I have the unique experience of both selling and buying a property through this Estate Agents. On both occasions I have been very impressed with their attention to detail and ability and willingness to solve problems. My most recent experience has been the purchase of my current home, which completed in late September. I was a cash buyer, had already sold my previous home and was renting in Norfolk. On the face of it, some might say, the perfect buyer. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for the vendor of the property I wanted to buy. She turned out to be extremely difficult, unable (or reluctant) to find a suitable property to buy and completely unwilling to discuss or commit to a time-line so that I could make plans. After months of this behaviour, during which time she went AWOL - taking her annual holiday - there were times when I was sorely tempted to walk away. It felt as though this state of limbo could go on indefinitely and the vendor just didn't care. However, I persevered, and kept extending my rental agreement. Throughout these months I was supported and encouraged to hang on a little longer by the staff of Abbotts, particularly Lorraine Marshall who did her utmost (and succeeded) to find a suitable property for my vendor. I have nothing but the highest praise and regard for Lorraine and her colleagues, and would encourage anyone, either wishing to sell a property or looking for something in the area, to make contact with them. They are friendly, trustworthy and really go the extra mile to try and ensure as smooth a transaction as possible. Let's not forget moving home can be a really stressful experience and there are times when a sympathetic ear is greatly appreciated. I may have come up against the vendor from Hell but lived to tell the tale and wish to thank Lorraine and her staff for going the extra mile for me to ensure I got to the finishing line! The team at Abbotts in Wymondham, namely Lorraine, Ayesha and Harrison, were always very positive about our house sale. They guided us through all the ups and downs of selling our house...and we certainly had to call on their support many times!! Lorraine always had a "can do" approach; she believed that there was nothing that couldn't be sorted and always tried to resolve any issues quickly. .Ayesha and Harrison were very professional, friendly and always seemed to form an excellent rapport with all the people they showed around our property. We are very thankful that we had such a good team to work with and we would certainly recommend them.

Had a great experience working with Lorraine and the team at Abbotts when I needed to market and sell my late Mothers home. The situation was more complicated as I now live overseas, but Abbotts did the heavy lifting and worked expertly on this without needing a lot of time from me. Had to sell a property quickly and, after some lacklustre responses, ended up in the Abbotts Wymondham branch speaking to Lorraine who took the sale on. Everything was handled professionally. Even when the inevitable potholes in the road appeared Lorraine kept a tight grip on the wheel. The office team worked well together so I always felt able to speak to someone who could find relevant information quickly. I would be happy to use Abbotts in the future.

We brought a bungalow from a seller using Abbott’s at the beginning of the year. Tim @ Kings Lynn branch truly went above & beyond for us. He attended extra viewings, even on his Saturday day offs. He kept us updated as to progress. But above all else he was in constant contact with the seller & their solicitor, pushing them along to get the sale through in the timeframe we needed. He made endless phone calls, got involved in paperwork where he had no obligation to & was always on the end of the phone when we needed him. Would recommend Tim to anyone. Very knowledgeable and helpful. They prioritised sending the right person round rather than the number of people they sent round. Then, after we sold they were very helpful in the conveyancing process. They have a specific department for that who was able to explain things when I was unsure and to liaise with solicitors and the other agents. When problems arose they were key in resolving it and finding the right solution. While we worked mainly with Joanna from Thorpe Bay we also had a lot of help from Amy on the after sale. They have also continued to support us after the sale.

Abbotts Wymondham branch were great throughout a very frustrating and drawn out process. It was not the most simple of sales/purchases and they were also left negative reviews because I had bought the property over reviewer. That is unfair as they were kind & compassionate regarding the circumstances. I am grateful to the team helping me relocate from Essex with advice on schools etc. We are settling in our home but would definitely use them again if we move again. Knock, knock. Who's There? ...No-one!

I can't truly rate the service because I've had none! I've tried for over a week to get some information on a property listed in their Stowemarket branch. I've left messages, I've emailed, I've used the chatbox, the contact form and made 4 phone calls, which no one answered or responds to the recorded messages I've left. I phoned a bigger branch who told me they would contact the branch and get them to call me....nothing. Not a peep. I started this a week ago, because I'm in Suffolk at the weekend and wanted to arrange a viewing. I've had to give up and make other plans. There is clearly something wrong with their communications dept. If they have one!?!

Lorraine and her team have been fantastic in selling my elderly parents property. Sadly my Dad suddenly had to go into care, and I moved my frail mother to be closer to me which is two hours away from Wymondham…. leaving the property empty. I need not have worried, the staff did recorded weekly checks to comply with insurance requirements, they arranged plenty of viewers and got us a good price- the staff even went and collected vital documents needed for conveyancing to save me a long drive- very kind and thoughtful. We had a bit of stress getting exchanged but Lorraine was onto it straight away- the new owners moved in yesterday. Thank you SO MUCH to you all at Wymondham office, you made a difficult situation much easier- we are eternally grateful. Xx

I didn't sell through this branch but was referred to the mortgage broker at the branch, Chelsie. I am so glad I was, it was so easy and stress free it was unbelievable. All the heavy lifting was done for me and it all went through extremely quickly. She also helped organise a home buyers survey on my purchase property which was performed very quickly too. I found her to be very friendly and helpful and by listening well and using her experience was very good at tailoring the available mortgages to my needs. There was definitely no hard sell and coming away with more than i needed or anything i didn't need which was really pleasing as I have experienced that before. She was very easy to talk to and ask questions and also someone I could talk too when things were getting stressful elsewhere with my moving process which was much appreciated . So yes she was very good all round. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
