We rented an apartment they delayed making a recommendation so that we would not be able to move out and pay for the rented apartment from their agency in the future. Later we found another apartment and resolved the issue with the recommendation without their participation. Then there were strange manipulations with deadlines that had to be paid additionally. It turned out that they had 33 days in August.😀 it turned out that instead of 7 days they calculated 9 days. Mold was forming in the apartment due to freezing of the floor. The agency indicated that the mold was dirt; they know better. The deposit refund amount has been agreed upon, but is not being returned. They simply ignore our letters and requests for the return of the deposit. Upd. The deposit was returned almost 3 months later. I demanded a refund of my deposit almost every day.

I have been using Anscombes for around 8 years now and have bought and sold 2 properties and rented through them to around 5 different tenants over the years and can't recommend them more highly. I just recently re-rented my property in Bayswater and Edward and Hugh couldn't be more helpful and canny at what will rent and how quickly...we have a lay period of 12 hours between tenants..! Very happy to recommend them to anyone who is after a professional, knowledgeable and reliable estate agent and lettings agent in the area. Update: Very sorry to be selling my flat as the last 18 years of working with Edward and his team in the rentals department at Notting Hill has been nothing short of a pleasure. Best of luck to them going forwards...the review stays the same...I would still recommend them as the best in the business!

I loved working with Ruadhri Bates! I was communicating with a number of agents while looking for a flat in Notting Hill, and right away Ruadhri stood out with his professionalism, warmth, attention to detail, and his proactive communication.
