A lovely home completely ruined by shockingly bad after sales customer service. Literally YEARS of fighting to get snagging issues rectified! Phone calls and emails ignored. They will try every trick in the book to get out of fixing problems. Over 2 years of stress and not so much as an apology from them. Once they have your money they really couldn’t care less!

Me and my partner just reserved our home in stockton (summerville). We booked an appointment for the early afternoon but unfortunately due to work commitments we were late, however Vicki who waited an extra 45 minutes for us to arrive which was nice as we were desperate to view the property, she was very polite and informative when it came to the property and explained in detail the process, the plans, when the work would be finished, explained if there was any issues to let her know, reassured us if any problems who to contact regarding if any issues were found or if we were not happy, so far a very welcoming and informative process for what for a lot of people when buying their first home can be a daunting time in buying their first home

What an absolute shower of a company

What an absolute shower of a company, our new house was flooded due to avants shoddy contractors putting a wrong part on the mains water - then they've left us 7 months without rectifying. Customer service ignore you, liaison officers complete muppets that talk the talk but carry no clout at all. Do not buy from these cowboys - seriously!!!! Looking like Christmas in a shack as they're still not helping us, only been in 18 months and 7 of those spent living like a refugee because avant just ignore. Please take note people

Great Sales experience but poor after care

Unfortunately our experience with customer care following moving in has overshadowed the excellent service provided by Louise in Sales at Radford's Meadows, along with site managers Mark, Steve, Brett and Matt. They are genuinely lovely people who have gone above and beyond to help us settle into our home, and resolve what issues they can.However, we have reported over 20 snags since moving in. Every single one has gone beyond the 30 days to be resolved stipulated by the NHQB with no explanation. We still have around 10 snags to resolve which are also beyond 30 days. I have made a complaint to Avant on 18/09/24 due to lack of communication from customer care, unresolved snags, and the ongoing stress and impact this has had on myself and my family, and have had a pathway to resolution (also outside the time frame stated on the website) but no full response to this, with no explanation as to why. Despite it stating on the Avant website I should've have had a full response and resolution within 30 days.

I would like to dedicate my 5-STAR review to Patricia and Louise at Cotchett Park, I wish there is a Million Star rating to give them, whichever I say or write won't be enough to highly praise these 2 amazing ladies. Starting from my phone call with Louise with her most welcoming tone, taking the time to explain on the phone and her kind invitation to visit the estate, look around and consider my options to when I first walked into the office and the first thing I saw was the beautiful, warm and most welcoming smile of Patricia.Both Patricia and Louise were most fantastic and amazing this afternoon, they took the time and made massive efforts to explain everything to me in detail with all the kindness and patience of the world, because as a first time buyer I didn't have a clue of anything and didn't know anything about the process. But Patricia and Louise made my experience fantastic, explained everything and listened very carefully to me and considered all what I told them about my requirements for my home and my circumstances. Patricia made massive efforts showing us around the estate and houses. She was extremely kind and helpful and never made us felt rushed, on the contrary she was going out with us in the rain showing us around the houses with her beautiful smile and kept telling us to take our time and don't rush.I managed to reserve a wonderful Avant Homes house this afternoon with Louise and Patricia's help and started the purchase process.Louise made massive efforts explaining every single detail and sorting the documents and paperwork. She kindly introduced us to the mortgage advisor and soliciter, and made the process much easier.I highly recommend Louise and Patricia from Avant Homes at Cotchett Park, if you would like a fantastic experience and a wonderful home.
