, which is what they are paid to do? Unfortunately, the property must have been over valued to warrant 2 very substantial price drops over an 8 week period. When a buyer was eventually found they appeared to bend over backwards to accommodate his sometimes outrageous demands. Add to the mix Covid, the stamp duty fiasco and waiting for Probate following my husband's death, this 6 month venture into the property market has been the second most stressful and depressing period of my life.

I’m renting my house via Charter Whyman for almost two years now. Initially they were not too responsive which might’ve been caused by the fact that agents were changing frequently so no one really took issues in hand. This all changed when Trupti joined. Since then all problems or requests are handled quickly and efficiently. Great service from the whole team, both in alerting us to a property they thought we would like (we did!) and then selling our house, quickly, twice (first sale fell through during lockdown). CW were clear and straightforward about their pricing recommendations, and while we put our house on at a lower price than we had originally wanted, it sold very quickly both times. CW pride themselves in their ability to ‘make chains’ and this is exactly how it worked for us, as we bought and sold with them. This made life easier during the ups and downs of our own sale, as they had a good relationship with our vendor.
