Laura at Princess Point, what a great Sales advisor.!!!!You picked up the pieces from where others left and proved yourself, very friendly, welcoming and professional, you represent Avant to greater levels, you made the whole process very easy for us new in the game to keep up. Thank you very much for your support.Avant as a reputable organisation must remove the offer to the Military personnel on their website. I didn't get the offer as stated... Its not straight forward as I was told despite Laura and Jeanette contacting the sales team at the head office, I was told the house (Thirston) had a discounted offer already which wasn't explained to me and I was told I wasn't entitled .. To be very honest I went to Avant partly because of the Military discount as well as the quality of the project.Surely Avant can do better....

Excellent SpecI work within construction and have worked with most of the 'top 10' builders and avant spec is superior to any other builder. I reserved my home in February with an intended completion of April, unfortunately lockdown put an end to that however i was kept informed of progress by Kelly, Olivia & Jeanette @ City Quarter, Wakefield. Reservation was on the weekend the showhomes opened so i was fortunate enough to choose from pretty much any plot but having spoken to the mortgage advisor i settled on a Seabridge. Valuation took some time so the process seemed never ending, i eventually took ownership in October. As with any manmade product built in all conditions some issues have been reported and are well on the way with been sorted with Rob and the site team on the ball, the whole process has been relatively straighforward (minus lockdown anyway!) I'll certainly be recommending to anyone looking for a new home in Wakefield (WHich is currently very very competitive)

Today we went to the Avant Homes Princes Gate development in Pontefract to discuss our options for our new home, me and my partner were greeted by James Setters one of of the sales advisors for Princes Gate, Right away he made us feel at ‘Home’ he went through everything in thorough detail! We both had a long list of questions and by the time we were finished he had answered every single one Very knowledgeable, who knew there was so much to know about a house... James knew it all, Friendly,Genuine nice guy Would highly recommend Avant and dealing with him (Yorkshire) Look forward to finalising all spec for our new home ! Thanks James

Since the re org customer service at purbeck village is shocking! I viewed the house back in October where we we’re promised the house would be ready by mid November thought fantastic be in before Christmas, we’ve then had everything go through and I try get hold avant to find out a rough estimate for completion after being told it will be November which is one of the reasons we decided to buy with avant! So I try call the number for avant no answer it then goes through to the office well who ever works there really needs an attitude check they are so rude! Considering we are buying a house from you and I’ve asked someone to call me back 3 times in a week and heard nothing which then I had to drive myself to the sales office just to speak to someone about a date for me to find out when house is ready which I then get told 3 different dates. So it started with mid November then it was 11th dec then 18th and now apparently 23rd December who wants to move into a house a day before Christmas Eve when I have taken time off work start of December to move into as apparently the house was ready in November so how I have 3 weeks off work and no house date on when the house will be ready. When speaking to avant I asked what stage the house was at and they said paint stage then went through a few more steps until carpets are put down and ready for sign off but when I said the carpets have been put down she then said oh you know more than me then oh great I’m buying a house from you but the customer knows more than the employee that works there it’s just laughable now all I want to know is when my house will be ready and not 2 days before Christmas considering avant said November!

Their Moto is "live differently"We moved in our new home on the collinsgate site, Coalville.On the day we moved in the house had not been cleaned properly, we thought this is a poor start as the house is supposed to be inspected by 3 different people. We have found various of faults with the house ranging from the main bath needed to be replaced ( this took 3 attempts) the stair newel post is 10mm out of level and still needs to be resolved. Alot of glass in the windows was scratched, now replaced. The garden wall had to be partly taken down and rebuilt due the the wall being out of level and the top coping not level with each other. The door bell which we upgraded still isn't working, we have been move in for 9 months. Kitchen wall units are twisted, they have been out twice to fix these and they have failed on both occasions. Customer service I don't find helpful, I told them the radiator in our relax area was too small, it took 2 different plumbers to agree. They have built a stone wall for our boundary but it's that close to the house you can't walk through the gap. These are just a few examples of the poor workmanship and lack of attention to detail. Avant homes have had 6 months to put our house in the state it should have been when we moved in, we are still waiting for work to be finished so like Avant say "live differently", . You pay a lot of money for these houses,simply not worth it

So happy to be in our beautiful new home. Even with COVID-19 making day to day lives almost a nightmare, moving into our new home during lockdown has helped cushion the blow. The Avant Team have helped us every step of the way, from chosing our plot, to the little extras of our door handles. The development we live on is very easy on the eye, great designs and houses built to a high standard, with only very little to add to our snagging list. We had an issue with our front door, it was not locking easily, after the house had settled. We contacted the Customer Service Team and reported the issue and the joiner was out within a couple of days and rectified the problem.The Site Team have always been very helpful and friendly and offered advice and assistance, where needed. Thank you Avant Homes for making our dream home a reality.

Balfour Park Plot 221 Love our new Avant house. The buying process was made as easy as possible during the Pandemic which made things difficult for everyone. There was no pressure to complete as they knew we were having issues with our buyer. We worked together to finally get into the house albeit 5 months later than planned. Nobody's fault. Good communication with Customer Care who try to make things happen and very approachable and listen to us. Only thing we have issues with are our bi-fold doors and attempts have been made to rectify this but all to no avail so far. They are the only thing that lets the house down from being perfect.Very high end finish.

We have been in our home for almost a year now and have had only very minor issues. Far less than expected and Avant customer services have been great at ensuring these have been dealt with. Some items took a little longer than expected due to covid but with this in mind, the level of service has been excellent.Our home is attractive, warm and very modern which is exactly what we wanted in a new property.

I have bought my first home with Avant and I was really nervous about the whole thing. Avant have been fabulous, they have been in contact with me weekly both before and after exchange of contracts. They have been honest about any delays and any issues were sorted out immediately. Even during both national lockdowns, we were kept fully in the loop. Avant have been great support and got excited with me when the weekly build updates were given. I did email alot about the progress as I wanted lots of information (because I was excited) and they were patient and supportive for me. Really made the whole thing so stressfree during a stressful year!

This is the second home we have purchased through Avant Homes. Our second home is at De Rhodes Point in Chesterfield, our first was at The Edge in Clowne. We have had outstanding experiences both times using Avant Homes. From reservation to completion, we found buying with Avant Homes very easy and stress free. Our completion should have been during the first UK lockdown, in which we delayed due to our own personal circumstances, and Avant Homes were amazing to say the least! Upon completion, any issue's around snagging were resolved quickly and professionally, and all staff along our journey from sales to construction were all extremely friendly and helpful.We would highly recommend this house builder to all of our family and friends looking to purchase a new home. We did search and view all available developments in and around the Chesterfield area when we were looking to purchase this time around, but Avant Homes specification is second to non, we love our Avant House. This is our 'forever home'!

I moved into a lorton on klypper village mansfield in march of this year the show home we viewed was stunning and to be honest could not be further from what we have received!! .We have had issue after issue and currently stand at 72 snags we are now in november and have had hardly anything rectified what we have had done has been very sub standard we keep getting excuses from the customer service team that quite frankly are really starting to wind me up nowWe have windows that will not shut , had hardly any water pressure for 3 months the shower broke the back garden resembles a dump ( my grandson found brick ties sticking up from the so called turf ) If you think that my house is " just a bad one " then please feel free ro walk around this estate and talk to the all the residents here Avant homes are poorly built by sub contractors that are either under paid and rushing or they are just not up to the job Walk around the show homes and admire how stunning the are but i would never never buy from these cowboys ever again

I reserved a plot on the De Rhodes site back in October and so far I have had a very positive experience. I visited another site to see a show home of the house I saw and found the sales person at this site to be friendly and welcoming as well as helpful.I then went to the site and dealt with a lady call Cath who I reserved my plot with. Cath was very knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming and was a pleasure to deal with. She made me feel like my purchase was important and that she cared not only about my purchase but also making sure it was the right plot for me. Since then I was contacted by a lady called Jenny Bennett who has taken over the management of my sale. She called to introduce herself and also to ensure I had all I needed and then emailed to make sure I have her contact details.I have called a couple of times for various bits and bobs and she has always been very helpful and always got whatever I needed done with a very quick turnaround. I am feeling comfortable and excited for the rest of my purchase journey.

Absolutely fantastic service from beginning to finish. What started off as a simple browse of the show home to determine if we were looking to move to the area quickly moved to seriously considering one of the Ashbury homes with full support from Barbara Straiton. I can not fault Barbara’s service at all she is not only friendly but she is knowledgable, approachable and was constantly there for support during the process. We also had assistance from Louise throughout appointments and again, she was excellent. You often hear horror stories about purchasing a brand new build but Barbara put our mind at ease and I can say we are in our new home and it’s great. Neighbours are lovely and it is the best decision we made. There was a few snags upon moving in but Avant were quick to sort them. Thanks to Barbara, Louise and Alex, the site manager. Also shoutout to Scott the painter - he is lovely!! :) - Jess and Joe

To buy a house firstly you need to see it and find it. We had an appointment on Sunday 15/11 at Ten Locks Park at 1pm, I put the post code in to my sat nav the post code does not exist, got over to Foxton Locks no signs called the number no reply no wonder you have so many homes not sold having to put offers on them, it wont matter if you cant find the development. Oh and no call to ask where I was or needed any help

They provided us with regular updates and reassurance.Our experience with avant has been fab! I would highly recommend Avant homes, they are built to a high standards and the spec is unreal. I’m still finding little appliances I didn’t know we had.
