GoogleWe have to admit we weren't familiar with Sears and were reluctant to change. But our property had been on the rental market for 3 months and Freddie was so tenacious we thought why not, maybe a change is what's needed. We have to say it was our best decision and Freddie was absolutely brilliant. Viewings took off and we were always kept informed. Freddie answered all our questions, was always polite and professional. We admire his tenacity and perseverance and are so pleased we now have a very suited tenant for the property. GoogleI didn’t know before why proper estate agents are better than the DIY options. Now I know - it’s all about the after sale support. Gabriella Jones was brilliant throughout the process, letting us know about progress and next steps as well as relentlessly chasing solicitors (without which they tend to do nothing). All in a super approachable manner, which is great for house buying/selling novices like ourselves. Thank you so much!

GoogleAs a renter it is somewhat difficult to access great services when moving. Our property was being sold by our landlord and we were a bit concerned about what was happening as it was with a different agency. Tim Hall from Sears regularly checked in with us and offered advice and helped bridge a gap in communication with our landlord. I can't thank Tim enough for the support he has given us in the last few weeks. Friendly, professional and a great guy! GoogleSelling and moving house can be very stressful and exhausting process I would like to say thanks to the Sears team for taking out a lot of burden and making this a smoother process. We were impressed when we went to view some houses in Bracknell with Sears, so we decided to contact them to see if they could sell our place. They have delivered on their promises. Sears sold our place in a timely manner with the asking price. They managed to get allot of people to view our property, but also the right people. We also received valuable feedback. Sears have really gone out of their way. They are new to Wokingham but really know the area. They attract people to view that will benefit from the property and see value in the area and property. We found them very approachable and honest. They know how to answer tricky questions intelligently and in honest manner. I would like to mention 2 people who really helped: Oliver Hewitt who oversaw the process: Oliver is Intelligent and level-headed; he is someone that you would want in the managing process of selling your house. He went out of his way to contact legal and other estate agents. Callum Nagle was very involved in the Sale & processing of the house. Callum is eager and professional; he doesn’t just show people around the house but also identifies the desires and how the house can meet these desires. He was always positive and will highlight the benefits of the house you are selling. We were in a chain 7 weeks into a sale and purchase when our buyer withdrew their offer - it was a devastating situation as we had found our dream home. I had been working with Sears for the purchase of our dream home and Oliver Hewitt was the first to call to see if they can help. And help they did! we were currently listed with another agency but needed to sell quickly so instructed Sears Wokingham on a Saturday morning - the property was listed within hours with first viewings being completed on the same day and to our delight the house was sold on the Monday by Callum Nagle following a successful viewing and negotiation. 60 hours from instruction to sale we are amazed and extremely grateful - Way to go Sears Wokingham cannot recommend you enough!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleI have been so impressed with the truly outstanding service I have received from the team in the Wokingham branch of Sears. I am really blown away by how fantastically proactive and supportive they have been. We only had our house on the market a week and this is the first time we are selling so we were somewhat nervous about the process but I have 100% confidence in the very experienced team who clearly are passionate about getting the best for us. Oliver Hewitt has been amazing he has been very communicative and given us really good feed back in viewings ; James Underwood has been great. He is really friendly, and approachable and he did a tremendous job on our behalf. Callum Nagle was also excellent when supporting us with the viewings. They know their customers' requirements very well which is the most important thing when recommending homes to Buyers and pricing strategy or changes to Sellers. We were on the market for sometime with no success with other agents and then we got Sears on board, they got results within a short period. We got sound advice and regular constructive feedback from them post viewings. A special mention to Tim Halls who was very courteous, proactive and professional in his approach. From the get go, Tim made me feel very comfortable and assured that I had come to the right place, and that they would do all they could to help me sell my property. I was extremely happy with how professional the photos looked, and how well advertised my property was. James dealt with my viewings, and kept me up to date after each one so I was in the loop, which I really appreciated. I was concerned how long other properties in my block had been on the market for, so was over the moon and relieved that within 2 weeks of my property being listed I had accepted an offer. GoogleOliver Hewitt and team at Sears did a great job in selling a property for me and it wasn’t an easy sale. Their motivation never faltered even as chains collapsed multiple times through no fault of their own. Having never had a good experience previously with an estate agent I was relieved to have chosen them. Not knowing the area well it was a bit of a gamble to select an agent but I’m happy I did go with them. They were always good with communication and had a good local market knowledge that is needed to maximise the sales potential of any property.

GoogleReally disappointing. Just had a very unpleasant phone call with a member of the Wokingham Sears team named Paul. I phoned to book a viewing at a house in Locksley Gardens and he was completely condescending and rude regarding my own selling situation, regardless of the fact we have an open house booked next week. Paul took my details but after deciding I would never purchase a house through Sears after the interaction, I asked him to remove my information. It’s a shame that a lovely house is being marketed by such an unfriendly agent.
Dear Miss Hanton, It with disappointment that your experience with Sears has not been a positive one. As per our conversation we take all complaints very seriously and as a company that prides itself on providing a warm and friendly service, I will personally investigate this matter. As discussed, the property in which you enquired about is a little more complicated than normal and is only taking proceedable buyers. I hope you can appreciate that it’s not our intentions to make things difficult, its just that our vendors have requested us to approach the sale of their property in a particular manner.
