GoogleJust when I was about to give up looking for a suitable flat to buy in Cambridge after spending the last 6 months searching, I was lucky enough to talk to Sophie Taylor at Bidwells. She suggested the exact flat and location that I would like, and worked diligently to get a great deal for both myself and the vendor. From first talking to Bidwells and Sophie to getting an offer accepted took less than a week. On market knowledge, willingness to go the extra mile, and demonstrably keen to close the deal, these estate agents are head and shoulders above the competition. Highly recommended.

Wishing I could give 0 stars. This company helped sell Flagship private homes. The representative for Bidwells has conducted themselves appallingly. They LIED to us continuously about basic things for a brand new build house such as;-where the stop clock was-the private gated community access codes being given to royal mail -the private gate being hooked up to our mobiles to notify us when -somebody was ringing our numbered houseALL OF THESE THINGS - they LIED about. It was factually wrong. Not only were they outright lieing to us, we were then (when confronted with these issues) met with sarcasm and outright rudeness.. When I explained how unhelpful they had been and that I was filing an official complaint, this particular representative words were 'yep okay you do that'.This was how my husband and I were treated AFTER moving into a house that you could not even wash in as the sinks and showers were ALL leaking. You would think after Bidwells actually being caught out lieing to us they would then try to do everything they possibly could to help us - as they were actually at fault for giving us false information. But in fact they didn't. If these are your estate agents for the property you are purchasing, do not TRUST them, and if you can DO NOT USE THEM. They WlLL let you down.

GoogleInsipid, will try to screw you over in order to maximise their revenue. This includes not fitting appropriate fire alarm systems or dealing with repairs in a proper manner. Sending cheap workmen that do poor quality jobs that subsequently aren't fit for purpose. Not chasing or dealing with tradesmen - they just passed me the details to deal with them, completely ignoring their job. After sending a workman to repair the boiler, we had a CO2 leak - which my own alarm picked up. They subsequently sent someone with an actual license to deal with it who made comment on the poor job previously.

GoogleRented our property in Cambridge through Bidwells, the whole process went smoothly and as much as one should expect from a top agency. The real service came through the property management which was also through Bidwells. We dealt with a top property manager who was attentive to any issues (big and small) and incredibly professional at all times. Dealing in property myself i know how challenging property management can be. On this occasion they didn't put a foot wrong and made our tenancy far better than expected. Keep it up.

If your not informed you will pay extra fees. Subtle letter to say that you can sign for a lease extension for a fee, yet you can go to statutory for free. Exit asked for steam cleaning, contract just says clean carpets. Letter says to use preferred cleaners or we will claw money back if not to standard. Have been tenant for a few years, Several visits to repair (4 times for same fault) - they don't care,( 3 quotes on price). We will be spending about 1K to leave the property in fees and cleaning costs (beware!). Only made aware of some of these after signing the initial holding contract, when the full contract came we questioned and were told we were bound now. Very sharp practice, not to recommend.
