GoogleI couldn't have asked for a better estate agent. While my search continues, the service I have received from Clare at Ashton's estate agents has been fantastic. Regular weekly updates, follow up calls, excellent advice and professionalism, are but a few ways that Clare has made me feel truly valued as a customer. I would recommend Ashton's in a heartbeat.

GoogleI recently (March 2018) purchased a house through Ashton's Estate Agents. With particular reference to Jade Sainty, Sales Progression Coordinator, the sale went through in 5 weeks, smoothly, without hiccup, with a constant attention to high quality customer care and excellent channels of communication. I would not hesitate to recommend them and will certainly use them if my need to move arises in the future. Thank you Ashton's... and Jade... a first class service.

GoogleWe was looking for an investment property in York and specifically for the holiday/short term let market. After searching the internet and contacting a number of other agents we finally has the pleasure of specking with Jack Griffin at Ashtons. Jack understood our requirements and demonstrated a good understanding of this specific market for the York area and recommended a number of properties to view. He was accommodating for viewing times and presented himself in a very professional manor, following a viewing we have put an offer in on a property and Jack has helped with sourcing solicitors and management companies moving forward. Great customer service and would highly recommend.

GoogleWe are really impressed with the service we received from Ashtons Estate Agents, and we can't recommend them enough. They go out of there way to help you and can't do enough for you. It was the coldest day on record and the boiler stopped working. It was on a Sunday, but we received someone out to mend it within the hour. We were very impressed, especially as it was thick with snow. It is a refreshing change to deal with a professional Company where all the staff give an outstanding, professional and caring service. After the last letting agent, it was great to have a letting agent who really looks after their tenants. GoogleI have been extremely impressed by Ashtons throughout the entire process. Having previously attempted to sell my house with Coalters, I decided to take some time out and then re-launch with Ashtons, just 6 weeks ago. Everything from viewings, the communication, to feedback, to photographs and now to progression has been fantastic. I genuinely feel that they are working very hard for us!

GoogleThoroughly unimpressed with this service. I am a young buyer and was very ill treated and not taken very seriously. I was treated like a time waster and clearly not interested in making a sale; especially as the man who spoke to us was swearing over the table and giving us houses that were far too out of our requirements. If I buy another house I will definitely not be using their service.

GoogleUnfortunately, we had a very bad experience with them. We were looking for a house, put an offer on one, we offered 5k more then it`s asking price. Two days later , we received an email saying then our offer was UNACCEPTABLE. That`s it. No more contact. We found it very insulting.

GoogleI moved to Ashton's after having an unsuccessful few months with another agent. I was very impressed with the honest and impartial feedback from the Ashton's team with regards to how to improve the listing and the best way to proceed. More importantly, I was confident that every time they arranged a viewing it was for a serious potential buyer as opposed to a viewing purely for it's own sake. Overall, I'm very pleased with the service Ashton's provided and would happily recommend them.

GoogleCurrent Market conditions have proved difficult to sell my property and although it’s taken some time, I’m delighted the sale has completed today. It’s understandable that sellers get frustrated and impatient with their estate agent and potentially move onto another estate agent. However, I stayed with Ashtons as market conditions is not their fault. However, they made themselves accountable for everything else and were pro-active with suggestions on how to best market my property. It felt like a partnership and we made changes together which has now resulted in a success sale. Ashton’s have been very supportive over this period and gone beyond their remit to help me (I don’t live locally). I’ve felt they really care, nothing was too much trouble and they provided a very personal service which is very rarely seen these days. I am glad we put our trust in them and be assured they will do everything they can to help you sell your property.

GoogleAfter buying a few properties in the past, It can be a little bit daunting. I had never thought about buying a property in york but after popping into the bootham branch, I can honestly say that my views have been turned around! Popped in to see what was on the market and had a few questions of my own to ask about the area and I must say, Claire was extremely helpful in answering my questions in so much detail and was very helpful in showing me a few roperties that where on the market. Excellent staff and customer service !!! (Thanks Claire for your all your help!)
