Paul and the team did a brilliant job for us. The property we were selling got tied up in probate for an extended period but the service level never flagged. They also kept an eye on the property during this period - important as we don't live locally. As to the sales process they procured a sensible buyer at a value close to where Paul suggested we pitch it. The transaction then ran seamlessly through to an early completion. Overall I was hyper impressed!

Everything went smoothly from initial consultation in the office to the first meeting at the property with a director of Aldreds and beyond. Paul gave us good advice regarding pricing (which worked) as the 4th viewing proved successful. We were kept informed of each viewing, persons name, time and feedback. Photos and description of the property were accurate and well presented. As it was a holiday home Aldreds had to show prospective buyers around as we were unable to be there and they obviously did their job well. All in all an excellent company to deal with.

I must say that Aldreds are very professional and trustworthy, we are glad that we chose them for our sale. Our chain was not the easiest to deal with but they stuck with it, especially Peppa, but when she was off Claire and Tracey handled things very well. We had a fantastic service from Paul at Aldreds in the sale of our holiday home. I visited the office early in August and Paul came round to discuss the sale the next day. We discussed the local area and Paul was very knowledgeable about the market. We agreed the selling price and the property went on the market in the next few days. A number of viewings were booked and there was a great deal of interest. Within a couple of weeks we had a number of offers and agreed to accept one at the full asking price. The sale went through within 8 weeks. A couple of years earlier I had put the house on the market with an online agent. Had a single viewing and no response. Having experienced this I have no hesitation in recommending Aldreds for a top class job.

I can't praise this company

I can't praise this company highly enough. I live in Belize, so everything had to be done by phone and email. I contacted several local companies before putting the company on the market, and Aldreds' were the only ones to respond in a highly professional way. As we hadn't visited the property we were selling for ten years, a lot of my information was vague, but, they were able to help me with everything including reporting on the condition of the property, and organizing work on tidying the garden, repairs and so on, in preparation for the sale. They also gave us a realistic account of the state of the local market, and helped us fix a sensible price. The property, being covered by local restrictions on full time residency, was not an easy one to sell, but we did find a buyer in a reasonable time period. However, there was a last minute technical issue with the buyer's mortgage, and it was the ladies at Aldred's who were able to keep be informed, blow by blow, at a very anxious time for us. Even when Alison, our main contact was out of the office or on leave, Karen was able to pick up the gauntlet and keep us informed, in fact, faster than our solicitor did. At all times they were helpful, friendly and cheerful. I can't recommend this company highly enough, a great example of how a local estate agency should be run.

Aldreds provided an excellent service, right from the point of valuation. Paul Lambert gave a fair and realistic valuation, giving in-depth details as to the services provided by Aldreds. During the sale process, viewing reactions were reported back, with all members of the staff team viewing the property to familiarise themselves, for any questions asked. Staff especially Alison Jennings were efficient at following up viewings. Once a sale had been instructed Alison kept very much on top of the sale, her involvement helped to complete the sale in 10 weeks. I would like to highly recommend the quality and efficency of service rendered by Mr Paul Lambert and his staff at Aldreds Stalham Branch. Shortly after viewing 'Latchets', (the propety to be sold), the sale contrat was duly signed on 24th September 2013. Within days, a number of prospective buyers visited and offers were successively submitted. Mr Lambert was quick to recommend one of several interested parties and rapid advances were initially made to proceed. At this point, our own solicitors underwent a take-over bid, involving the removal of a number of staff dealing with our sale, which led to hold-ups in the sale process. In the meantime, the buyers found themselves in the most unenviable position of having to risk selling their own property without be able to be sure of receiving any legally binding confirmation of our intent to sell Latchets to them. Mr Lambert and his staff played a major role in arranging a temporary letting agreement with the buyers, enabling them to avopis two 'moves' while psychologically reassuring them our our intentions. They were also able to celebrate Christmas in what was to become, barely four months after their offer was accepted, 'their' home! Throughout the interim period, Mr Lambert and Karen Downing have distinguished themselves by their supportive, professional approach and their unreserved availability at all times. i am extremely grateful to them and have no hestitation in recommending Paul Lambert and his colleagues for tthe high quality of their irreproachable work.
