What can I say about Jamie Bryant and his team at Robert Luff in goring that hasn’t already been said! They photographed, marketed and sold our house in Goring allowing us to move to Leicestershire even during the pandemic. They go way beyond the norm to ensure your property is marketed and presented in the most professional manner. Always striving to get your sale or purchase completed as quickly as possible even when things go awry, and always with the minimum of fuss to you. They certainly go to infinity and beyond wherever possible to chase up any other slow moving agents and solicitors in order to get you moving into your new home. Nothing is too much bother, they continually keep you updated with regard to your sale and subsequent purchase always setting your mind at rest and discussing any concerns with you. Always smiling and helpful, to be honest they become more a part of your family than just another Estate Agent and when you complete your move, they are happy to chat to you about the move and how it went. Their charges are reasonable but their advice and helpfulness is absolutely priceless. If you’re selling or buying I would certainly recommend Jamie Bryant and his team at Robert Luff in Goring as your agent of choice, in a word they were amazing.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I cannot praise Robert Luff in Goring highly enough. Dave and James were absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. They were hungry for my business and right from the first meeting it was clear they really knew their trade. They instilled a great sense of confidence and were always quick to respond to any questions I had, making sense of legal speak and providing the perfect middlemen between lawyers, purchasers and myself. They were extremely personable and always went the extra mile on everything. When the inevitable minor bumps in the road occurred, they were calm and reassuring and I was always left feeling I was in safe hands. Reflecting now, I think what impressed me the most was that not only were they excellent negotiators but they understood the importance of good client service. This is a truly professional outfit and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend their services to anyone buying or selling a property. A huge thank you to James Brown and his team, who have been excellent from start to finish. We used another agent before Luff’s and the experience wasn’t great. Despite a promising start it eventually took much longer than anyone expected but they were very accommodating and patient throughout. I am writing this disappointing feedback, maybe the agency will be more careful in the future about their agents when they send them to meet potential customers for viewings. Before the New Year, I found a propwrty for rent that looked spectacularly beautiful, with a pool, garage, good location, etc. Of course, at the market price. The description of the house mentioned "RECENTLY REDESIGNED". We applied for a viewing, but no one contacted us for 2 days, so we called the agency and arranged the viewing for January 7th. On the day of the viewing, someone from the agency called us to confirm the meeting once again and we were told that we would meet their manager at the property. We arrived at the street with the property and there was the first shock seeing that it was an unpaved and full of potholes access road. One of our cars is an Mercedes A45s AMG Sport, a low car. It was the ideal house, we could get over that because it was not the car I drive every day. We arrived 5 minutes early, the agent was almost 10 minutes late after the scheduled time. We were parked in the driveway waiting. Finally the manager appears and walks past us very quickly without making any contact or at least acknowledge our presence. Again, another red flag, when you try to rent a property for over £3000/month. We got out of the car and heading towards him, we looked at each other (my husband and I) because we didn't know what was happening. We didn't receive any welcome, he didn't apologize for being late, nothing! The manager was struggling to find the right key to unlock the door and with his back to us, he greeted us. Lacking manners and politeness, he finally invited us inside. During all this time, we could see that the gutters of the house (on the street) were loose in places and it was very clear how rainwater was seeping into the walls because they were damp and green, inside there was a very old smell of mould (if you know the smell of old books), walls full of mold, unpainted, the windows of the conservatory were fogged up between the two glasses, the backyard with the pool seemed effectively abandoned, unkempt. After these images, it made no sense to continue viewing and we told the manager that it was not “RECENTLY REDECORATED” at all and that that house was clearly not ready for rent. Of course, having no arguments, he told us that he would contact us the same day to show us other properties he has in his portfolio. Something that has never happened. We were not contacted, we did not receive any email, we did not receive any excuse that that house did not look anything like the pictures and that it did not look “RECENTLY REDECORATED”.

Great service, poor communication

Managed to get a viewing the same day I called which was great. I was told I'd be sent an application form but didn't receive one. After calling back the next day to chase the missing forms, I was told specific representatives allocated to the property would call me back. After no response for 2 hrs I called back where I was told I only get a form if the LL agrees to my req for application. I will update my review as I go through this process but so far the communication hasn't been great.

As a fellow agent, you won't find me posting too many reviews for my competitors. However, after working alongside David King at the Goring office on a particularly difficult chain , it's only fair that I give credit where it's due. David was superb in managing the lower end of one of the longest chains we've ever had (I was looking after the upper end). At his part of the chain he undertook any and all efforts to get not only his client's sale through, but everybody else's too, often making up for the shortfalls of the several agents between he and I. He was super efficient, pro-active, and constantly kept everyone in the loop. I was hugely impressed, and had complete confidence that with him overseeing this part of the chain we were in safe hands, and I could focus on my own part. This was already a complicated and difficult chain, but the fact that we managed to get it done at this time in particular was a huge achievement, and in no small part down to Dave's efforts. Thanks for all your help with this Dave, great working with you, and I hope our paths cross again soon.

I can not recommend the team in the Goring office highly enough, Jamie, Dave, Jack and Laura were all fantastic! My Nan & Grandad have just recently sold their family home of 51 years through the Goring branch and were also extremely lucky to have found their dream bungalow through them too (I wouldn’t want anyone else!!!). We were originally going to go with Purple Bricks but David won us around and sold our house on its first viewing! I never really thought about the work involved after the house was sold and i'm so glad I went with Robert Luff now as being able to pick up the phone or pop in and see them made everything so much easier. David was professional, friendly incredibly organised and efficient with not only the paperwork involved in selling our house but arranging viewings for us to buy as well. His approach to selling houses is so knowledgeable, professional but relaxed, he had answers to all our questions or found them out promptly, such a difference to others we met along our journey. I believe this is one of the reasons he is so successful because he really listens to what you want and matches you to a property. I've just completed the sale of my flat through the Goring branch. It was a bit of a drawn out process (through no fault of their own) and Jamie and the team were absolutely brilliant at sorting out all the twists and turns. I think that, without their diligence, perseverance and professionalism, we would never have got to completion.
