GoogleBuyer Beware. Like most new-build homes, my property at Earl Park had a number of snagging issues. Whilst some have been addressed, one significant defect first reported in September 2024 remains unresolved. Avant Homes have acknowledged the issue, sent multiple contractors to inspect and price the required remedial works, and even had a proposed solution put forward. However, once the costs were returned, I was informed the works could not obtain the necessary sign-off and no resolution has been provided. After raising a formal complaint in January 2026, I have still not received a final response within the timeframe set out in their complaints procedure and have been left with no option but to escalate the matter to the New Homes Ombudsman Service. For a developer of this size that heavily promotes its five-star rating, the level of aftercare, communication and accountability has been extremely disappointing. Prospective buyers should carefully consider the level of support they may receive once they have moved in.

GoogleDo not purchase with Avant Homes! We have lived in new homes for the past 10 years, and never have we had an experience like this one.. From the first day we moved in, it has been problem after problem. We are now 1 year into our new home and items off the original snag list have not been actioned, like cracks in windows, a draft through the house coming from a bay window that they know has an issue and exterior cladding and fascias that mean the house looks incomplete. We spent over 400k on this house and the driveway isn't even big enough to have the cars on it whilst being able to open the garage door! the business solution was to overhang onto the pavement or for me and my wife to fork out for a roller door! Avant Homes said that the building and driveway was made to the drawing, which by the way you are not allowed to have.... but as there are no regulations to the length of driveways, they are overlooking the practicality of what they have planned and if we would have seen the drawing with an understanding of the swing of the garage door, I dont think we would have purchased this house! We have had no choice but to raise our complaints with NHBC due to the lack of standards and customer service this business offers. If you are looking to live around this area, please do not be the people to go through this pain! It has not been worth it. Time after time we have given the Avant Homes team chances to resolve and even their Area customer manager came out and promised the world to deliver nothing! We have seen 3 customer success team come and go in the last year and 2 site managers! I think this says alot about this business.

GoogleDon’t seem to be bothered once you buy the house and everything goes through. Been waiting for a reply back for nearly month now about mould we have around the skirting downstairs.

Googlewell lasted 4 days at avant homes did what I was told to do then Wayne the gaffer said I was no longer needed treated like rubbish by linsco (agency) and avant homes wouldn't trust either of these outfits to run a bath avoid like a rash
