We need to respond to this review as its completely out of kilter with nearly all the others received, we pride ourselves in providing a great service to our clients Firstly, please note that we have never been instructed to represent Miss Golledge in the sale or letting out of any property. We were employed by the seller of the property for which Miss Golledge was the purchaser. Therefore, we have a commercial contract with the seller, and not Miss Golledge. However, we proceeded to spend 4 months assisting this buyer and provided a free service to her in terms of assistance as it seems her own solicitor wouldn’t engage directly with her ( we now understand why ).We went far beyond what most other agents would deem to be reasonable. To provide some background information, the property in question that we were selling to Miss Golledge was an unproblematic, two-year-old freehold house with no chain. The facts A single member of staff sent and received a total of 79 emails whilst in communication with this client and her solicitor, throughout the duration of the purchase. An additional and separate staff member sent an additional 12 emails, dealing with additional requests and enquiries from this purchaser. A total of 6 viewings were provided to this buyer and she was accompanied at the property each time , including two appointments to assist the buyer in measuring rooms for her furniture and curtains . We also spent time assisting this buyer with her own sale, despite the fact that we were not the agent employed to represent her, as her own solicitor it seems either refused to communicate with her and keep her updated or preferred not too We also met with the buyer at her request just before completion to demonstrate how the keys worked !!! ( door keys !!!) , We also sent over information on how to change energy suppliers and provided council office contact numbers so that Miss Golledge could sort her council tax documents ( all this information was available on google ). We provided details of gas boiler engineers when Miss Golledge had trouble with the boiler 10 days after the completion.( we are still not sure why she thought it was us she needed to contact ). In fact her demands for assistance went on until out of necessity we finally ceased communication after Miss Golledge continued to contact us with questions regarding the property some three months after the completion of the sale. Throughout the entirety of the transaction, Miss Golledge was incredibly demanding, rude, curt and verbally abusive to multiple members of our staff, and had unreasonable expectations regarding the service we should be providing to her throughout her purchase . ( remember she was not our client ) During two separate incidents, Miss Golledge reduced our 17-year-old office junior to tears, after our junior informed Miss Golledge that the sales manager was not immediately available to speak to her due to being a meeting. On another occasion Miss Golledge made some very derogatory comments which upset our office accountant who had intervened and tried to assist her . As a result of her behaviour , our sales manager made the decision eventually to request that all further communication be sent via email, in order to protect our staff members and provide an audit trail as her requests became more un reasonable . We feel that this review was posted purely out of malice and spite, in an attempt to damage our reputation. We ask that you consider the other 60 plus positive reviews, which highlight the satisfaction of both our buyers and sellers, and draw your own conclusions as to whether or not any one could rely on this review to be accurate and fair . This person really is an exception in terms of our customer outcomes , please remember this . we would advise any other business reading this review to consider what she has done here in terms of leaving a mis leading review before taking her on as a client .

Hi Thomas, Your review is very unfair and misleading, as you know, we don’t own this property, we manage it for the landlord. Since you have moved in we have done our best to help you and have acted as a go-between for you and your landlord. We can’t carry out work on this property unless the landlord authorises it. The staff member you emailed was on a day off and it’s unreasonable for you to expect an immediate response to your emails at all time. No one has avoided you and communication has been fine. Please note that staff here are more than entitled to a day off, therefore, an email not being responded to for 24 hours is acceptable, especially as we responded to you within an hour of the staff member’s return. To say we are awful is very unreasonable and also demotivating for the staff here. We can’t give you everything you want, it’s not our decision which you, of course know that, so we can only assume you have given us a bad review because you are frustrated that you can’t get what you want. Since you have moved in you’ve had a new cooker supplied, delivered and fitted by your landlord, the ceiling roses have been re-attached where necessary and your landlord has agreed to supply a new shed as the replacement for the existing damaged shed in the garden. We are aware that the shower that is not working is booked in for repair and that the landlord has booked in his own operatives to get this work done. We really do look out for our tenants but we are not always able to get work done and authorised immediately as it’s not always in our control. We ask that for anyone reading this review, please make your own decision on how relevant this review is, we believe it was a review made in spite and frustration and was designed to elicit a favourable response when in reality it will probably have exactly the opposite response with the staff here and has little bearing on the reality of the situation.
