Hopwood Meadows is situated in a highly desirable location. With a great entrance, and scenery around the estate. Offering a selection of high quality homes in the area. The 5 bedroom Hawthorne is the largest executive home, offering all the space and they are competitively priced compared to others if you can afford the premium. This house type is minimal on phase 1, compared to the 3/4 bedrooms. They will offer more on phase 2, but prices are expected to rise. But I feel Bellway are still competitive, offering design and quality in the south heywood area. Neil/Gabby were very professional and approachable. I enquired in 2023 before any homes was built, and Neil went above and beyond answering all queries off plan. Kieran and the site management team are fantastic, everyone kept me up to date during build stage leading onto getting the keys. I would personally recommend the Hawthorne on Hopwood Meadows if you are looking to spend £510k+ on a 5 bedroom new home, compared to other developers with higher prices on a 4 bed.

Very helpful service, easy and efficient move into the property. Site managers Jason and kieran always on hand to help. They both gave us courtesy calls every other week to check everything is ok. Any questions are always answered. Brilliant service.

Been really happy with our overall experience with Bellway, from start to finish. Scott and Gabby (also Neil previously) have been great to deal with and really helpful. Building on greenland should be discouraged. The poor wildlife and animals who suffered because of your company. Calling it a 'meadow' when it was actual meadow for wildlife. Now it's a housing estate. Disgusting.

People need to be aware that there are plans for a massive expansion of industrial units just north of the area, across the nearby M62, just past Simister Island. These plans (available on line) were recently announced by Bury and Rochdale councils, as much of the land considered for development is currently green belt, as, I'm pretty sure, was the land these current properties are being built on. Also the area is ill served by public transport (be aware of this), the only bus to the immediate area is the infrequent, recently reinstated after being stopped, 125 which only runs between Heywood and nearby Middleton. I drove past the area today, I must admit the houses look impressive, reasonably priced for the area. If I were moving, I'd consider buying one. At least you've two pubs, the Gardeners and White Hart, nearby.
