Highly recommend Urban Spaces

I first met Egle in 2019. She provided a valuation of my property and remained in contact until I was ready to sell my London flat in 2022. Egle provided me with advice about how to handle my tenants who were living in the flat - before it went on the market. Within 8 days of my flat going on the market in central London, I had an offer at the guide price. The sale completed within 3 months of the offer and the new owners moved in. Urban Spaces set up a whatsapp group to keep in contact with me at all stages of the sale. I am extremely appreciative of their help in selling my flat and have no hesitation in recommending them.

If you are a landlord, stay away from these people as their are the most incompetent property management team. Proceeded with extremely expensive works (£6k) without asking for my green light. Then let my property to a succession of very low quality tenants who ruined the place. Were extraordinarily slow, and at times totally inconsistent, at responding to my queries as to how they planned on improving the situation. Were incapable of turning around quickly the necessary repairs after the last disastrous tenants left, making me lose several months of rent. Their only excuse was that they were understaffed. Had to raise an official complaint for things to finally get moving, even though again so slow I gave up and paid some repairs myself using my own contractors. Utterly abysmal service.

If I could give just half a star I would. We have received terrible communication from Urban Spaces since our tenancy ended in August regarding the detention of our deposit: when property management have responded it has been unclear and at times contradictory. It appears that there is a staffing issue which has meant replies and communication have been fragmented and often unfinished. From reading previous Google reviews it is clear that other people have also had issues with the property management team (please scroll down). As well as this, throughout the tenancy our fence was broken for over six months despite us asking for it to be fixed on multiple occasions. I would not recommend their services.
