I utilised APL's services for the first time this summer 2023. Prior to approaching APL and engaging their services, certain rental properties in my portfolio were remaining stubbornly vacant. Once I engaged the services of Stuart, his colleagues, and his team through advertising, marketing, and facilitating viewings however, the apartments were rented out to good tenants without any more unnecessary delay. All enquiries tellingly were passed on to me promptly, and Stuart regularly proactively stayed in touch with me in coordination with developments. A big thanks.

Such genuine and lovely people who work for this leasing company! I have viewed 5/6 properties with them and dealt with 4 members of this company for viewings and all of them were extremely lovely, down to earth and overall amazing. I dealt with Emma first which was the first property I ever viewed from them, she was attentive great and delivered an excellent viewing. I also dealt with Noirin for my next viewing and she has a great attitude, very professional and knew a lot about the properties she was showing. I dealt with Murray twice and on both occasions he was outstanding andon the ball, great guy overall and clearly made sure that the viewers viewing was pleasant! Heather was the last person I dealt with and she was just as great! A lovely lady overall even went out of her way to try and get me to view a property that is very close to hitting the market, Heather went above and beyond and I can’t thank them enough for how helpful they have been throughout the process! My Fiance and I recently moved to Aberdeen from Asia, to start our Primary Education degree, along with our 2 cats (which can make accommodation hunting a daunting task. We communicated with Callie via email prior to arriving when enquiring about suitable properties and she was quick and polite in her responses. When we arrived in Aberdeen we communicated with Emma via email and phone who couldn't have been more helpful and professional. We met Noirin at the viewing of the apartment as she was incredibly kind and informative. She went the extra mile to help us find and obtain the accomodation we wanted and we appreciate her support and hard work. Make sure to look at all bad reviews! The good reviews are obviously fake to boost their rating back up. As you’ll see, it’s a common thing for them to con you out of your whole deposit and more! I even provided dated photographic evidence to show they shouldn’t charge me and they are just ignoring this! DATED PHOTOGRAPHS! I even have a video of what the flat looked like prior to me moving in and this is also ignored. All they care about is taking your money. Even Deposit Scotland agreed they are charging for things that are should be considered “wear and tear”. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

APL allows landlords to rent out apartments with previously known mold issues. They do not require landlords to fix the mold problem before renting to the next tenant. When reporting the mold issue and requesting that it be fixed, APL allows landlords to be difficult about paying for repairs to remedy the mold. We reported thick black mold spreading from inside the walls but more than a year later it’s still not fixed. When contacting APL about it, the contact will say that he thought it’s done already. As an agency that is supposed to be managing the flat, APL expects the tenant to run after plumbers and joiners to come and fix the problem themself. When contacting APL about it for a countless time all they can say is that they thought it’s done already but they couldn’t be bothered to put in some effort to try and help the tenant drive the process to ensure that their tenants are living in an environment that is in good repair as stated to be a requirement in our leasing contract.

It was a little bit slow when processing my application (which was probably because I moved my move-in date forward, so in reality they were quite accommodating). I was mostly able to get through to someone when I phoned about the progress of my application. They provided me with all the information I needed when I picked my keys up and have been attentive with any queries i’ve had since then. Overall, pretty happy with my experience even if it was slightly stressful to begin with.
