Excellent help and support from Steve Chitty, Mark Porter and Nathan Poulter. Felt really secure in the knowledge that we had a team of very professional staff dealing with our issue. Particular Thanks for Nathan, who was always there to talk to and who always provided help support and advise at all times. Nathan showed a lot of patients and understanding of our issue and is a credit to Romans.

GoogleRight from the very start with initial viewings of properties to actually moving in the standard of services far exceeds that of other agents I have used before. David (Wokingham branch, lettings) goes beyond normal expectations to ensure a customer is looked after. Other agents could learn a thing or two about customer service. Outstanding, thank you.

Was considering transferring properties at Romans. Not after dealing with the manager Charlotte. Nasty and clearly has a vendetta. Tried politely serving notice for a contract that runs out in January after dealing with a poor experience from her. Being told I can’t leave even through my contract runs out in January. Wouldn’t even bother.

GoogleI recently registered with Romans to buy a house. Michael Robinson who I dealt with was absolutely fantastic, he took time to understand what I was looking for and always kept me informed of new properties that came available. Although I didn't buy through Romans in the end I would highly recommend them, especially if you are looking buy. Good experience!

Romans have let me down as a landlord and also my tenants. I needed to sell my rental property due to a change in my financial circumstances. I asked Romans to let my tenants know before they renewed for another year that I would sell after that year was up. This gave them over a year to find a new place which I thought was important as they have a small child. I told Romans if my tenants didn’t want to rent for another year I would just sell.Romans told me tenants were fine with this, wanted to renew but wanted a different contract with a different break structure. I agreed to this and suggested a one month notice for my tenants to give in case they found something, with me giving 3 months for their protection. I served notice on my tenants in Jan. I then spoke to them directly about the logistics for sale and found out Romans had not followed my wishes to let them know my plans. In fact, they had asked and the letting agent had told them I had no plans to sell. In addition Romans called my tenants to arrange end of tenancy checks before they even had notice issued - someone put it through the door a couple of hours later. I spoke to the lettings manager verbally in office and a week later via email with my concerns. To date I have no response so I’ve had to escalate further within Romans. Incredibly poor service which sadly has caused great stress. Funnily enough I am using a different Wokingham agent to sell my property who is restoring my faith and also being incredibly respectful to my tenants during this process.

Romans customer service is absolutely shocking. Communication is awful, they have not replied to my friends email regarding her deposit for a number of days despite this being sent to 4 different people and has been chased on numerous occasions. Her whole experience with his company has been disgraceful and they do not care about customers at all. This is not the first time I have heard of Romans providing an awful service and would not recommend them to anyone!
