GoogleI hesitated to review this company, because I just have nothing good to say. I am quick to praise great service and have been through the conveyancing process several times, so know what to expect. From the outset, this estate agency had a strange attitude. The person who showed us round told us that she wanted the property herself, but decided to "let us have it" and she was not joking. They left us, unsupervised at an elderly person's home, on 2 separate occasions and they treated us throughout, as though we were a nuisance, rather than a customer. It was almost like a "blame defence" whenever we spoke to them, no matter how polite or kind we were. The agent failed to follow up on sale progress, until prompted, even after a 7 week delay in proceedings. They did nothing to encourage smooth relations between us and their vexatious client and they did not keep their own client informed about the conveyancing process, because she did not understand how the transfer of funds worked, even up to completion of the transaction. Aldreds made everything more complicated than it needed to be. They were condescending and downright rude at times. Our feedback to them regarding their professionalism went unheeded and therefore I could never recommend them to any of my friends or family and I do not recommend them to sellers at all.

As always, we review challenging circumstances and look to see how we can learn from them and try to avoid repeat experiences for us, our clients and their buyers. Regretfully, as agents we can only have limited control of the situation at times, with many other parties in the moving process. This is particularly the case when there are large and changing sales chains involved, as was there was in this instance. Fortunately, we all finally managed to reach a successful conclusion in the end and our client was very pleased and grateful for the service that we provided her with. I’ve often wondered what agents do to earn their fee. I wonder no more! The Stalham team at Aldreds have been incredible throughout the sale of my house. My sale has not been without issue (not to do with Aldreds!) and Aldreds have helped me to navigate through each hurdle. They’ve been approachable, professional and really nice to deal with through the whole process. I’m really grateful to have had them as my agent.

I. contacted Aldreds Great Yarmouth when I see a flat I like up for rent. I explained my problem, no one had the decency to contact me about it they just invited me to view the property. I spoke to the staff member at the flat that obviously fell on deaf ears. I contacted them again when I see the flat back up to let. I then found out they didn't even bother to send the application to the landlord. Just went through the motions with me then totally ignored my application. That proves they don't and won't deal with problems just want everything straight forward. My advice go else where there are msnh more agencies out there.
