GoogleI highly recommend Jacob & Steele, in particular the Worthing High Street branch. My point of contact was Matt who guided me through the purchase of my new home. He was very professional, personable & hugely helpful in smoothing out the difficulties. Matt kept a close eye on things and made sure all went through on time. He & the rest of the team really were outstanding. Gregg came to the rescue when moving day went pear shaped and I didn’t arrive in Worthing until after 10pm. As a landlord, they very quickly had a shortlist for us of quality tenants, and dealt with the letting process effectively and professionally - we had a new tenant within our property in two weeks. We were also looking to rent ourselves - Ollie and Sophie were excellent, communication was good, and we moved very smoothly into our new home. GoogleReally happy that Jacobs Steel got the fee from my mum's flat. It was a long, difficult sale which sometimes happens with buyers pulling out. However they kept working hard, especially Luke, and in the end it was finally sold for a price we were happy with. Very professional and would highly recommend.

GoogleCannot rate highly enough our experience of dealing with Jacobs Steel, with particular mention of Sophie and Ollie. We were given notice by our previous landlords somewhat unexpectedly just two days before going on a cruise in the Caribbean. After a false start with another agent we contacted Jacobs Steel whilst still away and arranged a viewing for the day we flew back to the UK. Despite us being somewhat bleary eyed for the viewing and the chaos that was starting to occur around us due to Covid 19 Sophie was enthusiastic in showing us around the property, which we fell in love with immediately. Despite the challenges that arose as lockdown was imposed just a few days later, everything went very smoothly with all further communication being done electronically. Each part of the transaction was dealt with professionally by Ollie, and we moved in exactly on the date originally proposed. We really cannot rate Jacobs Steel highly enough, and would thoroughly recommend renting through them.

I was stuck abroad in Covid crisis, and they made my life much easier by finding a new tenant and dealing with the rental of my house amazingly. GoogleMe and my partner had viewed numerous properties with different letting agents for the best part of this year, and Ollie at Jacobs Steel was by far the most helpful, transparent and easiest person to talk too. Finding our first home and moving during the Covid-19 crisis was very daunting, but we were guided through every step of the way with ease. Any questions we had were answered quickly and any problems we encountered were resolved almost immediately. GoogleWe are moving abroad and need to rent out our home whilst we are away. From the first time we met Ollie, we felt that he and Jacob Steel were people we could trust to do the right thing in ensuring everything goes smoothly. The photographs taken of the property were superb and Ollie's attention to detail and focus was excellent. We were lucky to find new tenants relatively quickly and any necessary follow ups were done in a timely manner with good updates along the way. There were some moving abroad specifics that needed to be followed up and Ollie ensured this was done too (all of us learning along the way)! Don't let the relatively 'newness' of Jacob Steel lettings put you off - they are professional and determined to do a good job for both parties. Highly recommended!

GoogleThank you to all the team at Jacobs Steel Lettings Broadwater office for securing us a tenant for our new rental property. Both us and our tenant had very specific requirements and a limited time frame and Ollie Whiting and Sophie Waller managed to get all the negotiations completed in time for all parties. We found them to be courteous, polite and knowledgable, they returned phone calls promptly, answered emails and the Contract were efficiently dawn-up/amended and transacted on time. We needed tradesmen promptly to prepare the property and the local office knowledge base was invaluable. We were also very pleased with the quality of Jacobs Steel's advertising that got us to this stage. All-in-all, a great job!
