Awful estates agents with no scruples who claim their aim is to achieve a quick sale when in fact they could have achieved a solid sale weeks ago. Weeks of time wasting encouraging me to increase my offer twice with the assurance further viewings would be cancelled. They back tracked, went ahead with the viewings and announced two more buyers now interested and it was a bidding war and a race to see who could reach exchange first!!!!!! Totally underhand and nasty game playing tactics. Calls are never returned. Very limited information on the property, back history to it didn’t add up either. Why would I book a full survey on a property at huge expense if I wasn’t sure beforehand the property was under offer to me. The incentive was that the seller would reimburse survey fees…lender survey fees! My lender survey is free! Then I could have the searches to the value of £350. The searches were over six months old so out of date - the cost for new ones £153! Had to keep ringing to find out where I stood with my offers, Repeatedly ringing to find out where I stood with my offers, there was a total lack of transparency.Claire was unresponsive and unable to find out any information I requested. Was initially told the property was sold to the sellers as a debt recovery to then be told the seller was a relocation service and it turns out GetAnOffer are in fact a trading name/company of the seller company.Tom, a partner complained at having to work late to get an email out!I didn’t confirm whether I intended to proceed with my offer or not and I never heard from them again! Awful customer service.

Avoid they scam you wanting you to use a broker and not a bank then sell it to someone else while waisting your time and money. Keep well away from lewis and dont fall for the fake reviews.

Very dubious company. All they want is to get access to your personal data.. Call handler told me they needed my postcode before they could arrange a viewing for security purposes .... as if knowing my postcode makes any difference to any risk assessment they might do.

GoogleDon't be taken in by they lies,poor service, they try a run people up on price so many buyers back out.this is not to get you more money but for them to get more.i have not been happy with feedback from buyer's. I now want to go with a new agent but they won't remove my house from there website or rightmove. Stay away from these fraudsters

This level of service continued across anyone that I dealt with in the company throughout the sale. Highly Recommend this company for buying or selling your next home.

Cannot rate Tom from Get an Offer any more! The day after viewing, Tom negotiated and agreed not only our offer (on my birthday!) but a whole chain and guided us all through to completion with no issues, he was always on hand for any questions and kept up an unexpected amount of communication. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Thank you Tom :)

GoogleEnquired about a house in Darwen. Agent rang and left a message. I called back and no answer. I text for the price and got the price, on the advert it showed as freehold…. When I checked land registry it showed leasehold. I messaged again to ask them to clarify… after reading the message I’ve received no response. If you want to sell a home…. Then find someone else to do it because this lot are awful.

The property we are offering in Darwen is currently Leasehold, but the vendor has made enquiries and we are offering the Freehold interest for £650 so, in effect the property will be Freehold on completion of the sale. To start with, when the company organised for a photographer to come around to take pictures of my property, they arrived (lovely lady) but it took a week for them to contact me to tell me the photos that the lady took were unable to be used because a wrong "lens" was used. At this point a week had gone by since I signed the contract and of course this company said they 95 percent gaurantee they could sell my house within 6 weeks.. anyway, I ended up having to take the photos of my house myself in the end because they were unable to get a response from the photographer as to when they could come to my house again.
