Terrible company falsely advertise properties and make vulnerable single parents with 2 young kids pay for the holding deposit to give you a unreasonable tenancy agreement 9 issues I had with the tenency half I was told to ignore as they are for flats and it is a standard tenancy🚩 who signs a legal document to ignore half!! I then had to push for over a week for a refund after they broke the law multiple times i told them I would go to the onbudsman they then stated a refund would be issued and received within 30 days. It is now past the 30 days and still no refund has been received. They have kept my money since the 10th april it is now the 25th May! Disgusting company discusting staff! Sian and tom I will see you both in court! Stay away id rather catch covid than deal with this company again

Purplebricks is a scam As a hard working father please Don't be fooled, ignore all the positive comments as they are mostly generated by fake accounts. The company doesn't care if it sells your property. The booking system purposely doesn't work and after a period of time they try to get you to auction your house so that they receive a bigger percentage of the sale agreement. Its "WIN ,WIN" for them as All they do is just lock you in to a contract and wait. Because they get there money in the end. All communication is done through what I can only describe as an "OVER SEA CALL CENTRE". The correspondence from the staff are illiterate, incompetent and unprofessional. There is a reason why the BBC had purplebricks on watchdog warning people of this company. See other platforms and social media experiences it's awful. Don't get scammed.

The representative came to see our property on time and explained the advertising process clearly-it's slightly different to the traditional estate agent process. We decided, in the end, to use a traditional agent simply because it suited our particular (unusual) situation better but we will consider Purple bricks again should we ever need an Estate Agent again.

GoogleI engaged Purplebricks to market my property (instructed 13 Jan 2026; live 25 Jan 2026) and the experience was unacceptable from start to finish. They will sell you something from an experienced person which seems incredible, but after that the engagement is shocking and poor. • Persistent lack of communication: Multiple emails to my assigned sales contact were ignored. • Missed appointment: A call scheduled did not happen; there was no prior notice and no meaningful apology. • Hosted viewings paid for but didn’t happen: I paid £549 for hosted viewings; nobody turned up. • Incorrect listing details and slow fixes: Service charges were listed incorrectly and the map pin was in the wrong location, both issues took weeks to correct despite being flagged before the advert went live. • Hidden friction for buyers: It was not disclosed at point of sale that prospective viewers must create an account to book viewings, which created avoidable barriers and likely reduced interest. Over 5,000 advert clicks. But only 1 viewer! They seemed to think there was nothing wrong with this and kept putting it down to the price of my property. I believe it was the hidden friction. They do not follow up on enquires, instead just send a link to create an account to their portal. • Poor complaints handling: I submitted a formal complaint on 17 Feb and on 10 Mar 2026 (the 15th working day) received an email saying “we are still investigating” with no substantive findings. Their final offer was £650 (including the £549 hosted‑viewing refund), which is far short of the £1,667.20 I paid and did not address the wider failures. Result: wasted time, missed opportunities to market my property properly, and a complaints process that dragged on with no meaningful remedy. I cannot recommend Purplebricks to anyone based on my experience. Go anywhere else and you will gain a better service than this.

GoogleWhy Google can not leave O star ⭐ , This Company Purple Bricks does not deserve even 1 star ⭐, I am so disappointed with purple bricks service , please do not use them to sell your house and buy house I have worst experience with purple bricks, I have contacted local purple brick sales agent Hadi Nazzari to sell my property back in September 2024 , he forwarded my contact details to Simon Mercer , Simon called and he made video call and did property valuation, I signed up for pay on completion which was £1799 , they said they are going to list my property until 6 months and if they do not sell within that period they will decide either keep on the market or off the market, my account manager was Taaliyah Chetty, some of the buyers were interested to buy my property but they never call back to buyer and ask about negotiations and never get in touch with them, even customer service is very poor when seller tried to contact related person sometimes they are off and not responding calls and messages. In April 2025 after 6 months terms finished but they never offer me to keep my property in the market and they never explained about £300 charges to remove the property listing from the market, I was on annual leave for a month they keep showing on the market my property without my consent and communication, so I had to remove the listing off the market and asking for £300 fees even they have not done anything, not only that they never explained about fees to remove from the market, they just want your money for doing nothing, I have tried to contact Simon he is ignoring my calls and messages, emails even account manager Taaliyah can not remove my property from the market, I have called the office and asked to look my case with senior management team but they asked me to go through compliant process, I did made file complaint on 23rd May I am still waiting for response until now , they do not bother. This property agents need to be investigated they are not here for service just for money. I have worst experience when I was looking to buy property back in 2021 , drove from London 40 miles away but no one was in the property, just wasted my time and petrol but I was thinking may be selling is good with them but worst experience I ever had in my life , please find some screenshots of my message which has not been replied and ignored, there is call history which they ignored. Guys don’t make full your self avoid using this purple bricks property agent to sell and buy your property. May be they will claim this review that they do not have my details but they have my all details you can see clearly in the text and email screenshots. Avoid avoid avoid purple bricks 🧱

I am astounded of the service from Purple Brics sales advisor. The whole Purple Brics workers were amazing, however the advice we got from sales advisor was a game changer. Tim Hartles- the sales advisor demonstrated us amazing strategy for house sale. Thanks to him we made approximately £ 25 000 more from our house. We had 3 estate agents visiting our house who gave us much lower price. However we gave the chance to Purple Brics and it was spot on!

I write this review in respect of Carla Zammit. This lady has been dealing with me the last two days on behalf of purple bricks. I would like to congratulate purplebricks for having such an asset. The sheer knowledge professionalism of this lady is an absolute credit to purple bricks. She has been amazing the last two days with her knowledge communication and works skills are at a new level she has been nothing but amazing in everything she has done for me from start to finish and made everything so easy. Due to the manner in which this lady has gone about her work I would have not queries coming back again for further work or rental accommodation with purple bricks based on this lady and how well treated I was by her. We are always very quick to criticize staff and people but not so quick to praise them so well done purple bricks for having someone like this on your team and thank you for letting her deal with myself it’s been great

GoogleThis company is really bad our offer was accepted but they didn't take the property off the market and some one gave extra commission then they gave the property to other person also we gave all our information and they took id check money and they are frauds and we had our mortgage done and we had to pay our fees to solicitor too and now they won't pay my money back to me and they took £609 pounds from me also very bad experience with purple brick because i was disappointed
