I'll start by saying what a fantastic service we received from all the team at Your Move Abbey Wood when selling our property. They took the stress out of the whole process. Rick was very positive from the start that he could achieve the price we wanted and maybe "a bit more", within three weeks, and if not we were welcome to go elsewhere. So with Sharon arranging multiple viewings on the same day, we had offers on the table within a week, with the final offer for "a bit more", agreed within two weeks. Rick and the team then kept us informed throughout the process right up to completion. We can't recommend them highly enough. Thank you very much!

The team was incredibly helpful, professional, and always ready to assist. **Rick, Libby, and Vicki** were especially fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and really went the extra mile to make everything as smooth as possible. If we were to suggest a tiny area for improvement, perhaps a little more consistency in communication would have been helpful at times. But honestly, this didn’t take away from the excellent service we received. Thank you all for your hard work, we truly appreciate it and would happily recommend Your Move Abbey Wood to anyone!

AVOID!! I had to pay £320 because they are unreliable. I was wrong to trust these as my estate agents. Recently locked myself out of my flat and travelled to the Your Move Abbey Wood Branch to collect the spares. Not only did they not give me a full set of keys (so I had to buzz other peoples flats to let me in the front door) but the key they gave me didn’t work. Had to make a total of 23 calls and wait for an hour sat outside my flat for them to tell me that I was apparently liable to pay for a locksmith to come and change the locks AND had the audacity to say that I had to give them a spare key once the locks were changed. After I got back into my flat I checked the keys for the old lock next to eachother and they were completely different meaning they never had a key that even fit the old lock and clearly hadn’t checked before I moved in. Awful experience and won’t be trusting them for the rest of my tenancy.

I have recently sold my house through them. After careful consideration I have decided to leave them a negative review. Here are my reasons. I usually work night shifts in a challenging job, hence I sleep during the day which is why I had asked them and especially Imogen, who was dealing with my case, not call me, whenever they called me, I told them to send me an email instead and I would get back to them at my earliest convenience. However, months after that I keep getting calls. I had to repeat myself like a broken taperecorder, please don't call me, please send me an email in the future. I had to complain to the manager Paul and then the calls stopped. No one from your move turned up for the viewings, I feel the coronavirus was being used as an excuse not to turn up. I had to again raise this matter with the manager Paul, following this they turned up for some of the viewings. On one occasion a potential buyer had made an offer, I tried to accept the offer and a few days later I was told this person does not have the funds, so proper checks were not carried out on this person before this offer was passed onto me. The people at the top of the chain required the purchase to complete on a certain date, I had forwarded this email onto Imogen and this information was not passed on to my buyer. I feel a good agent should have made a note of this date, and passed this information to the buyer. As a result of this there was unnecessary panic in the end which could and should have been avoided. My solicitors thought the buyer was dragging his feet, however I felt yourmove kept defending him as he is an investor. He will probably buy more properties through them. The buyer also wanted to carry out a simultaneous Exchange and Completion as he was concerned about his bank not being able to release funds on time, yourmove was ok with this and was requesting the people at the top of the chain to agree to this. My solicitors suggested I do not agree to this as a lot could go wrong, especially as I am moving from south east London to Aylesbury, I could be stranded there with my removals company. I said no to this, hence at times I felt your move does not have the best interest of their clients in mind. There are a couple of other things I am not happy about however I will give them the benefit of doubt. However, on a positive note Imogen is very prompt with her emails and usually get back to you within the hour. People are paying a lot of money to buy or sell a house and if they receive this level of service it is not ok. So, although they seem to be a friendly bunch they need to improve their service, but I feel they have a long way to go.
