My experience with Prospect has been excellent to date. I currently have my apartment up for sale and so far the process has been managed really well. Grace in particular has been really good on all the house viewings, she's very considerate with people viewing our place and keeps me updated throughout including once the viewing has ended and feedback afterwards. My little boy has taken a shine to her so has affectionately called her 'Grace House Lady' and she's always so great with him!Although our apartment is still up for sale, with how I've been looked after my Prospect so far, I'm more than happy with the service and would recommend anyone to use for their sale/let/purchase.

We recently sold our house and bought through Prospect in Warfield. I cannot praise the staff there highly enough. They were all flexible, helpful and prompt. Our client manager, Beth, was exceptional. She was flexible in fitting her calls and e-mails into our working lives, gave regular updates about the process and her attitude and service was superb. She was approachable and friendly in all of our communications and it felt like she was personally invested in the success of the move. I would highly recommend using Prospect and would in the future if I could bear moving again!

When I visited the flat to look around, I was wearing a mask which meant I didn’t realise how dusty it was until I’d moved in. The surfaces were sticky, soft furnishings smelt musty and were covered in dust. The fridge had mould growing in it (not obvious until it was turned on and the smell gave it away) and the inside of the shower unit had mould all over it. Black mould came out of the shower head when turned to one of the other settings. The washing machine also had mould growing in it and I can’t get the mouldy smell out of it. When I complained about it, I was told that it has been ‘domestically cleaned’ and I just needed to leave it in the same state when I moved out (not sure how I’m expected to grow the mould back?!)Numerous things were broken: 2 of the taps on the bathroom had water pouring out of them (they weren’t when I visited the property). The balcony door didn’t open, the shower leaked and one of the cisterns was leaking into the toilet. The hob smoked when I turned it on and the switch for one of the extractor fans was missing.I moved in on a Saturday and tried to contact the Prospect maintenance department immediately to report the issues but no-one picked up. Again on the Monday, I couldn’t get through to anyone until I went into the offices and was given contact details of someone who, yep you guessed it, didn’t pick up. It wasn’t until the Wednesday that someone finally contacted me. When I complained, I was told that I would get a call from someone to discuss who rescheduled it over the course of 3 days and eventually stopped bothering.I’d never rent from Prospect again and am automatically discounting the idea of buying a flat that is marketed by them. AVOID.

We used prospect estate agency in Maidenhead to buy a property that we really loved. It was a pain for us to get hold of the seller, however the agents at their Maidenhead branch were very helpful and thorough in getting hold of the seller throughout the buying process until exchange of contracts. I would want to thank specially Ryan, Jordan and Betsy for all their help, support and professionalism in helping us complete the process and going above and beyond. We would definitely recommend them to our friends and family. Thank you again to all of you!

I need to renew the tenancy agreement as the completion of my new home was delayed. The period is only a couple of months. When I asked for help from Prospect, Sasha helped contact the landlord immediately and gave me constructive suggestion on adding a break clause so as to make it more flexible. When I raised up questions or requests, her reply is always prompt and reliable. She is very professional. Thank you.

GoogleProspect Letting Service [Feb 2021] As a Landlord I have been with Prospect for over 3yrs - they manage two properties for me. Most recently they secured multiple clients within days of marketing my Apartment. The entire process - Negotiating my terms with them, agreeing an AST with the tenant, providing a check-in report and the Move-In process for the clients was faultless. People matter and the team at Wokingham, the Letting manager, his assistant and their Move-in Clark, ooze professionalism but are also all about going the extra mile to make it happen. This makes the difference and this team is a true asset to Prospect and its reputation.

TrustpilotMost shocking company I've ever engaged with
I genuinely couldn't stress enough to stay away from this business. They ignored the landlady for 6 weeks over a very simple request under her fully managed lettings contract. The only way we eventually managed to get them to contact us was by 3 visits to their offices with complaints letters (during the lockdowns!). They then went through another series of failures with the day to day management responsibilities being inadequately fulfilled and their own policies ignored. Given the dissatisfaction, the landlady provided 3 months notice to terminate her contract and they keep offering discounts for future services suggesting she cannot terminate her contract unless the tenant is served notice to leave. Following this shock that a company would allow someone to be put out of their home in order to end a contract that has clearly been broken, the issue was escalated to head of lettings in Reading. After another 3 weeks of zero response despite multiple attempts to contact, the bullying tactics from Prospect continued. Saying that they could not terminate the contract unless the tenant was served notice, and more recently, out of the blue they said they would allow termination if a very significant fee was paid. There isn't anything in the contract to suggest a fee must be paid to terminate the contract and the loss of trust and faith in Prospect to manage a property has gone way beyond any stage of repair. As a result, the stress, worry and ill health as a result continues and this issue is being raised with the local MP to notify them of the types of organisations they have in their constituency. STAY AWAY FROM THESE BULLIES AND MONEY GRABBERS AT ALL COSTS.

I lived in a Prospects managed property for more than 2 years. The property management team are very friendly and approachable and picked up all my requests on priority. All the maintenance requests registered online and picked up on time ensured they all are fixed. I didn't feel anything different during the pandemic and they were always reachable on phone and email. I wanted to call out Carla Munro and Melissa Fisher who have been of great help throughout this tenancy.

I have had a very poor experience with these people. Extremely poor communications from Prospect at all stages of property rental. Their behaviour and their overall performance has been very disappointing. Avoid.
