GoogleI have worked with absolute for a little over a year now. After using two other local Estate Agents, I can safely say that Absolute have done a great Job so far. The in-house referencing in particular has impressed me. Marketing has been good, as have the agents I have worked with! They're not the cheapest agents in the bay, but I guess you pay for what you're getting (Quality). I would recommend without a shadow of a doubt!

GoogleRecently moved into a properly and so far very happy with the service provided. The application process was hassle free with easy to follow steps. All enquiries are always answered in a professional and timely manner. Big thank you to my point of contact - Kenzie who is great and patiently answers my million and one questions about the property on every day basis :) nothing seem to ever be a trouble for her. GoogleRelied on Absolute this month to get me Moved as I’ve been facing homelessness. It’s like getting blood out of a stone just to get them to return your calls. Facing homelessness and I’ve managed to arrange two viewings this month, the ones I’ve applied for I can’t even get any news on because they won’t get back to me. For weeks now I’ve been calling and asking them to return my calls. One letting agent for the whole of Torquay is ridiculous and your making your clients suffer for it. Any other agency will treat you with respect and a sense of urgency. Hands down the worst experience of any estate agent I’ve spoken to this month. As a landlord as well I don’t see why you would let such an incompetent agency do your business for you. I can think of 4 properties that could’ve been filled this month that just haven’t been because this agency is unresponsive.
We're very sorry that you feel it necessary to post this misleading review and didn't consider contacting one of the directors of the company who would have been happy to speak to you. You have not 'relied on Absolute', we are one of around 20 letting agents in Torquay plus there are hundreds of private landlords. As for facing homelessness, you told us you were "moving out of your Mum's' which doesn't sound like you're being made homeless. We have had no issues with letting properties this month, in fact we have a massive undersupply of properties for the thousands of tenants that we have registered on our mailing list. This is no different than any other local letting agent. As you say we have booked viewings for you at 2 different properties so we can't be that difficult to get hold of and we don't have just one property manager for Torquay, we have 2 dedicated property managers for Torquay as well as another 7 staff in the lettings department who also answer calls and can assist our customers. As a 21 year old we find it extremely unlikely that you are actually a landlord yourself, even if you were we fail to see why you would not live in your own property if you were genuinely facing homelessness. Our landlords ask us to find good tenants and this review proves that our landlords have had a lucky escape if this is the anger you have simply because you haven't been able to secure a property through us. GoogleCalled into the Wellswood office a week ago for a update on a Torquay project that Absolute are agents for. The person I met at there office could not help and took my details for someone to contact me. Still no contact a week later. I guess with most badly run companies they will blame Covid. I will stay well clear of this company if I decide to put my property on the market.

GoogleI have contacted the Paignton branch on two occasions and on each occasion I have dealt with a very professional and polite lady called Nicola. She has answered all my questions and also emailed me some very useful information regarding properties I am interested in. Estate agents sometimes get bad press from the general public, but my dealings with the branch have been first class and Nicola is a credit to her branch. Hi Linda, We do have policies in place to try and assist people in your situation including paying rent up front or using savings to help with your affordability to pass our referencing requirements. We have to look at the situation beyond the initial 6 months for our landlords as well and often will consider a guarantor to assist with this. If you would like to call me on 01803214214 I will do my best to try and assist you, I think there may have been some confusion in what my staff member said and you understood from it but I’m sure it can be resolved.
