Having recently both sold and purchased through Seymours in Staines I would highly recommend them. Mark and his team were both personable and professional. They stayed on top of the whole process providing guidance and reassurance when necessary. One simple thing that made them stand out was that everyone in the office seemed to know who we were and who was looking after our case and someone would always call back. More often than not, however, they would proactively be calling us. Given the difficult climate, there were a few unexpected ‘bumps’ along the way but we feel that Seymours did an outstanding job in coordinating the process and chain.

With their wealth of experience Seymour’s gave good advice and tried to make the whole process of selling our house as painless as possible over the shortest possible time. We read that on average it tasks 19 viewing before you might get an offer - in the space of about 2 weeks we had about 25 viewing before the offer that lead to sold stc. Which we were pleased with in the current housing market. Jeff and team were punctual and courteous and let us know if there were any changes to viewing. I guess I was expecting more feedback for each of the viewing but I understand that if people are not interested for whatever reason there is not much you can do about it - so just move on.

Thanks for the review Nicky We spend a great deal of our time listening to our buyers to identify their needs. We then use this knowledge to help match the property to the person. It takes a lot of time, but it's time well spent for everyone's property journey. It's equally important to get the viewing feedback as this helps build up the picture of what potential buyers think, but as you rightly say, we can't force people to provide feedback.

It's such a basic thing to do - talk! For us, it doesn't matter who to, the buyer, the seller, the solicitors, mortgage brokers, other agents in the chain, we don't even mind doing their job for them, in fact, we expect it. Keep getting fake letters through my door for the past 3 years saying Mr & Mrs M are looking to buy a house in the area with their 2 kids and are currently living with friends, the same letter for 3 years. They even sent the letter to us about 4 days after the house had finished being built and it continues all these years later. I called for the 4th time today and the Blackwater branch manager had the nerve to ask me why its an issue, he said that he gets pizza leaflets through the door so why should I care?
