Trustpilotlettings fees are very high
For lettings their fees are very expensive. First 3 months of my 450 rent studio flat they took and I did not get anything. When tenant leaves another month will be gone as inventory check is 180 and cleaning in 250 and this is for a studio flat. If i want to cancel the contract i have to pay 900. Stay away.

I have only great things to say about Hunters Middleton branch! From the very first phone call right up to exchanging contacts They have been beyond brilliant. I absolutely loved the pictures of my house and the write up most definitely did my house justice. My house sold within 4 days and I was over the moon with the price!Nicole was the shining star for me- she kept in daily contact and was the most reassuring and helpful person every single step of the process. She chased up people when they needed it ensuring the sale moved along at pace. Thank you so much Hunters but especially a massive thank you to Nicole- you have been amazingly!

To say we’re disappointed with the level of communication from the Horncastle Branch with Michael and Susan Noonan is an understatement and the level of service is a far cry from Michael's commitment to customer experience.Researching this branch shows multi-occasions that this activity has happened here.If you’re viewing a property with the intent to buy, don’t expect them to tell you if any other parties are interested. They’ll just pull it from under your feet along with any visions or excitement of a future you had in said house.Viewed a property two weeks ago, following the viewing we had a really positive conversation with Susan in the office expressing great interest, no more than a week later sold to another buyer with no communication. It would have been professional and courteous to reach out to the buyer but more so to the seller, as I’m certain they would like to have known of other interest. Susan and Michael took away any opportunity or chance to put in any offers, resulting in many wasted hours.I wouldn’t usually leave a review; but the tone in which Susan delivered the news was blunt, lacked any sort of empathy and very closed, to date I am still waiting for a reply to my email which I can only assume has been ignored.We will steer clear of this company for future sales and purchases, knowing that their priority doesn’t appear to be with either buyer or seller.Happy to receive a call or email to discuss our experience with you.

Hunters let the house adjacent to ours. There have been multiple pipe leaks around the bathroom causing flooding which in turn is causing damp smells on our side due to the length of time taken to address the issues. It's been repaired after four weeks now within hours water is currently coming through the ceiling next door soaking our party wall and they have told the tennant it's livable no problem.

Mid of August I telephoned Hunters Sunderland to view a property, giving them all requested details - a little while later they sent an email asking which property I meant (I had told them but if they wanted to clarify: why didn't they ask this when I phoned?).

GoogleI'd highly recommend the Hunter's Wokingham office if you're looking to sell your house. John Duffy was my main contact and he was excellent in every aspect. Great communication skills and very good customer service for myself, the viewers and agreed buyers of the property. I appreciated his regular contact, his enthusiasm and motivation. This was what was needed. The sale of my house went smoothly and was on time.

GoogleWe have been with Hunters now for a number of years now. Firstly for rental, and now for selling our house. I have nothing but the highest praise for both departments. Having already left a review on the rental team, this is on the sales. Hunters are like one big family, and right from the outset, they made me feel so comfortable with their mix of professionalism and engaging friendliness. It is nice not being just another customer, more part of their extended family. Whoever answers the phone when I call is always cheery and welcoming. I have been going through our sale process with Richard, during that time we have actually become friends even though we have never met. I know some will simply want the relationship to remain an Agent/Customer one which is fine, I am sure they can do that as well!! As far as the process goes, Richard kept me informed throughout, I do not ever remember having to chase him, any queries were dealt with promptly. I have never known another Estate Agency with the ethos towards their clientele as Hunters have, I cannot recommend them highly enough.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Awful. Incredibly disorganised. Would establish inspections and never turn up, would constantly email about overdue rent that wasn't overdue. Would pass the blame constantly. Attempted to raise my rent by a "reasonable" £200 a month six months into my tenancy which can only happen every 12 months and cannot be more than the CPI price index; they failed on both counts. Renting is honestly awful, and these clowns pray upon the anxiety of insecurity to get what they want.I have bought a house now, I wish all renters the luck to buy their own homes one day so we never have to deal with letting agents like these ever again.

I was really impressed with the valuer's sales pitch and genuinely believed they would be the best firm to sell my home. The fact they had a relationship with Ryan property law also played a part, although that turned out to be a disaster, but that's a review for another day.

We are in the process of buying a bungalow at the moment and the sales progression team told us the vendor had been to sort the electrics and service the boiler..previous tennants had apparently got in debt so electric was cut off..Hunters lied saying this would be sorted. A second viewing 2 weeks later and a wasted 120 mile journey confirmed nothing had been sorted. When we told them we were disappointed with them we were told to leave the property.

Hunters hung a "for sale" sign on our property, which was a surprise to us, since we were neither selling nor letting the property. When asked to take it down, four visible holes have been left in the wall of our home. It has been six and a half weeks, and the holes are still there. In a couple of weeks, we're going to need to escalate this to the ombudsman.

I would completely recommend avoiding this agency, they are slow to respond, have no information ready at hand and this has possibly been the most annoying process of purchasing a property with them. There was a lot of missing information that I was not provided and they basically only know how to respond when they need something. You will call them and they say they'll get back to you and just disappear. Avoid if possible.

Agent Harj was full of fake promises. Although he was all smiles and seemed friendly, the minute we left after our viewing he didn’t return texts or calls and shyed away from any contact. After several calls to the agents I finally managed to find out myself that the property had been given to someone else, rather than them calling me to inform me I had to dig this information out of them which was frustrating. Avoid!

I have been trying to contact them for 4 months in regards to my flat and contract but they are absolutely appalling at responses and making things clear and helpful for those they are letting to. They have sent me in so many different directions on who to contact and have stopped responding to me within one week of me first contacting them. On top of this it took them weeks to respond and report to maintenance issues, and when they did the response I got was rude and abrupt. As well as that they issues weren't resolved fully resulting in me feeling uneasy in what was meant to be my own space. Absolutely awful service and wouldn't even consider letting/renting from them again.

GoogleHunters really made by journey very smooth to a beautiful rented accommodation that I liked very much. I moved from Mexico to Bracknell, UK, because of the job change. I had to find a nice family house for my small family in three months as I was in an apartment given by my company. Eltjon was very supportive and he not only showed me the house but assured me that after few formalities I can rent the house. Their process was simple and the communication was fantastic. I got my keys in time and lived for a year comfortably. In case of any issues, Eltjon and the team was very helpful and they took care of every small thing. GoogleWhen I exited London, I had but a short time to find a suitable property. Having dealt with lots of agents over the years, Hunters are the estate agency model ‘others’ should adopt. Professional, proactive and willing to go the extra mile with an astounding attention to detail that matters. Special mention to Abi, Max and Gill. Forget the usual incentivised £££ hard lined approach, this company truly offers a fine tuned, personal and relaxing approach to finding a new home. GoogleI can't recommend Hunters enough, Max had gone above and beyond whatever was asked of him even came around at a weekend in his own time if I had questions requiring an answer. Hunters did more in selling my home than any other agent in the area and did it in less than two months of being on the market unlike other agents who had taken over a year to achieve a sale at a price I was happy with. Max has been very supportive offering help and advice throughout selling my home so a big thank you to him and all at Hunters. A perfect example of how an Estate Agent should operate.I'd definitely use them again although now living in Andover. Thanks again so much for everything Max you are a star.
