Andrew at Bidwells was the point of contact for our house purchase in Great Shelford. It was a big move for us, uprooting our young family from London and moving back to Cambridgeshire. I was selling our family home after my mother passed away and had 3 estate agents visit to pitch for the business. Robert Couch came to discuss options and pricing, and presented us with the a selection of material for similar properties with sale prices to justify the valuation. It wasn't the highest valuation, and they didn't offer the cheapest fees. We went with Robert because we felt we'd get the most personalised service. Also, we had to have a high level of trust given we weren't local and couldn't monitor things closely. They were very patient with our changes to the marketing material and despite hitting lockdown #1 just as we were to about to go live, kept in contact regularly to make sure we were all ready to go move quickly once the lockdown ended. As soon as viewings could start, potential buyers were ready to go. We were kept well informed on progress and within a few weeks of the first viewing it had gone to sealed bids. The final steps taking us through to completion were equally efficient. Robert acted with integrity throughout and achieved the best result possible.

<15min key handover. & super service by Matt who personally handled an emergency key issue. we were locked out after 15 mins of checking in. i reached out to matt and he personally drove me back and forth 2 times and organised help to solve the issue. Hats off Matt Kirkland

We have associated with Bidwells for several decades.The house fell vacant in winter but MelJavis and Matt Kirkland were amazing and they quickly rallied round found new tenants and with all the repairs snd upkeep had the house ready for the new tenants who have now moved in.I would not trade Bidwells for another company with such dedicated people as Mel and Matt. I've continually had bad experiences with estate agents, so am very wary when I deal with them. However I could not be more impressed with Bidwells. And that says something. Friendly, calm, extremely polite, genuinely helpful, not pushy.... my move was seamless, I've never known anything like it. Would recommend them 100%.

I have read all previous reviews and found my experience to be very different. It’s a shame that a very few negative experiences can adversely skew perception when those who are happy with the service don’t feel the need to review. I have used Bidwells to manage the set up and end of tenancy for my properties for 20 years. They have always been professional, efficient and friendly. They are happy to give me professional advice between lets should I need it,which is beyond what they need to do.
