This agency shares the same building and many of the same staff as Housebuyfast which looks like the trading name of Pure Acquisitions!?! It appears as though the agency exists to sell the properties which they purchase for below market value given that the statement on many of the properties they are selling is: "Under the terms of the Estate Agency Act 1979 (Section 21) please note that the vendor of this property is a close associate of an employee of "Future Planned Ltd", Get An Offer Estate Agents." I put in an offer for a property which had this statement attached which took over 2 days to get a response after I had chased. I said I'd like to hear back from the owner with my counter response and heard nothing back so a day later I went for another property with a responsive agent. I emailed them to inform them of this and the person I was dealing with had a full email box so it bounced back immediately with a sister companies details all over it. My thoughts after dealing with them are that they are slow and unresponsive with awful I.T. I have literally no idea why anybody would use them apart from them using themselves to sell their own properties? Maybe because they want to give their property away? Maybe because they don't want their estate agent to communicate with purchasers? A strange operation for a member of the public to use when the alternatives are so much better.
Thank you for your feedback which, good or bad, we always appreciate, we aim to offer the best service we can. You have brought up a number of points which am happy to respond to. I am sorry you didn’t feel your offer was dealt with quickly enough but as we explained, the seller lives overseas, so it can take a day or two to get a response and in view of the low amount offered, compared to what the seller had paid some years before, they were slower than expected to reply, I’m afraid. I did explain back to you in an email 48 hours after your offer that the seller is willing to accept less than he purchased the property for, and gave you a figure to consider. You explained to us that you where not willing to increase you offer at this stage which is of course your prerogative. We have addressed the IT issue with email and I am sorry that this caused you a problem. My apologies once again if you feel things moved slowly for you, please feel free to contact me again to discuss anything further. Kind Regards, Tom Cranenburgh.

I recently purchased my property through this estate agent and have to admit they have been very efficient at all times and have given excellent customer service at all times. I have been dealing with Ray and have been extremely satisfied with the level of service in which I have received so far. Get An Offer Estate Agent would be an agent of my recommendation.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

I would just like to say that Having tried to sell my property with numerous estate agents for the last 9 years with no viewings from any of them whatsoever I was totally frustrated. Then a miracle happened, I came across the estate agent GET AN OFFER so I thought I have nothing to lose, I contacted Tom Cranenburgh and Lewis Foster for help. I was astounded when only after 3/4 months I had a buyer, and within 6 months the property was sold. I was delighted to have finally sold so I could retire. The moral of the story is you don,t have to stay local to sell your property, when GET AN OFFER as based in Worthing. That says a lot for local estate agents after 9 years of frustration. Brilliance and courtesy from Get an Offer staff is definitely without a doubt got to be 100%.
Hello Mr Wilson, Many thanks for your kind words, I’m really pleased we managed to get your home sold after your failed attempts. All the best for the future. Tom.

Hollow promise to sell swiftly. During entire duration of their contract not a single viewing . Complete waste of valuable time.

We have just had our offer accepted! We have been dealing with Ray who has been so helpful at arranging the viewing and dealing with the vendors, also signposting us to conveyancing services. So far so good. We're very happy with the service and hope it continues to run smoothly!
Thank You for your kind words, Sarah.

They don't even deserve one star. The most awful bunch of estate agents I have ever come across. Highly unprofessional, poor service and will lie about anything to get hands on your money. The agents are rude and patronising. When I refused to use their solicitors and brokers (who quoted ridiculous amounts!!), this agent 'Tom' threatened that the only reason 'Get an offer' agreed on a sale with me was because I was using their in house brokers/ solicitors??!! After wasting four months and spending thousands of pounds on getting a mortgage, valuation, solicitor fees, broker fees etc they could not provide information on where or who the freeholder of the property is and eventually turned out that the property freeholder was 'missing/absent'. They advertised the property as a share of freehold, and my solicitor later discovered it's actually leasehold. So the agents were lying about the property being a freehold all along just so they can get a quick sale. If you are a first time buyer and looking for efficient service then AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Many thanks for your feedback Nad Z, I can see you are frustrated by this process but please see our comments below in response: Firstly, we do not take money from buyers or sellers at any stage, unless a sale completes. We work on a “No sale No fee basis” and don’t tie in sellers to our service which means we must work hard to get a sale to complete to earn our fees. The reason we recommend you to use our suggested Solicitor is they also work on a “No Sale No Fee Basis” like ourselves, so if for any reason a sale doesn’t complete you won’t be charged any fees. Most people don’t address this until they have had a bad experience where a sale falls through and I was simply trying to advise you that your chosen Solicitor will charge you a fee whether this purchase completed or not. Furthermore it is fact that more sales go on to complete if you use the services an estate agent recommends. The property in question was put on the market under market value as the seller needed a rapid sale and completion. After you had viewed the property and made an offer we had a number of other offers on the table but you were chosen above these as you had a mortgage agreed and were happy to complete the sale within 28 days. The apartment is Leasehold but it transpired that the Freeholder was absent so the Leasehold questionnaire wasn’t available. An indemnity policy to cover the absent freeholder was offered too you along with a further reduction on the sale price but you decided not to proceed. We hope you have gone on to find a more suitable property and we did manage to re-sell the property within a few days and complete a sale. If you have any further questions or concerns please let me know. Kind Regards, Tom.

Very good service from viewing to completion
Tom was absolutely brilliant from the moment we viewed the property. He kept us up to date and always got back to us straight away if we messaged him for an update. Our purchase went through in 9 weeks which we were very happy with.

We put in an offer on a flat which was accepted. We clarified that there would be no extra charges for the new lease and in writing. Then about 1 week later the partner Tom Cranenburgh came on the scene and stated that this was not true they wanted an extra £ 16,000 to continue.

absolutley shockingly unprofessional service. Rude and arrogant staff who tried to lie to get us to increase our offer despite the vendor agreeing a price beforehand and then tried to gasump us along the process. On the day if exchange they tried to put a unerlateral notice on the land registry to block the sale!!! Who does that?!? Just AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Absolutley shocking and dodgy.NegativeProfessionalism
