I have just recently purchased at Avant homes Monkswood Priorslee.The quality of the home and the level of customer services provided by Dave and Ian was superb and Keana kept me up to date all the way.Snagging was very minimal and Dave went above and beyond to ensure they were completed promptly and to a good standard. I would definatly recommend them.

My wife and I recently visited the Avant Homes development in Jackton Green to view one of the showhomes there. The staff were fantastic with us, very patient, and allowed us to view the home multiple times. They explained the options available to us, which was a big factor in our decision to proceed with buying the home. Jacqueline was brilliant, and had us both in stitches laughing. She then took us through the necessary paperwork with ease and could not have been more helpful. Thank you so much! Alan & Amy

Abbey the young saleswoman at Greenwards Point Easingwold was excellent. She was personable, helpful and knowledgeable. We arrived at a very busy time this afternoon and Abbey juggled all four sets of customers calmly and efficiently. My friend was choosing between a two bed bungalow and a three bed house. Abbey gave her time to consider the descriptions. She didn't hurry my friend or push info on. Abbey waited to be asked anout the properties. I was very impressed.

This review relates to the complaints department, and in particular Matthew, Caroline and Laura. We love our house and having bought a new build before we knew that you get issues and snags within the first couple of years. While Avant were still on site they were fairly good at sorting out little bits, but once they left it was rare to see them about. I had raised an issue a while ago and heard nothing so logged a complaint, and within 24 hours Matthew had got back to me and booked a site visit for the same week with Laura and Caroline. The ladies have been this afternoon and they were very helpful, Laura sorted a couple of minor bits while she was here and Caroline made detailed notes about our concerns. I have every confidence that they will remedy our issues and have been really pleased with how our complaint has been dealt with. Thank you.I would add that we have lived in our Avant home for nearly two years and we absolutely love it. The layout is fantastic for a young family and we have not been plagued with issues like others have reported.

Today, I was visited by Caroline and Laura. I have been dealing with Caroline for the last few months and she has been fantastic in pushing to get the snag list completed on our property. It was such a breath of fresh air to have a face to face visit from the customer care team today and Laura was able to complete a few jobs whilst here, going above and beyond to make sure that I was happy and that what she did was to a very high standard. I can’t express enough what a difference it makes to have a home visit, so thank you. There are still a few things to do but I have been left today with the reassurance and confidence that all will be sorted and to a standard that I am more than happy with. Thank you so much!Olivia

If you do not want your experience of buying a new home ruining, DO NOT buy from Avant. I had issues from the very beginning with the Sales team and followed their Complaints Process as advised and detailed on their website and every email was ignored, even from the CEO, great leadership!!!. If the CEO cannot be bothered to respond then what hope do you have of getting any response at all when that is the culture the leader of the business instills.Their response time to emails for snagging is ridiculous and they will do anything they can to not respond.I have been in my house for over 2 years, I love the layout and the area but the build quality and willingness to close out snagging issues is appalling. So much so, the optional extra flooring I chose as an extra has never and is still not fit for purposeA while ago I did leave a 5 star review as their best engineer came knocking on doors with a card explaining if they didn't get 10 5 star reviews they would not get a bonus. The worst company I have ever had to deal with

I booked a viewing online on thursday for Saturday morning to view the Shorebrook at Trinity Fields in Retford, i recevied a confirmation email stating that someone would come back to me to confirm my appointment. - no one did.On saturday morning i called to make the booking, i said that i had booked online and the lady said oh i have not got round to confirming them yet! My request was for 10am, i called at 10am so not sure how i was meant to get to the viewing.We explained that we would like to view the Shorebrook and rearrange to go to Trinity Fields on sunday between 10am and 11am to view the property. The lady explained that the property that we had enquired about had now been sold, but there was another property but this was more expensive, we said that was fine.We arrive at the show office on sunday morning at 10.30am, the lady in the office was on the telephone apologising to someone about brochures that had not been sent out. She welcomed us and we explained who we were and why we had come, she continued to show us the site plan and then explain that she did not have a show home of the Shorebrook to show us, there was on in Sheffield that we could go and see!She said she could show us another 4 bed home, but we said the whole reason for us coming was to view the house that we wanted to buy! we were not impressed with this and explained that she had bascially wasted our time. Why could she have not said on the phone, there was not show home and said that there was on in Sheffield that we could view.We were looking forward to viewing the property and potentially buying it, this has left us feeling that we should give Avant a wide birth, as if you cannot get view properties right imagine what buying one would be like.Therefore we have decided to not take the purchase of a Shorebrook at Trinity Park any further.Kind RegardChris Johnson
