The team at Chamberlains, provided professional, courteous and friendly service from beginning to end. We were kept informed at every stage with telephone and email updates. We had the property marketed by two other agents prior to instructing Chamberlains the level of service received from the other agents doesn’t come anywhere near the standard and the commitment given by Chamberlains. They will be our first choice next time we sell.

Initially, when approaching Chamberlains, I felt their valuation of my property to be somewhat ' over-imaginative' and I was proved right with subsequent little interest from prospective purchasers. Nevertheless, a few months later, when I offered the property back to Chamberlains, we agreed on a more realistic selling price and we sold within a week. I was, however, surprised to be offered the services of a nominated photographer who would charge me £50.00 for " professional photographs" of my property to be presented in the property brochure plus the ' Rightmove' entry. Nevertheless, Chamberlains did pay for the photos and all was well. Courteous and efficient office staff in a competitive area of work won the day.

The team at the Teignmouth Office were very helpful and professional They prepared a very good set of details for the brochure. . They had a number of buyers lined up for the property when it went on the market. Their work was so good that it sold on the first day of going on the market at a good price. I have no hesitation in recommending Chamberlains if you wish to sell your property.

Disappointed to say we didn't have the best experience selling our property with Chamberlains Teignmouth. Admittedly it wasn't the easiest property to sell but the Manager quickly wanted us to reduce the price after they'd set the initial marketing price, even though we were still getting offers. Felt quite pressurised into accepting offers that were very low (ie some 10/20k/25k below asking) & it did seem that they weren't acting in our best interest as their clients. It appeared they just wanted to get a sale regardless of best price for us as they were on a fixed minimum fee so therefore did not matter to them what price we achieved. Unfortunately the Manager always appeared negative about the property even though it did have various positives. about it. As we tried to hold out for a reasonable price the property was on the market for a year and during that time it was very stressful due to being bombarded with constant emails and phone calls going over the same ground. We found ourselves constantly repeating the same things to the Manager about the price we would accept.& other things and it did appear to be falling on deaf ears In the end the property sold after 13 months and we accepted a reasonable offer,, which was actually some 15k more than what they wanted us to settle on. It was only through us sticking to our guns that we got this. We got so fed up of it all we were about to take the property off the market but then this offer came along. On a positive note, the agents were easily contactable and did try to be helpful and in the end they did sell it for us albeit it at a high fixed commission fee!

Chamberlains were professional personable and prompt. Helen in particular was very personable and the main reason why we chose this agent to market our house. They achieved a very good price for us and in a short timescale allowing us to move on with our plans. James and the team were a real pleasure to deal with, especially as they had to communicate with me in Australia as liaison for my elderly parents selling their house in Devon. James achieved a good balance between representing our interests fairly and maintaining buyer interest. The whole process from valuation (spot on, unlike other valuations), marketing, viewings and negotiating the sale was managed clearly and attentively. I would very happily recommend James and the team to anyone looking to buy or sell their property.

We recently sold a property through Chamberlains, Teignmouth and received excellent service from Helen Potts and her team. From day 1 Helen was very professional and kept us informed of any developments right the way through. The buyers legal people dragged their feet at times but Helen was able to use exactly the right tone to move things along quickly. Any query we raised was dealt with promptly and professionally. We felt completely comfortable that we had the right person handling the sale of our property. Our own solicitors of over 40 years commented on how efficient Helen Potts was. Would highly recommend Chamberlains, Teignmouth.

The service we had from Chamberlains was fantastic I can't praise them highly enough! Especially Scarlett who was ahead of the game all the way nothing was too much to ask her to do! She was as passionate as we were about the move! She always gave us good advice and always had our interests at heart! This was all through a very difficult time for selling! I cannot thank them enough and would definitely recommend them!

We visited several properties in Teignmouth and Bishopsteignton with Alex. The visits were all planned well making it easy for us. Of all the agents that we saw, Alex was by far the most enthusiastic and helpful. He did a good job selling the positive points of each property, but was also candid and honest about any downsides. A real pleasure to work with. Helen also provided good assistance and follow up for the viewings.

Had pretty much decided upon buying the property before I'd seen it and so was very eager to wrap-up the whole deal. Couldn't have asked for a speedier negotiation and we agreed on a price the same day. Laura was very professional and kept both sides updated despite my useless solicitors dragging their feet. I would have no doubts about dealing with Chamberlains again should I wish to sell or purchase a property through them in the future.

Always gave viewing feedback on the same day ( via email as my preference) Kept in touch with marketing. We have dealt with various agents over the years and not once have I had to chase Chamberlains for anything they are always one step ahead. All viewings accompanied by friendly staff. Not once were we asked to do any viewings ourselves - as some agents do.
