I don't want to give a bad review…

I don't want to give a bad review because I do love my house. I do think Ashberry build nice houses. However I have been plagued with issues that are just not being dealt with. Everyone is really nice and they say all the right things but I have a big list of big things that have not been done. My entire front door and frame needed replacing. It got replaced over 10 days ago but left unfinished. And the initial problem with it, still remains even after it has been changed. I have huge holes in my plaster and I can't get anyone to answer my emails. That's the most frustrating thing. I know things take time but to tell me someone is coming and then they don't show and zero communication as to why, that is why I am writing this now. My garden is a bog and my front porch wall is unfinished. Other minor things that I expected but the most frustrating thing is when you get ignored.It's a real shame because I love this development and fundamentally I love my house. I just want it finished.

Everything has been amazing from start to final. We moved into our new home around a month ago. Adam was always happy to answer emails and any questions during the building process. Since moving in Lorraine has been brilliant sorting out any issues or queries. Purchasing new Ashberry home

Had a response many thanks Asberry, but cant fine where you have requested more info from myself. It appears from reading reviews on here that it either goes fab or dreadful when it comes to Ashberry. We unfortunately are currently in the dreadful category. Having visit site at Chesterfield on 29th Dec 22 and coming away having been given the positive vibe from the POC we believed our purchase was more or less going to be plain sailing in a matter of days. Not to be. Part exchange was offered as an option and then we were told it wasn't. Then later in the day Sat an insultingly low offer made. We withdrew our interest the following day as we felt extremely misled and let down. Only then to received 4 calls in a matter of minutes One from the PX hub offering an 8 week hold on the plot whilst we sell our home. Once the docs arrived for signing however, I have now been told that this is not possible. Still waiting for the PX Hub to come back and we will take advice with regards to the legality of the offer made by them for the plot hold. I have to say that this has been a very unprofessional service and support from all parties currently involved and the shine has been removed from what should be an enjoyable event. Buying a beautiful new home should not be this badly handled.

New Cardington Gate, Exceptional Build Quality and Customer Service

I've now been at my new home since 16th December and could not be happier. Two individuals from Ashberry are definitely worthy of mention and have been nothing short of amazing during the purchase and move in process:Adam (sales) - Adam is a great front man and ambassador for Ashberry Homes. From the very first sales enquiry meeting I knew I was in good hands and warmed to Adam immediately. Adams wonderful demeanour, customer focused service and support during the whole purchase process has been nothing short of exceptional. Chris (Site) - I was introduced to Chris during the pre move in inspection, where Chris gave an enthusiastic and comprehensive inspection of the property in its raw state before any finishing. A further meeting with Chris followed just prior to move in where Chris gave another thorough induction to the property, heating, services, facilities etc. What a great guy who really knows his stuff. It was very apparent that Chris was totally committed to ensuring a quality product. Nothing is too much trouble for him and the post move in support process has so far been seamless. Kudos to Ashberry for the concept of allowing purchasers to view the property pre finish. The build quality, attention to detail and safety protocols put in place are obviously why Ashberry retain their 5 star rating! In summary I am delighted with my new property and would not hesitate to recommend Ashberry Homes to any prospective buyers.Thank you Ashberry!

Reserved my plot in January 2022 with the build being sold as being ready August/September 2022. They have happily taken my upgrades money and in April they happily took an advance on the deposit. Then my house wasn't going to be ready till October. I realise that these things happen and i could live with the new date. I'm now locked into a legally binding contract to complete the purchase which, last night, i was informed is now going to be completed in April 2023!!!! If i could get my money back i would go elsewhere immediately! Really, really angry and frustrated.

Bad House Builder, Avoid

We moved into our fantastic new house on the 02.12.2021.After this date we began to notice imperfections which always happens in a new build house, we were told to report these as we noticed them, We starting noticing the issues after around two months of been in the property which was February time 2022.My list became quite large, the service that followed was rubbish with myself constantly ringing and chasing the issues.I have walls out of tolerance, Walls that need reskimming, squeaking stairs from top to bottom, bathroom tiles out of tolerance in two bathrooms, Shower tray damage, windows that wont open proving fire escape risk... The list still goes on.Present date 19.12.2022, we have had some of the issues rectified but the very easy ones, theses are not stated. Fuming is an under statement this house builder is not bothered about the customer, the customer service is shocking. I'm nine months into the reporting of issue and were still not done.One slight confession I had a meeting with a customer service manager at my property, he agreed all the issues with the plan to rectify all my issues. I was unwilling to let them rectify the bathrooms as they would have to fully rip out both bathroom tiles and start again, the finish was that bad. Instead I requested compensation and this was refused.I would advise anyone buying from Ashberry to pay for an independent Snagging Survey prior to moving in.

My Horrendous experience whole experience has been horrendous…

My whole experience has been horrendous in fact it has made me depressed. All I wanted was a house built to a professional standard which it Hasn't. I have been in this industry for 42 years and honestly have not seen a house built to such a poor standard !!!!.The experience with sales was and there communication was poor. Customer Care is none exsistant and there probably told by upper management to egnore issues. When you meet up with the construction director and contacts manager and agree something verbally ( was led to believe if I gave a positive NHBC review then things will happen )then try and follow it through later on they seem to have a memory loss. Had nearly 300 snagging issues which cost me alot to get with nothing hardly done and major stuff Ignored. House was not cleaned when key hand over as not given home tour . Carpets where dirty and was noted, Amtico flooring scratched , painting was shocking etc .The main issues are the Brickwork which is shocking and Block paving is a imbarasment to say the least. If the Management would come and see which they keep declining they could see the issues and get rectified. If I could show pictures I would put up . Would Never recommend because I wouldn't want any one else to experience what i'am good through. Kitchen poorly fitted half of it had to be replaced .
