well, it's my moving day today from my rented flat into my new home no7 James Street worksop🙂 what's all the bad press about Estate agents??? my experience with Sarah & her lovely team couldn't have been more perfect!!!!, from day 1 they were on the ball & all through the stages of my purchase they kept me informed & updated!!! the week leading upto completion I went into a panic over my solicitor, I phoned sarah she calmed me down and took everything out of my hands & sorted it!! I'm a hard working single man and I find it hard dealing with things out of my comfort zone, thank God my new home was listed with Martin&co & especially Sarh & her happy team ❤a massive Thankyou regards Steve shipley

Stress?! What stress!! The communication from Miranda and the sales team was outstanding. I hear people saying buying a house is one of the most stressful things you ever do, to be honest I found it enjoyable, the team made sure I was constantly kept in the loop even if there wasn't an update! So friendly and happy to chat with you about anything, any queries were dealt with straight away, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to buy or sell a property with confidence, these guys are AMAZING!!

This branch does not work from a place of integrity and do not communicate well, not sure how they operate from a selling point of view but without even communicating withdrew an excepted offer from us saying that funds weren't available when they would have been if they had checked with us before accepting the offer from someone else. They should have spoken to us first but were to interested in chasing commission. Within 24hrs this problem could have been sorted out. Miranda perhaps should have checked with us before telling my wife that we were not honest, because other funds were available and it could have been sorted out if they had contacted us and communicated properly but Martin and Co Worksop threw the baby out with the bath water before checking, blaming us, our solicitors and even the vendor but never themselves. The whole process from sealed bids to the end outcome less than 48hrs after our offer being accepted smells off. Very unprofessional and underhanded way of doing business. If you have an issue you communicate it as more than often it can be sorted out easily. Property sales should never just be about the vendor but supporting the purchaser. Never assume that a buyer only has one stream of revenue, but you never even asked. Thank you very much. Rude, unprofessional and show a lack of understanding and and ability to communicate properly. Tread carefully if you use this branch because a smile doesn't always mean they have your best interests at heart.NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism

I saw a new build apartment online advertised in the Long Eaton area for a reasonable price. I proceeded to make the usual protocol- contacting the agency to arrange a viewing. The estate agent took my details and booked a viewing. When it came to the viewing, I rang before hand to confirm that my appointment was still on. It was confirmed that my appointment will be still going ahead and that the agent will meet me at the property. I made my way confidently to the property. I waited patiently in the cold and rain, eagerly awaiting to view the property. 10 minutes had passed, but no sign of the estate agent. I called the Martin and Co back. They then apologised and stated that they have no record of the viewing appointment. I was absolutely stunned and shocked at the level of confusion and unprofessionism that had just taken place. Especially, when I had made an extra effort to ensure that the appointment was still on, knowing that I was coming from a long way by public transport. Martin and Co then stated that they will booked and appointment 3 days later for me to view the property. After making a complaint to the manager, I  accepted their apology and agreed to booking another appointment. I had asked for an email confirmation of the appointment- which despite after two phone calls I did not receive. However, on the day of the viewing, I did get a courtesy call asking me to confirm whether I will be attending. I confirmed. I viewed the property and made an offer the following day. Fees were paid, ID's were produced and the referencing process started. During the referencing process, I had queries regarding referencing and the property. I found that the lady handling my file was very lax and and slow in dealing with things. Many occasions it took countless calls and messages for her to get back to me. She even advised me to hand in my notice to my current landlord, before confirming crucial information such as the building completion date. I stated that I did not want to put myself and my family in the position to become homeless. She advised "don't worry everything will be sorted out by then, just hand it in". Three weeks later, I received an email stating that there was a delay in the moving in date and they will confirm the new date shortly. Another email was sent a week later stating that the council had not signed off the new builds and unfortunately we will not be able to proceed with the move. We were informed that all fees paid will be refunded. As you can imagine, I was highly frustrated at the situation and also myself for not staying clear of Martin and Co from the outset. The warning signs of unprofessional conduct, unreliability and a lax attitude were present. I have sent several emails and made several calls and messages requesting for the refund to be completed and still no sign of Martin and Co refunding the money to us. I am deeply saddened, frustrated and appalled at the extremely poor service that I have received. I will be making a formal complaint and want to make others aware of this company. Please beware and stay clear.

Would off recommend but since Stuart has lefted we have had nothing but trouble with this house battling to get the repairs done!! Stuart made us comfortable with everything from signing to moving in he was always asking how everything is going n to see if we needed help with anything!!! Martin n co has seriously gone down hill we r still battling to get the damp work sorted which has been like this for nearly 6 months!! Still waiting on my toilet to be sorted and not leaking!! Still waiting on my boiler to be fixed!! With two kids this is stressful when they have got people to come out we haven’t been informed they have either turned up n let them selfs in my back garden or they’ve knocked on the door!!!! When ask Martin n co about this they don’t know anything or they never get back in contact with u they promise stuff will be done they promise to phone back but they never do!! So save urselfs the trouble don’t go with these because I will not be renewing my tenancy because it’s been nothing but stress since I have!!! All they want is ur money they don’t care how u have to live with two kids!!!!!!
