Since the day my house went up for sale Lorraine & the team were extremely helpful and compassionate. I believe it was one of the longest house sales they’ve had (not through any fault of theirs) yet they always remained positive and happy to host as many viewings as needed to get the home sold. Money loss and poor professionalism

My experience with Abbotts Rental Agency was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Not only did they fail to return our advance rent payment in a timely manner after vacating the home, but they also didn't support us in claiming it back from the landlady, resulting in a loss of our money. Additionally, they neglected to back up the deposit properly and unjustly deducted exorbitant amounts, citing unnecessary expenses such as £710 for cleaning and double payment for tap replacement. This lack of transparency and fair treatment is unacceptable, highlighting Abbotts Rental Agency's disregard for their customers' rights and financial well-being.

Lorraine Marshall is our contact for our current sale and also was for the previous sale that happened just 15 months ago. She has been very focussed and helpful and has made our expirence of moving house as stress free as possible. At a time when moving is both fraught with stress and also expensive, it is good to have her helping us through the experience. We had a problem in losing our buyer, but Lorraine was great and found us a new buyer almost straight away. Since then things have progressed despite us losing out on properties we were hoping to buy. She was very supportive throughout without being at all demanding.

Lorraine, Sam and her team should be commended in their efforts to procure the sale of our converted barn, which has proved to be a long and sometimes frustrating process. Our gratitude extends to their methods of communication. In particular, always making themselves available for that 'personal touch,' which in our case usually means a 1-2-1 drop into the branch without notice. Along with regular communiques inc texts, phone calls, mails, all vital when things seem not to be going as expected! Finally a special thanks for their resourcefulness when dealing with 'outside' organisations not normally associated with Estate Agents. Forget 'fixed price' agencies! As you DO NOT get this level of support!
