Sell you a property and then don't sort the issues, and believe me, there will be plenty! Whoever supposedly signs off on these properties must be doing so with their eyes closed. As for customer care, it's a figment of my imagination. Completed on my place Feb 2022 (after delays on the build). Was promised the earth and great after care, what a load of rubbish. They don't answer calls or emails. The most unresponsive company I've ever come across. All down hill since ex-persimmon boss bought Avant. Do yourself a favor, take your money elsewhere and save the headache and stress, they do not care once they have your money! You'll thank yourself for it. As for all the positive reviews on here....questionable. Just go ahead and look up all the facebook groups on Avant and get a TRUE feel for what's really going on with this developer, or search the news articles of home owners putting up large banners slating Avant homes after their experience and unwillingness to rectify issues from what is poor build quality.

dont waste ur money, trust me put ur money into rubbish bin but dont waste it with avant homes, once they got ur money with the deal they would never look after to ur home, ur roads and the whole state !! they're just a group of thieves and rubbish company. this is over 2 years i got a new house of them in the new estate and still the roads are full of holes, everywhere our new cars all are became a scrap ones becaouse thier quality , they come every 2 months and work few hours and digging somewhere and again lots of dirts and blocking the roads and for nothing. people just avoid this useless company

Avant Homes falls massively short of expectations as promised.we bought a family homes here in scotland and have been left with a mess of small and big problems.avant came out to fix some of them and the end finish is poorly and worst in some areas.the most recent one being our slabbing front and rear,mainly the rear is dipping down and now its looks like a rocky road trip hazard after only being in the house for 1 year 1 month.2 newest problem is the bi fold doors are whistling which is driving us all crazy.they have moved off the brickwork and avant homes is blaming us for mishandling the doors,we have only had them opened twice during last summer.we have water ingress on the ceiling corner of the rooms which we have been advsed there is a plumbing issue between the ceiling and floor.the list goes on and on...too many chips and scratches in the house to be happy with the build.avant are failing to come out and fix the problems.At best we get emails back ust after 30 days but still no one is committed to come out and look at the problems,its the same old email from avant back and fourth usually we are talking a 50 day waiting time in between contact with avant.months has been wasted in this process and we are in fear now of being ignored.

From my experience if i could award avant homes zero stars i would.they dont deserve any stars what so ever.the design the houses and that's about it.avant do not build the houses.then avant refusal to help fix problems.zero star company thats being ran into ground.

biggest regret i have made is the biggest purchase in my life,why did i choose avant homes :(sheer stressavant does not will not answer emails properlyi am a mother of 2 children i work hard,i managed to secure the avant house and its non stop problems with it. could not be more sad in this house with the worries.

The houses for spacious and well equipped. Advant homes has also considered the needs of the disabled and people going on for later stages of life.Cath was very helpful and informative nothing was to much trouble for her to explain. I would definitely be advant homes

We purchased a house from Avant, they changed the spec without telling us half way through.Lots of faults with the house and the repairs are very bad.Customer service is poor. Would not recommend

Just bought a house at Summerville quarter in Stockton. Cannot fault the process from beginning to end. Excellent service from Angela in sales, who supported us and kept in regular contact throughout. As expected a few snags in the house, however overall an excellent high standard of finish. All snags resolved without issue in an efficient manner. Site managers Bill and Graham have been brilliant. They are accessible and approachable, and nothing has been too much trouble.Contacted customer service on a Sunday as a back door key broke in the lock, and within two hours someone was sent to the property and issue was resolved. A really positive experience and would highly recommend! 5 ⭐️

Very bad customer service, you need customer service ina new build property because there will always be snags in a new build,so when avant don't deliver this and have already taken you monies then your left in a rut of mess.avant do not want to fork out more money to get trades back out to fix what should have been built correctly in first place.We have had nothing but agony from avant homes tbh.They will fob you off and ignore you for any most work you need done.the moment you become formal about any work or complaints they will blacklist you and pass you onto nhbc,i have been chatting to a handful of avant customers on the facebook page,we all share the same story.and YES THE AVANT HOMES 5 STAR REVIEWS ARE FAKED.I Can only hope new customers looking to uy into avant will see these reviews and think twice before buying with avant,they show off a very promising house and sales pitch but its all a shambles from avant.

We wanted to take the take the time to thank Laura & Georgia for our Reservation process so far at the Tornley Quarter development. Making such a big purchase is daunting. However, Laura started off our service excellently without the unnecessary pressure. She talked us through everything to ensure we were comfortable & has taken the time to support us throughout. Georgia, who we had our choices appointment with was absolutely lovely and really understood that making these decisions would take time, so had a lot patience for us, which we really appreciate. Thank you so much both of you for the experience we have had so far! fingers crossed everything else goes well for us to be able to complete in June.

We reserved our house in September 2021. We had no intention of buying the house but the sales advisor was so good at answering all our questions and putting us at ease we took the plunge. The sales team couldn’t do enough for us or be more helpful. Until we exchanged. Build updates were always basic and often inaccurate. We were due to complete in June 2022. We were pushed from June to July to August to September to October then December and January. It was extremely stressful considering the new mortgage rates. Our mortgage was due to expire 07/02/23 and Avant let us complete 06/02/23. Our house wasn’t quite complete but we were luckily in a position to wait a little longer to move. (We moved 09.02.23). Zehra at head office was always the most helpful with pushing things or getting us answers. Since we moved in the site team have been fantastic. Site managers (Tom and Steve) often knocked when we first moved in to ask how we were getting on and if we needed anything. They still stop if they see us on the front and will ask if we need anything and act on it when we do. Site team are just really friendly and helpful too. Like taking rubbish away for us when we had no bins or cardboard away when we recently build the shed. We paid a professional snagger and he was impressed with the standard of the house and said we had less snags then he would expect. Snags have all been addressed promptly.The delays were beyond stressful but we love our house and would do it all again.

We have been waiting 9 months to rework velux windows that were installed incorrectly as they were not installed by a trained velux technician (incorrect installation confirmed by velux themselves when I consulted them). Scaffold has been up in garden for 6 months making garden unusable and still no date provided for the work by approved contractor despite many unanswered emails, phonecalls being messy outside site manager office etc many times over the months. Following this I raised a formal complaint though their formal complaint process 3 months ago and still no date and given the silent treatment constantly. When I can get hold of them they lie and blame the contractor etc but it's Avant dragging their heels by not paying the contractor. This is not too mention the many snags I'm just accepting because it's just too difficult.Come on Avant you can do better!

My Boiler could have been in a full warranty if Avant & the subcontrator had registered with the Boiler manufacturer within 30 days of boiler installation (manufacturer recommends this to avail full 7 yrs of warranty period). I bought the house 6 months post installation and Avant northeast customer service says its the home owner responsibility. They failed to do a procedure and do not own to the mistake instead keep giving excuses like Home Owner responsibility (which is invalid reason).

It seems my review was FLAGGED by someone, that took offence to myself pointing out the undershandedness of this company. Be aware a lot of the positive ratings on here are MAYBE are not as they seem. Someone giving Avant a 5 star rating because they kept dry in a sales house,when their car broke down, does not show the damage this company has done to 1000’s of home owners. They ignore shoddy workmanship -We had gas leaks ! (Gas engineer turned up 4 days later) Carbon leaks !( several of estate/flues not connect if loft space) All Flag stones teetering ! (Getting worse)Bi folding doors collapsed !(no help given&supplier refused help, £8000 to replace,after 2.5 years)Front door incorrect4 windows broken down(in 2.5 years) Marked glazing ! (Avant ignored)Extension leaked ! (Avant ignored) Plumbing leaksBath & shower leaksHorrendous lawn levels Lawns flooding ! (6 years & getting worse)Wind blowing through the house !(never repaired,getting worse) Trickle vent siliconed shutAll floors & stairs creakingHouse built lower than lawn heights & ramp down to the houseUsed our land to reduce heights either side casing visual & floodingTerrible walls & ceilingsPlumbing Joints hanging out of walls(half plastered over) Hollows under floor tiling( tiles are cracking) Cheaply made but pretty door furniture(breaking down after 3 years)Cheap carpetsIncorrect BTU calculations on radiators sizing( tiny radiators for huge open areas/ resulting cold rooms) Massive heat loss (missing insulation found) Wind blowing through sockets on walls(Avant ignored) We asked the area manager to come stay in our house & we would stay in a hotel for the weekend, just to show how cold & windy it was,internally. He laughed & belittled us. Not just a few snags ! Some of our residents & the nearest estates to us had 200/300 on each house. People have been left high & dry after the 2 year get out clause,with horrendously expensive corrections & replacements.1.Quality control & inspected work is missed massively. 2.Design brilliant3.Customer services/after care horrendous AVANT HAVE A MASSIVE BACK LOG OF UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS, that they still ignore. SORRY CANT HELP SNAGGING & problems are not tended to.PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS COMPANYwhen they were bett homes they were on Tv for exactly the same scandalous issues. If they ignore you,you will go away !Customer’s expectations are to much ! Sorry Avant,unhappy customers do not go away ( it is peoples life savings,your taking) & you are adding to that list week on week.

Two and a half years in our house and we still have major issues outstanding. Multiple complaints made to the ever growing list of customer service managers they burn through and I'm still having to constantly chase everything regularly. It's incredibly stressful and has basically ruined the house for us. It doesn't feel like a home. There is one thing that Avant and its many, many 'Directors' and senior management are good at and that is ignoring you. They simply do not respond to your requests for updates to outstanding issues, most likely hoping that you will give up and sort it yourself. Avant have very noticeably deteriorated in the last 24 months. The trades that have came to the house to fix defects have even stated that you wouldn't want to buy a house from them now as the quality is so poor and nobody on the site really knows what they are doing. I honestly cannot wait until Avant finish dealing with my remaining issues because it will feel like I've just been freed from a custodial sentence.I would never buy a house from Avant again, ever, not even if it was free.

Customer service doesn’t exist. The completion dates aren’t true. They guarantee the houses are going to be ready knowing that they aren’t going to be done and putting people in trouble. Because of them the dream of having a family house became a nightmare. We are homeless now because of them. I wish l would have bought a house elsewhere. Save your time, stress, money and dignity and don’t consider Avant!
