GoogleWe had a brilliant and seamless experience with Ad Hoc. Charlie went above and beyond: showed us a range of flats in the area we were looking at, clearly explained how the guardianship works & was really quick and patient in answering our developing queries. You are in safe hands if u choose Ad Hoc!

GoogleI reached out to Ad-Hoc Property Management to apply for a room and was informed I couldn’t be considered due to being on benefits, despite clearly meeting affordability and offering upfront rent payments. When I raised this as a concern under the Equality Act, I received a solicitor’s cease-and-desist letter instead of a proper reply. I’ve since reported the issue, and SpareRoom has launched a formal investigation and frozen multiple listings. As a disabled person, I found their handling of this distressing and dismissive. It’s important people know how housing applicants are treated.

GoogleTerrible experience. Really bad communication. Rang the Birmingham number multiple times for Ad hoc as I was interested.in becoming a Guradian at a rental in Solihull. No one ever answers the phone! Ever! Left several messages. Then emailed, filled out an on line application nothing!!!!

GoogleAdHoc have continued to deliver excellent service over the past 3 years. I had previously been a guardian with Dotdotdot and AdHoc go the extra mile to help, communicating in a timely manner, with empathy. For anyone considering guardianship, I personally recommend AdHoc - they are transparent, accountable and empathetic.

GoogleAbsolutely dreadful! They have zero customer service, you call and leave a message and they don’t return the call. When you eventually get through to talk to someone they show you a property, then waste your time to tell you it’s no longer available whilst you’re standing in the property! The worst people to deal with are Dean who acts like he’s allergic to picking up a call and Andrew who makes promises he can’t keep! Andrew, just keep quiet no one asked for false promises! I ended up renting from someone else. Wouldn’t recommend these people to someone to an enemy if I had one, they’re THAT BAD! AVOID! In response to the Ad Hoc response: My experience was from June - September 2022…THIS IS HOW BAD YOUR SERVICE IS! It shouldn’t have taken this long to communicate! As I had a family member ill from Aug 2022 until their passing writing my review at the time wasn’t my priority! Plus there were other members of staff whose names I didn’t get, that were also awful to deal with! It seems to be the attitude of your entire office!

GoogleBad communications from start to finish. I spoke to Stacey through email as nobody ever picked up the phone. I enquired through Rightmove and got an email to say there was a room available and to confirm a few things. I confirmed I was eligable and was asked what property I was enquiring about (this would be a reoccuring theme). I was asked again if i was interested in the property which of course I was. She then let me know viewings would be happening on the Thursday the 22nd but when I recieved the viewing confirmation email it was for a different property. I brought this up and WAS ASKED AGAIN WHICH PROPERTY I WAS ENQUIRING ABOUT, a new confirmation was made but I failed to notice the date had also changed from the thursday to the wednesday. it was also falsely confirmed by Stacey to be the thursday in a follow up confirmation email to say I look forward to seeing her then. the property is now off the market and i missed the viewing.
