I originally approached Simpsons with a view to selling and had fantastic service from Stewart culminating in a very quick sale. However my circumstances unexpectedly changed and I decided to let instead so was introduced to Joe. He and his team have been extremely helpful, patiently answering my many questions and providing helpful advice in order to secure a suitable tenant within a very short time. Using an independent agent means the service I get is professional with the bonus of local knowledge and that personal touch. I look forward to dealing with them for a long time and have no hesitation in recommending them 🙂

I rent out my Abingdon apartment using the letting agency side of Simpson's and I have been very pleased with the service I have received. Living abroad, I am able to rest easily in the knowledge that I really don't have to deal with anything to do with my property in the UK and it is all taken care of by Simpson's, in particular by Joe Hodgkins. I receive almost immediate responses to all queries and every part of the rental is taken care of by the company. The service charges are very competitive and I am informed of additional charges in a timely manner. Highly recommended.

We have recently exchanged contracts on a sale and purchase through Simpsons. We found them to be extremely patient, efficient, and reliable throughout the entire process. They marketed our house well and were very communicative and proactive at booking in viewings and in providing feedback. When we did agree our sale, there were a few stumbling blocks but Stewart and Matt acted with great professionalism and with a friendly demeanour at all times, going the extra mile to chase associated parties and keep us up-to-date each step of the way. As for the buying process, we felt like they very much ‘got us’ and were completely flexible and pressure-free throughout. We could not fault their service and are so grateful to them for how they handled our situation from start to finish. We would definitely recommend using Simpsons for their high quality and efficient service.

They were incredibly understanding and responsive in relation to our changing needs and nothing was too much trouble. We have to agree with the previous review that scored this company one star. The owner is beyond believe and wont take ownership of any mistakes his company makes on behalf of clients and certainly throws his toys out of the pram if you dare to point out that you own the property that is being sold and not him and that he is is supposed to be an agent acting on your behalf. I must say though that the Assistant Manager and the other member of staff that we came into contact were always helpful but due to the owners attitude i would not advise using this company.

We have recently purchased a property through Simpson's Estate Agents in Abingdon. Having dealt with most if not all the estate agents in the local area I can honestly say Simpsons level of customer care and service have impressed us the most. Throughout our search for a property they were always polite and professional and never pushy. Once we had found this property we found them to be punctual and up to date at each stage of the process meaning we didn't have to chase and the purchase went through smoothly and as planned. Finally their after sales has been great also, Stewart personally has helped us out since the sale has completed at no cost to us or gain to himself other than keeping the customer relationship going.
