GoogleI highly recommend Stonehouse Property and I personally had an all round fantastic experience. Again, my sincere thanks to Maureen for showing me around a couple of viewings and giving me the insights to areas around Aberdeen. It's obvious she loves her job in help people find their new home within Aberdeen. Ask for Maureen when you're looking for your new home or rental, and I guarantee you wouldn't want anyone else.

We have recently marketed and rented a property through DJ Alexander Glasgow.Their service has been excellent and they helped with the process of liaising with the new tenants when the CH failed just before the moving in date. Their marketing of the property has been professional and myself and my wife feel that they listened to us throughout this process. I feel that this has been helped by having a Paige as my client contact keeping me informed all the way. Conor who was our initial new business manager led us through the service and has been a listening ear whenever we had any questions. We live remotely from the flat so having some approachable and easily contactable has been important.

Horrific experience renting with this company in Glasgow. We were left without a working smoke alarm, and several outstanding repairs, including no lighting upstairs for months. This company said they have done their bit by flagging repairs to the landlord but not ensuring anything ever gets fixed... dangerous and incompetent! ***edit I have contacted your mailbox several times and you have rejected my complaint, so please don't make these offers. You are incompetent and represent shoddy landlords. Five star reviews are clearly fake or people just trying to desperately rent properties!

It’s been almost 2 months I left the property, and there was no mentioning of my refund for paying extra on house rent until I reached out, by the time I got paid, it was half, throughout my tenancy, they hardly respond and it took them 2 months to fix my washing machine, what I met in the property as spoilt, they are billing me to fix it after I left, I don’t have an explanation on why my refund is been halved and they have hidden charges that would be levied against you once you leave

Please proceed with caution if you reside in Aberdeen and are looking for private accommodation through DJ Alexander. Don't hesitate to say goodbye to the private accommodation they've offered you. I started leasing the private flat in August 2023, and the contract expires in January 2024. They respond so slowly to complaints that I have to wait 1 to 2 weeks for their response. Also, my deposit has not been returned after nearly two months. I clean the flat (have video of it), and they charge me £230.4 after I queried why they haven't returned my deposit after two months. They are extremely sluggish to reply to complaints yet very quick to collect money from tenants. When using them as an agent, you must take certain factors into consideration.

GoogleI rented for about a year in West-End Aberdeen with them. Absolutely great support for them, specially during the pandemic and any other problems in the apt. They went as far as sending Amazon packages that had been delivered to my old address after I moved to my new one. Thank you Ian. Thank you Stonehouse. A+, definitely recommend them.

I was asked to leave a VIEWING review so here we go! You asked so I'll deliver. Nothing I have to say will differ from others with bad experiences. I believe the corruption and shift behaviour of DJ Alexander runs deep into company culture and may not necessarily be any one letting agent's fault. To this end, I had a viewing recently with a Gemma-Louise and she was kind and informative. However, she outright lied to us about the heating situation in the flat as soon as we walked in, claiming that heating was not on despite a very toasty flat, only for me to touch the heater and feel its conduction. Definitely not trying to embarrass her personally but I blame the shift sales tactics at people drinking coffee at their warm office. If you want tenants, start by being straightforward and honest. It goes without saying that after viewing the flat I learned EPC rating is a minimum E. Shame. Never going to let from them.

Excellent service from Giulia and Yasser. Very quick to produce the schedule with lovely photos plus easy to follow all the admin needed to sell a property. It was on the market less than 2 weeks after initial consultation and viewings were handled by their office. Once offer was accepted everything went through smoothly. I have bought and sold a lot of properties and this was one of the easiest and stress free.
