From start to finish Helen was always at the end of the phone with updates, negotiations and indeed any situations that arose. Disappointed to say we didn't have the best experience selling our property with Chamberlains Teignmouth. Admittedly it wasn't the easiest property to sell but the Manager quickly wanted us to reduce the price after they'd set the initial marketing price, even though we were still getting offers. Felt quite pressurised into accepting offers that were very low (ie some 10/20k/25k below asking) & it did seem that they weren't acting in our best interest as their clients. It appeared they just wanted to get a sale regardless of best price for us as they were on a fixed minimum fee so therefore did not matter to them what price we achieved. Unfortunately the Manager always appeared negative about the property even though it did have various positives. about it. As we tried to hold out for a reasonable price the property was on the market for a year and during that time it was very stressful due to being bombarded with constant emails and phone calls going over the same ground. We found ourselves constantly repeating the same things to the Manager about the price we would accept.& other things and it did appear to be falling on deaf ears In the end the property sold after 13 months and we accepted a reasonable offer,, which was actually some 15k more than what they wanted us to settle on. It was only through us sticking to our guns that we got this. We got so fed up of it all we were about to take the property off the market but then this offer came along. On a positive note, the agents were easily contactable and did try to be helpful and in the end they did sell it for us albeit it at a high fixed commission fee!

Chamberlains were professional personable and prompt. Helen in particular was very personable and the main reason why we chose this agent to market our house. They achieved a very good price for us and in a short timescale allowing us to move on with our plans. The marketing of the property was excellent and the professional photos really helped to sell the house. Thankyou to Helen and the team I would not hesitate in using them again. thankyou

James and the team were a real pleasure to deal with, especially as they had to communicate with me in Australia as liaison for my elderly parents selling their house in Devon. James achieved a good balance between representing our interests fairly and maintaining buyer interest. The whole process from valuation (spot on, unlike other valuations), marketing, viewings and negotiating the sale was managed clearly and attentively. I would very happily recommend James and the team to anyone looking to buy or sell their property.

We recently sold a property through Chamberlains, Teignmouth and received excellent service from Helen Potts and her team. From day 1 Helen was very professional and kept us informed of any developments right the way through. The buyers legal people dragged their feet at times but Helen was able to use exactly the right tone to move things along quickly. Any query we raised was dealt with promptly and professionally. We felt completely comfortable that we had the right person handling the sale of our property. Our own solicitors of over 40 years commented on how efficient Helen Potts was. Would highly recommend Chamberlains, Teignmouth.

The service we had from Chamberlains was fantastic I can't praise them highly enough! Especially Scarlett who was ahead of the game all the way nothing was too much to ask her to do! She was as passionate as we were about the move! She always gave us good advice and always had our interests at heart! This was all through a very difficult time for selling! Always gave viewing feedback on the same day ( via email as my preference) Kept in touch with marketing. We have dealt with various agents over the years and not once have I had to chase Chamberlains for anything they are always one step ahead. All viewings accompanied by friendly staff. Not once were we asked to do any viewings ourselves - as some agents do.

From the very first meeting with Helen the manager, I knew this was going to be the best estate agent to sell my property. When I requested a valuation on my property, she arrived with lots of informative facts regarding the current housing market and current prices. Nothing proved to be a hurdle, and she was so helpful throughout the whole process, She was concise, courteous, and professional at all times. Mails would arrive outside of normal working hours, she was totally committed to sell my property, and her passion for her job is endless, which in turn cascades down to all the staff who work with her. Michelle and the team @ Chamberleigns have been fantastic since day one. Putting our property up for sale was quick and easy, the photos were of high quality and we felt they represented the property well. Chamberleigns are hot with marketing, using modern ways to market your property to ensure the highest possible visibility to potential buyers, and they even notify you every time they advertise on a different platform! Michelle was always in contact with us, even through the quiet times, keeping us up to date with the market behaviour and keeping our property advert up to date and appealing. What we loved most was how much care Michelle showed towards us, and how nothing we asked for was too much. Thanks again for everything.

I would recommend Chamberlains as a very good estate agent. Allcommunications are clear and messages do get oassed on efficiently. We almost sold last year but sale fell through. This time we have sold but it has taken over 3 months and largely down to our excellent solicitor and Laura at Chamberlains Newton Abbot. She chased all the relevant parties to secure the sale and earned the company it's fee. I just hope she got a good commission, she deserves a bonus! Not all the sales team were so helpful.
