Let was initally agreed holding deposit paid everything to this point is 5 stars. Let fell through no fault of my own, due to failing referencing, offered alternatives like 6 months rent upfront. Let fell through which is fine. Told holding deposit would be refunded to me within 5 days. Currently on day 15 and no refund and no definte answer to when this will be returned, had this been gicen back within the time frame or informed it was delayed i would rate higher. But due to witholding my money and no clear answers still as to when i have to rate the lowest because of this. Once this has been returned to my account i will amend my review to 3 stars!!

We have recently sold our home with Beresford Adam’s, and although stressful, the service has been excellent and well worth slightly higher selling fee. Lauren, Laura and the team put so much time into each client, it really feels personal. Lauren has been our main point of contact through the process, and she was an absolute dream. She chased every query, answered every question, gave so much reassurance and support when enviable bumps came along the way, we honestly can’t thank her enough. I just wouldn’t bother with the in house solicitors again, definitely find your own local!

We recently sold and purchased a home through Beresford Adams, and the service was nothing short of exceptional. As with any property transaction, there were a few bumps along the way, but Lauren was absolutely brilliant throughout. She kept us calm and informed, always staying positive and offering sound advice. What truly set Lauren apart was her compassion and dedication during a very difficult time, my father passed away during the process, and she went above and beyond to ensure I was supported whilst I was dealing with family matters. Her professionalism, empathy, and unwavering support made all the difference. Thanks to Lauren, Laura, Alecia and Holly, both our sale and purchase were completed. I Wouldn’t be able to go in to full details of all excellent work Megan did throughout the whole purchase of the property as this review would take a while to read. At one point the purchase didn’t look like it would go through due to the Vendors solicitors not being cooperative. Megan chased every query up and resolved the matter to a successful conclusion. I genuinely believe if it wasn’t for Megan’s professionalism, tenacity, perseverance and wanting to do a good job the purchase wouldn’t have gone through. Thanks Megan, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to others.

Absolutely amazing experience with Beresford Adams when buying our new house. I think we dealt with nearly everyone in the office at some point, all of which were super professional and helpful. It was quite a long and complex purchase but the team helped us every step of the way and really made us feel like they cared. A particular shout out to Laura who I think I called multiple times a day towards the end, but she was always incredibly patient and happy to take my calls. Would definitely recommend :)

⭐ 1 star Extremely poor experience with Beresford Adams Wrexham. Communication was consistently bad, promises were not followed through, and I felt completely unsupported throughout the process. Simple issues took far too long to resolve, and I often had to chase repeatedly for basic updates. Overall, this was stressful and disappointing, and I would not use this agency again. Despite being fully aware that a formal complaint has been logged with the Property Ombudsman, they have continued to use pressurising and intimidating tactics to demand payment of the remaining balance. Rather than waiting for the complaint to be properly reviewed, I was repeatedly chased in a way that felt aggressive and unprofessional. This approach added unnecessary stress and showed a complete lack of respect for the complaints process. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Beresford Adams are just bullies!!

I strongly advise against using this agency to manage any property. In my experience, they have consistently demonstrated a complete lack of capability in handling even basic responsibilities. From withholding funds without clear explanation, to failing to take or provide accurate meter readings, their service has been disorganised and frustrating. Every time you contact them for information, no one seems to know what’s going on, and promises of a callback are rarely, if ever, fulfilled. There is a clear lack of accountability, with staff turnover so high that it's impossible to know who is managing what. You’re constantly being passed from one person to another with no resolution in sight. In short, they are not equipped to manage properties in a professional or reliable manner. AVOID at any cost !!!!

The service we have had so far from Beresford Adams in Wrexham has been first rate, particularly from our agent, Alice Lofts, and the branch manager, Liz Miller-Eccleston. Alice efficiently and accurately valued our house, and, with the aid of extremely professional photography from Peter, quickly put together attractive sales particulars. The house was put on the market at the earliest opportunity and our first request for viewing came within the hour. Alice has kept us informed of every development and even contacted the estate agent of the property we wish to buy to keep them informed of progress. Liz has also taken a personal interest and both Alice and Liz have offered sound advice. They couldn’t have been more helpful.

Absolutely outstanding service from start to finish, Alice was so supportive and absolutely knows her stuff about the best way to market your property, she stayed in touch the whole way through and was always taking my calls and responding to my texts, with the most cheery manner we sold our house within 2 day of being on the market with this amazing company, Nathan was the main guy who sorted all our viewings, dealt with any offers and advised us every step of the way with what to do regarding the offers Nathan and I always had such a giggle and he always would ask how our new baby was. From our first contact with the Wrexham office we were amazed with the whole team who dealt with our sale. Everything was explained in detail and as we progressed it became very clear that our interests were in good hands. The virtual tour was absolutely brilliant and to my mind an essential addition. The photographer produced a great tour, floor plan and still photographs which complemented the property but were still accurate.
