Kirstie was a fantastic agent, she supported us throughout the purchase of our first property, always on hand to answer our queries and assure us of any concerns we had. Kirstie was prompt to respond to our calls/emails and helped us immensely when we needed to chase our solicitors! As first time buyers we knew very little about the process and were understandably anxious. Kirstie made us feel confident and took time to talk us through the process. Kirstie was a pleasure to talk to and we wouldn't think twice about requesting her assistance in the future.

Kirstie was fantastic through the whole process. She was respectful of my job and called out of school hours and always returned calls and emails promptly. Nothing I asked was ever too much and she worked so hard between myself and the vendor. It wasn't always easy with the solicitors, but I felt she worked hard on my part to get everything sorted as quickly as possible. Thank you and I would definitely recommend Winkworth, Kirstie and Georgie to people in the future

My brother purchased through Winkworth before and highly recommended them when we were looking for a property. They had a very good choice of properties advertised and we were lucky to find our perfect home through them. The process from offer to completion however was not as straightforward and we faced many delays and issues due to chain, survey issues, tax status etc...Georgie was very patient through out this whole process and supported wherever she can to resolve any issues. The communication was very transparent and honest and we never felt pressured despite the very long delays. She went out of her way on many occasions and ensured we were always informed and satisfied. I would highly recommend Winkworth to anyone looking to sell or buy a property - you will not be disappointed. thanks again Georgie and best of luck

When looking for a suitable property to rent for our family Winkworth really did a great job. Katie was very pleasant to deal with throughout the initial process and was always happy to help and responded promptly to any queries we had. During our time at the property Sarah Lee really manage the property well, and was only happy to help if we had any issues. She even got us a a cheaper quotation for a cleaning team on checkout then I could get. Thank you Katie and Sarah!

This year has been a tricky year to sell our house but the support and advice we got from Winkworth Worcester Park, especially Kirstie and Georgie, made it so much easier, stress free and eventually successful. Honestly a great, hard working and supportive team.

Kirstie and her team were relentless in finding a buyer for us in the toughest of market conditions. The market had just dropped with demand falling, prices falling and landlords dropping out due to the new government changes to how much tax relief landlords could claim. We needed to move as soon as possible to fulfill our life plans and through relentlessly following up on their database Kirstie and her team pulled off the impossible. Kirstie kept me updated throughout the whole process as soon as anything meaningful happened and I can't thank her and her team enough. There is a reason why Winkworth are the biggest and take the most business. Thank you for making this happen.

I couldn’t recommend Winkworth Worcester park enough. We worked alongside Stephen Brand - who we had an excellent experience with. Stephen supported us through every stage of our buying process and was always easily contactable, with a very quick response time. As first time buyers, we really appreciated the time he took to explain things to us & he made the process accessible. We felt really confident in Stephen’s efforts and efficiency, and he was an excellent port of communication. We couldn’t recommend him, and Winkworth enough.

Winkworth's did not give me a copy of my contract at the time of signing and did not insert the VAT total figure onto the contract and whilst their agent agreed to waive the VAT and reduce the percentage commission (whilst trying to undercut another local agent), Mr Amner pursued me for the VAT after the sale had completed, waiting six weeks to do so. After threatening me with court action he agreed to engage with the Property Redress Service who stated that "The Agent did not make the client aware of the VAT" and awarded me compensation. However, Mr Amner would not abide by this decision and has continued to pursue me for the VAT payment. This has gone on for 7 months and caused considerable stress to my family. I would not recommend Winkworth at all, but if you are planning to use them, check their communication and contracts with a fine tooth comb and be aware that the franchisor (Mr Amner) has a reasonably threatening approach and will not abide by the PRS or Estate Agent Code of Conduct, who Winkworth claim to be monitored by.

I’m afraid I don’t accept this is a fair representation of events as there was no evidence whatsoever that we agreed to waive the VAT. This is because VAT can’t be waived as it is a tax applied by the government. Our contract stated very clearly that our fee was subject to VAT. However, our only mistake was that the employee you were dealing with failed to insert the total monetary figure including the VAT in a subsequent field on the contract. Ironically, many agents don’t even use this field within their contracts. Your use of language is also unhelpful. We didn’t try to ‘undercut’ another local agent but instead, negotiated a fee with you after you’d made it clear you wanted to use Winkworth rather than the other agent. You have misrepresented me again by saying ‘after threatening me with court action he agreed to engage the Property Redress Service, who stated ‘the agent did not make the client aware of the VAT and awarded you compensation’. This simply isn’t true. As you well know, it was my recommendation that you contacted the PRS right from the very outset and I said that I would abide by their decision. However, due to the nature of your complaint, they were unable to adjudicate on the matter specifically, but instead found that our employee had been remiss in not completing all fields of the contract, as they hadn’t completed the field where the actual monetary total including VAT should be inserted. It was for the resulting inconvenience that they awarded you a small sum by means of compensation. Given the fact our fee was subject to VAT was very clearly displayed in the contract, it was disappointed the magistrate ruled against us, especially as he decided to use as non-existent contract from the other agent as the benchmark from which to base his decision, in spite the fact you were unable to produce this contract, either physically or digitally. Throughout the entire dispute, you made many serious allegations relating to your experience and our service. However, using a combination of recorded phone calls and emails, all of these were proven to be totally unfounded and as a result, you dropped them from your formal complaint. It's also worth noting that immediately following the completion of your sale/purchase, you posted a very positive, 5 start review on Google in relation to the service we provided. This was before it became apparent that you hadn't paid the VAT on our invoice and we started proceedings. You have since deleted that review. Shaun Amner

Staff at this branch offered consistently excellent customer service throughout the period of our house purchase. As with all house purchases there were a number of challenges that arose, however the team here were very proactive and pragmatic in resolving them. They worked hard to get all parties and vendors involved closed as soon as possible, whilst also maintaining high professional standards
