My viewings with her were exceptionally smooth; she provided a wealth of information and was able to answer all my questions about the properties comprehensively. GoogleMy partner & I have been renting with APL for a month now & they’ve been absolutely wonderful! They’re so attentive & helpful, quick replies and made everything so easy and straight forward with renting the property. They still managed to make moving in possible amongst all the current issues with the world at the moment & we really appreciated that. Great company, would recommend renting with them. GoogleAfter leasing a flat from APL in February, there have been several occasions where an item has need replaced or repaired (as can be expected in older buildings). My requests have primarily been handled by Allison at APL who has provided an excellent service in every instance, coordinating the contractors who have always resolved the issue quickly and fully. I have been very impressed by the service i have received and would recommend.

GoogleI am satisfied till this moment with this company, I had a smooth viewing experience with Liam Coull, and I am thankful to deal with him. He is helpful and answers my calls. He addressed all my concerns and dedicated time to explain the rental procedures step by step. Also, he was great with solving the miscommunication problem with my previous letting office. I really recommend this company and their excellent employee Liam.

GoogleAs promised, I'm writing another review based on my deposit return. Even though I hired a cleaning company, I was charged for basically dusting. The other charges were things that I know I damaged, so no big deal. I was unable to stay behind and check behind the cleaning company, and dust is hard to photograph. That said, I'm relieved. The way this company has been vilified online doesn't reflect my own experience. My hairdresser rented with APL and got all of her deposit back. They are nit picky, but the manager of my cleaning company said it's not just APL, that they're all like that. I had a huge deposit at stake, so I was terrified. I feel like under the circumstances, I'm getting out ok. Catherine was great in answering my questions regarding my deposit. She was polite, and fast. I have to say that all things considered, I would rent from APL again without hesitation.

GoogleSlow to do repairs at the best if times. Our bathroom was due to be refurbished because it was in dire need but our boiler broke and we were told that because they had to fix the boiler they weren't going to sort the bathroom. It took another 18 months for the bathroom to get sorted. There were also numerous other faults reported about the flat and when we moved out after our 4 year tenancy they hit us with a bill that included all those repairs to bring the flat up to code. We left the flat without deep cleaning it due to it being an incredibly difficult time for us personally due to a death in the family and charged us for that, which is fair, but they charged for 21 hours of cleaning labour which is ridiculous for how the flat was. I've had many letting agents and APL by far took the piss the most often and the most thoroughly. DO NOT rent with this agency if you can help it. We were warned by the previous tenant that they were bad but we dismissed it. DO NOT dismiss it.

He worked day and night and even on the weekend to get my moving date moved back since I had no place to stay so I needed the place as soon as possible. He kept me updated at all times and made the process seamless.

GoogleI met with D. Evans, a patient and very professional leasing consultant who showed me a property at the end of the day. Both of us were very tired having seen many properties separately, but he allowed me to explore and examine the property at my leisure. He provided me with the pertinent information and key details I might have otherwise missed. His service was refreshing and kind. GoogleI've been renting through APL since January. I'm an American LLM student at the University of Aberdeen. I did not read the reviews for APL until after I signed with me. I was terrified. A few weeks ago, my washer/dryer and dishwasher went out on back to back days. I thought: here it comes, they're never going to fix these. I was wrong. A white engineer was sent out the next day. Upon reporting both appliances to be dead, I worried about how soon I would get replacements. My washer/dryer arrived a couple days later. My dishwasher would have been replaced sooner, but it fell off the truck and busted upon delivery. Obviously that was not the fault of APL. Amy Lee has been wonderful in staying in touch with me regarding these issues. I have heard horror stories about being charged for a hair in a drawer after moving out. I wish this company would offer an express cleaning service, where for a flat fee, they hire the cleaners and you don't get dinged for anything cleaning related. I move out in December, and I will be back with another review to report how that goes. I plan to hire the same cleaners they use. I don't doubt the negative experiences some on here have had, but so far, mine has been good. Fingers crossed that it continues.
