GoogleWe have found Absolute in Torquay to be very efficient and honest. Katie in lettings has worked hard, been very thoughtful and considerate and got a good outcome with no fuss.

GoogleFrank met us at the property. He was cheerful, helpful and informative. When realising that the property did not meet our needs, he questioned us on what our expectations were and our requirements and suggested other properties. We felt he went above and beyond and delivered a quality service and would definitely recommend Frank and Absolute.

Ella supported our move from start to finish and has checked in with the family and i after the move- Ella was quick and efficient, always provided reassurance with worries or concerns we had. GoogleAbsolute used a professional photographer and we were pleased with the photographs. They sold our house quickly for a good price. They were always polite and friendly when they answered the phone. Sadly however, we do not feel we can recommend them as they did not stay in touch with us during the long, complicated conveyancing process. At one point, near the end, our solicitor asked, "Do you have an estate agent working for you?"
We feel that a 2* review for producing great professional photographs and then selling the property quickly for a good price is not very fair. The conveyancing process was about an average length of time in the current market which is admittedly several weeks longer than it usually is due to how busy all the parties are. We very much doubt that the solicitor would ask such a question, as we send them a memorandum of sale at the outset and had been in contact with them on numerous occasions during the transaction as we had with yourself. At the end of the day we're pleased that we sold your property for a good price in a good timescale and that the property got to an exchange of contracts in an acceptable timescale.

GoogleThe whole team, Ella in particular, have been amazing in helping us with our house move. They have all been so kind, efficient and helpful. Ella has shown us that nothing is too much to ask, and she has even answered emails out of office hours which I never expected! Absolute have been the quickest, and most personable Estate Agents, and Ella has definitely made a stressful time a lot less stressful! 10/10!

GoogleReally bad experience in contacting this company. I had to send two messages for the same property as they were not contacting me, rang them, the young lady on the phone told me I would have to wait again to be contacted. When explained that I should have had been contacted already she got impatient and told me that I would have to wait more or try to fill in the form again to visit the property. I did it a third time, but got absolutely 0 replies. Very untrustworthy!
Dear Andreia, There is a record demand for rental properties, we receive in excess of 50 enquiries for most properties we advertise and can only book viewings for 4-6 potential tenants at a time. If you are not successful in being in that initial group we simply don’t have the time to call back the other 40 applicants as we then have to switch our focus on the next property that our landlords have employed us to let. If the first block viewing does not result in us finding a suitable tenant we then contact another 4-6 people and continue to do so until we secure a tenant. We have an extra staff member starting with us at the end of the month to help us with the demand but with a lack of rental properties across the market generally it shows no sign of easing. Those agents with more time to call everyone back may well have less properties available to rent, according to Rightmove stats we let the most properties in Torbay each year. It is always disappointing when someone who has not actually been a client of ours reviews us purely because demand is so high. Simon Fisher Founding Director

This was a slightly tricky agreement but Ella managed to successful complete with all of us incredibly happy and in a short timescale to save us occuring costs. A very professional, friendly and efficient service all round. We were kept informed of the progression of the sale of our rental property every step of the way and would highly recommend Absolute to others. GoogleGreat experience with absolute Paignton from start to finish. They sold my house almost instantly, it then fell through which they then sourced another buyer from up country within a week. Special mention to Nicola Gainard for all her help with viewings and constant contact and updates, and also to Kim Hughes the sales progresser. Always available on phone calls and always quick to respond will definitely be using them again and recommending.

It took a lot longer than expected to finalise due to circumstances beyond their control.Both Tina and Kim were most helpful in answering any questions I needed to have answers to and kept me updated on progress through to completion. Our journey was very protracted and far from straightforward, no fault of Absolute though - at every turn they kept us informed of what was happening, and were polite, professional and helpful in all their dealings with us. I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the torquay branch (I feel we know them all very well by now!) for playing such an important role in helping us secure our dream home at long last.
