I recently put my house on the market with Prospect Estate Agents in Warfield. Paul came to value my house on a Thursday and listed it for sale on Friday. By Tuesday I'd had 4 viewings, which resulted in a full asking price offer. All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. I was then contacted by Beth who was the person over seeing the sale, again, very helpful and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending Prospect.

I have always been impressed with Prospects services. Dani Smith has recently become my property manager and it is so nice to have someone managing my property who responds quickly to any queries and lets me know if the tenants have any problems. Recently a contractor gave quote for a call-out and as it was a little higher than usual, Dani called me first to check if it was still OK to proceed. I very much appreciated that as it shows great initiative !!

Prospect have been great in helping me purchase my first home. They were very prompt and helpful in arranging the viewings. They recommended their own partnered solicitors who were great at driving things forward. I did experience a period of delay after I submitted my offer as I went a while without being provided an update or being advised on any progress or next actions. That said, I was soon assigned a super pro-active transaction coordinator in Amie who was great at coordinating all the comms for all the parties and keeping me up to date. Calum, Cameron and Jordan from the Bracknell agents were all great as part of the process. Would highly recommend and will look to use Prospect again in the future.

Prospect have been managing my property for just under a year, and as I work in education I have been incredibly busy during the pandemic. We were assigned Dani Smith, who has been patient, yet relentlessly following up on enquiries due to my not responding to phone calls or emails on time! Dani has worked incredibly hard to organise both gas safety and EiCPs as well as the recent renewal. Dani has remained professional throughout and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

I moved in to my sheared house about 7 months ago at first I was worried due to never being on my help but the help with Prospect its made it so much easier for me.The one person that has stood out to me is beckie any problem we have she is always hot on her heels to help and get the problem solved :) we have been given a new set of cleaners after telling beckie the last were not good and in a matter of weeks she was able to get someon in for a deep clean and get new cleaning in that are so friendly and do amazing job. Im very grefully we have people like beckie to help us all out and make living in our homes a lot better

I moved into a house 2 weeks ago, managed by Prospect in Wokingham. I agreed with the "Client Manager " ( an oxymoron if ever there was one ) that certain tasks would be carried out prior to the move. On the day, I found that some had not been done, indeed, I had to do one of them myself. 2 weeks after moving in, I am still waiting for one to be carried out. The "Client Manager" is now arguing that I didn't ask for what we agreed on. The same person arranged for the house to be cleaned on the 24th, when I pointed out that we were moving in on the 20th !! He also did not advise the accounts department that the move-in date had been moved forward to the 20th, so I was asked to pay a deposit of X amount, which I paid, only to be told that I had underpaid and needed to pay more. I had not underpaid, I had paid the amount I had been asked for.Having moved in, hardly a day has now gone by when I haven't had to log at least 1 defect in the property, this morning, it was 3 !! Having discovered that there was no heating on a freezing February Sunday evening, I rang the emergency maintenance helpline ( another oxymoron ), and I was told that, as nobody in the house was vulnerable, it would have to wait until they opened at 09.00 the next day. A week later, at 05.00, water was dripping from the pipework in the ceiling and onto the floor in the living room. Again, I rang the "helpline", expecting an emergency plumber to be called, only to be told that I should turn the water off at the stopcock ( which, I discovered was seized solid !! ) and they would start dealing with it when they open at 09.00, FOUR hours later !! A major issue had now been discovered in the heating system and I now have to have the heating on 24 hours a day, as the leaks occur when the pipes cool down. Needless to say, the "service" I have received has been appalling. BTW, I know that Julie in maintenance is trying her best, but must be overwhelmed with all the maintenance issues I have had to raise. In my opinion, this rental should never have taken place with the house in this state and I feel I have been a "snagging" guinea pig for the last 2 weeks. If I could award Prospect, Wokingham negative stars, I would have done so.

I have been attached with Prospect Estate Agency for a year now, my account being handled by property manager Beckie Baxter and assistant property manager Dani Smith. I have just completed my rent agreement contract renewed for another year now and it's needless to say that I am extremely pleased with the promptness of both Beckie & Dani every single time regarding any query/ issue/ action raised and they have dealt it with utmost politeness at the same time. My experience with Prospect has been very positive so far. I have been using Prospect them to manage two of my properties. The entire team is great and very supportive. The process of managing my properties has been very smooth and have been updated the process throughout. The management charges are reasonable but any work quotes I receive from their contractors are more expensive compare to the market.My current Property Manager, Beckie Baxter, has been really great answering my queries immediately and always keep me update with the progress.

Avoid this scammers ( Agent Charlie)After the viewing Mr. Charlie called us if we liked the property and if we would like to put an offer on. So I told him we liked it but we only willing to take it if they repaint the walls, and because they repaint it we are willing to pay the price without negotiating. After 10 min Mr. Charlie calling us back that the landlord accepted our offer. During the reference check I asked him 2 times how is the painting going and if is going to be ready in time his answer was its only going to take 1 day. Today we want to get the keys for the property and surprise nothing was done. So I called the landlord finding out that he didn't even know about that my offer was that we taking the house only if is going to be repainted. So called Mr. Charlie ending up lying in my face. Its unbelievable some people what they are capable to do for a little commission. Also we find the house quite dirty. AVOID THIS AGENCY IF YOU CAN

I have recently completed a 4 a four and a half year tenancy; initially undertaken with Griffins and following a business change latterly with Prospect. I would like to recommend the team at Prospect for their competence, attentiveness, and service. In my particular case, I would like to make a special mention for Carla Munro, who I have dealt with throughout on all aspects of this tenancy. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, every detail was competently and confidently dealt with in a very friendly and professional manner, in fact easily and without worry or concern.

As a Landlord I have been with Prospect for over 3yrs and they manage two properties for me. Most recently they secured multiple clients within days of marketing my Apartment. The entire process - Negotiating my terms with them, agreeing an AST with the tenant, providing a check-in report and the Move-In process for the clients was faultless. People matter and the team at Wokingham, the Letting manager, his assistant and their move in clark, ooze professionalism but are also all about going the extra mile to make it happen. Terrible service as a renter. Firstly, we received terrible service from our key contact in the agency during our stay; whenever we tried to contact her we couldn't and so issues we had were never resolved.Secondly, when it came to check-out report, they created issues / problems that weren't there, to enable the landlord to keep the deposit. Due to this report, the landlord wanted to keep nearly 1/3 of our deposit after we had only stayed in the house for 6 months and left it in the exact condition we had found it. After negotiation, we got this down to next to nothing, showing that the issues weren't there in the first place!I would not recommend Prospect at all and I plan to avoid using them when I want to rent my next property in Reading.
