We used Indigo Greens to sell a property after a bereavement. It was all very smooth and straightforward. The selling price was 1k different to their original estimate, they know the market. Using WhatsApp to keep updated made things much quicker and is great to sort out any queries that come up. Friendly bunch too!

Best estate agent in York in my opinion. A small team so you get a bespoke service. Any queries I had were answered within the hour either by phone or WhatsApp. Special shout out to Izzy who worked diligently with other estate agents and solicitors to secure the sale of our property. I would 100% recommend this company.

We were delighted with the service from the team when we sold our house, they were fantastic at addressing any concerns we had along the process. Simon priced the house exactly right and we had an offer in a week! Then Izzy and Emma were so wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!

We have now bought and sold through Indigo Greens and would recommend them to anyone looking to use an estate agent. All the team are so helpful and I felt I could really trust them. There was great communication throughout, letting me know where the sale is in the process, couldn’t fault them. Thank you all again!

We had a really excellent experience with Indigo Greens, and in particular with Emma, who supported me and my wife throughout our property search in York. Emma gave us an honest, realistic overview of the local market, including clear advice about price ceilings in certain areas and how future developments might affect value. This kind of straight-talking guidance was incredibly helpful and refreshing, especially in what can otherwise feel like a very opaque process. She was extremely knowledgeable and offered practical, thoughtful tips about how to find the kind of property we were looking for. That advice proved instrumental in us eventually finding the right place. Although the property we found wasn’t listed with Indigo Greens, the support and insight we received along the way made a real difference. Indigo Greens are a fantastic team, and Emma in particular went above and beyond. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy or rent in York.

Buying a house has always been our biggest dream, and we know that when difficulties arise, that dream can easily turn into a nightmare. Fortunately, the agency made everything much easier for us. Since we do not speak English very well, from the very first email we were met with great kindness and patience. They did everything they could to make us feel comfortable at every stage. Always aware of our challenges, they were constantly available for any explanation, responded quickly to our messages, and stayed in regular contact, which greatly simplified the whole buying process. From the very beginning, they shared in our happiness and experienced the joy of purchasing the house as if it were their own. We are deeply grateful for all their work, dedication, and care. With the help of the Indigo Greens team, our dream became a reality, in a way even more special than we had imagined. A big thank you to the whole team.

Indigo Greens have been fantastic throughout a very prolonged and complicated purchasing process. I'd especially like to praise Emma & Izzy. They were very responsive and took the time to explain things to me every stage of the way. The business itself also operated with a surprising amount of transparency, and I was made aware of details which really allowed me to feel that communication between all parties was stellar. More importantly, they felt earnestly pleasant to speak to, and that at the end of the day, they were nice people who were allowed to be nice people by their workplace. More unique to my situation, even when there was a clear disagreement in opinion on how to proceed, Emma & Izzy were ultimately very understanding and respectul of the decisions made by myself & my conveyancer. I can't think of any higher praise than to repeat this: They had ample opportunity to try and push much more aggressively for a different action. Instead, they took the more labourious route of discussing and trying to understand both sides, and then accepted my conveyancer's decision. Indigo Greens, particularly Emma & Izzy, did this with the understanding that it was going to further complicate their work. When it was clear that I was siding with my conveyancer, they very respectfully carried on the work, with the same care and efficiency as they'd done so far. Frankly, the culture required to enable this level headedness is rare in any team! I hope that they continue to operate with this level of care, responsiveness, and transparency. I think, in my limited experience, that would make them the best in York.

Amazing service from Indigo Greens Estate Agents, super-fast pictures and listing all professionally done which helped us sell our house with only 3 viewings! Always informative and courteous, gave advice and suggestions, made the process so simple and ensured our minds were at ease, we didn’t feel pressured at any point. Special shout out to Izzy, absolute star went out of her way to deal and take ownership of issues not within her remit with 3rd parties which were not taking their own initiative thus meaning with the drive and commitment from Izzy enabled us to have smooth transactions. We would 100% recommend to friends and family. Well done team, keep up the exceptional work. Nicola and Michael

From start to finish AMAZING! Simon came and valued my house, he was so approachable and helpful with all my questions, he had an excellent knowledge of the area. Emma was fab, she came to do the 360 tour and was also extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I sold my house within a couple of weeks just before Christmas which every said was a quiet time. I only had 2 viewings and it was done. Everything ran so smoothly afterwards with Izzy on the case - she kept me informed and was so quick to respond. I honestly could not recommend the team more highly.

Absolutely first class service, proving that biggest isn't always the best. After a less than good experience with a larger agent with many branches, Simon and his team restored our faith in the process. I can't put into words how understanding and supportive they were. Encouraging, professional and flexible throughout. Thank you Indigo Greens.

Indogo Greens, a modern estate agent that works really hard on your behalf and worth every penny! The marketing for our house was superb, the photos and virtual tour looked stunning and the write up gave a great picture of amenities around the location. The team at Indigo Greens are ultra professional without being pretentious and keep you well informed every step of the way. When my mum decided to put her house on the market, I didn't hesitate to recommend them to her, and I'm happy to report that she is also having the same experience so far.
