TrustpilotNot professional
What to say, utterly unprofessional estate agent. Some properties are for sale in ivyhouse road that we like to view, seen it in Zoopla. And was told that property is sold couple of weeks ago, off hand. I am sure as an agent they have access to the account and very easy to put it STC, rather than making people running around.

GoogleRichard Fincham from Hunters Wokingham was extremely responsive and met us the same day we asked him to sell our flat, He suggested a sale price that should attract offers and the next day he found a buyer who proceeded through to Completion. Throughout the legal processes he maintained contact with both sides and kept us fully informed on the status. We are very pleased with his service and would recommend him to anyone.

TrustpilotFantastic efficient friendly service
I have just recently moved out of a property that Hunters in Baldock were managing I can’t believe in the difficult times with the pandemic how absolutely professional and efficient they have been. Both Claire and Chloe were brilliant. Supported me through the exit all the way, made sure the deposit was quickly paid back quickly and fairly, at no point did I feel money was being held unnecessarily.I would definitely recommend them to anyone thinking of letting their home

GoogleWe were showed around a property by Matt on Saturday and although it isn’t a property we proceeded with I must highlight his level of professionalism and how enthusiastic and personable he was - it was very refreshing. Hunter’s generally were great in organising the viewings and keeping on top of communication and I would recommend them highly.

GoogleWe bought a house recently that was marketed by Hunters and wanted to say how amazing Richard was. He was always on hand to ask any questions and worked well with the other estate agents and his client to keep the process moving forward quickly. He also checked in with us after to move to make sure we were all settled. A really nice, straight forward experience and service with a smile :)

GoogleI would like to use this forum to give a big SHOUT OUT to Richard Fincham from Hunters Estate Agency. For a year we have been struggling to sell a house (the previous agency didn't do more than sign the contract and wait for commission), but thanks to Richard's professional approach we finally managed to finish the transaction. He went above and beyond to help us through the whole process.
If you are looking for a professional estate agency with personal touch no look further as Hunters Estate Agency is the one. The whole team deserves a big shout out.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleWell what can I say! From the outset Richard was the most friendly, interesting and extremely knowledgeable guy. He obviously enjoys his job and communicates in a totally respectful way. He was such a joy to have selling our property in which he had many hurdles to cross. He did so with professionalism and nothing was too much trouble for him always listening to us and keeping us positive and informed.
He and Eltjon were very excited about our property and shared our love for it. We had worked so hard on making it the home of our dreams. Having had a choice of Agents around to sell our property I know hand on heart we picked the very best and that showed when after multiple communications with other parties we exchanged having been offered the full asking price.
Eltjon did a superb job of the photos putting together a truly beautiful portfolio of our property and I will keep it as a wonderful memory of our home. Thank you to you all at Hunters.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Trustpilotavoid them, they don't care about tenants
Unfortunately, estate agents usually have exclusive rights on properties and if you find a property you really like, you will have to go through them whether you like it or not. It's also likely that you will only see this review when you have already had problems with Hunters, but just in case this helps anyone, here's my recommendation: avoid them entirely, find another property you like if they are managing it exclusively. After I ended my tenancy, they kept me waiting for weeks and weeks without any kind of information. I could've waited to receive the money of the deposit, but I couldn't accept is the complete neglect and lack of updates they put me through. They didn't return calls (when i called they were always busy) and never answered emails. After trying to contact them again and again, they only decided to do something when I said I would take them to the small claims court if necesary, Even with that, they did reply but with lots of nonsensical excuses. After I got my money I found out that the landlord, unlike me, had been in the loop for everything.I wasn't even notified about the meter readings taken on check-out day by the clerk so that I could close my accounts. Why was I treated so differently? Well, simple, they don't care about tenants, only landlords, because they are the ones giving them their cut, not us.Also, the agents were the ones holding my deposit, so the later the better for them. They were clearly not in a rush to return my deposit.Absolutely unprofessional behaviour from a big estate agent that has offices in multiple places. This is a money-making machine with no consideration for tenants.

Nicole Coombes at Hunters estate agents, Middleton; has helped me and my partner (first time buyers and we had no clue about the processes of purchasing a property) she talked and helped us through step by step and made each step clear and understandable. she also did this with such a warm, friendly and professional manner plus she was so patient with me throughout. i would certainly recommend hunters and certainly Nicole Coombes was just fablous with us. we now, thanks to nicole at hunters, moved into out first, soon to be family home

TrustpilotCooling off period contract disparity…
Cooling off period contract disparity with hunters. We signed up to sell our property then changed our minds over the weekend as we are entitled to do under the 14 day cooling off period. There is a clause in the contract which contradicts this entitlement so be warned if you change your mind. The measure of any company is how they react! In our case, demand for payment and threat of debt collection when no work had been done. Be warned my fellow house moversThe sooner estate agents are regulated, the better for all concerned!!! TrustpilotSave yourself the hassle and don’t bother!
Save yourself the hassle and don’t bother. From the moment we met Justin at Hunters, I should’ve sensed that something was wrong. He was full of the miracles he was going to work, how he would sell our house in days, not weeks or months. We fell for his lip service, telling ourselves it was enthusiasm, and listed with them.We thankfully negotiated to not pay the £165 he was asking for up front for “professional” photographs. This was one of our better decisions - the photos were less than ideal. I had to ask Hunters to re-edit them and turn down the saturation as all of the oak wood throughout our home looked bright orange! The photographer was from an external company and was also an arrogant piece of work. After a week or so on the market had passed with zero communication from Hunters, I called them to ask for an update. I was met with very little response and that they were not sure why there had been no interest (remember how I said Justin would sell it in “days, not weeks”...).I let another week pass to the same tune, no communication. I called again and their response was “let’s rejig the order of the photos on Rightmove”. Still nothing, and still no more communication. Our house is in a desirable area and is immaculately presented, so at this point I’m failing to see what the issue is. I’m asking Hunters who also have no idea. However the most worrying part was when I asked what their next steps were... blank. Nothing. No idea.Katy came out to see the house, supposedly so she could speak about it with first-hand experience to interested parties. I explained on her visit that I would like regular communication regarding the plan and next steps. I should point out that in my line of work I have to manage several projects at once and I often have to update stakeholders on progress. If progress is delayed, I am expected to reason out why and think of next steps - this is simply what I was asking Hunters to do.COMMUNICATE.After 5 weeks, we had whispers of a viewing. So I handed over the keys as we weren’t going to be around. I expressly stated that viewers are to either remove their footwear or wear shoe covers upon entering. I reiterated this as it had already been said on four separate occasions to two members of the team.I returned home to boot prints on my carpets. I have white carpets in my bedrooms.I turned on my CCTV which allows me to see into my porch way - no shoes were removed, and no covers applied. Absolute basic request, and disrespectfully not followed.I looked over the rest of the viewing, granted only from the outside of the property and also noticed an incredibly stupid move; When we left before the viewing, we put the bins out at the top of the drive. After collection, some ‘helpful’ individual decided to move the bins more into the drive where they were blocking the pathway down, sat just above some steps and right next to my car.Charlotte from Hunters arrived to do the viewing; She squeezed herself between the bins/car to go open up. She then squeezed herself back through to go wait for the viewer at the top of the drive. They arrive, and they all squeeze themselves past again. WHY NOT MOVE THE BINS?!?! What a brilliant first impression to make! Honestly, basic lack of intelligence shown at this point. After we came home and saw this, I asked for our keys back. Three days later and they’re not posted back through the door. There were whispers of another viewing but by this point I’d absolutely had enough of Hunters lack of professionalism, respect and communication. Basic things that they’re failing on.I terminated the contract (14 days notice negotiated, don’t let them fob you off with more) and went with another agent!Oh - and then they respond to your review to call you a liar. Real smooth.

TrustpilotUseless from day 1.
Useless as an agent. They do not even know their own contracts. As a tenant I was left out to dry. They did not want to know when I had an issue. I was basically told to pay for what I had signed up for. Although the contract I had signed had a get out clause that I was having to quote to them to get them to talk to myself. All via email. Absolutely useless and contact was slow and usually at the end of a working day so as I couldn't get a follow up response till at least the next day or longer. I ended being told to shut up and put up in not so many words. Pay what you owe. Which was never an issue I just wanted out! They struggled to deal with the scenario and even when they did act upon my instructions it was very labored. The manageress was no better than the person in charge of the letting. I had to put her straight a few times and quote her own mistakes. Constant battle to get them to take action with the landlord or reply to myself.after being forced £580 to pay for a service that they had on file was a joke. I asked for the full works if I was having to pay for it. Photos etc. But the refused to come and take them. I'm not saying they robbed me, I'm telling you! I seriously doubt that the landlord was paying that sort of money for that service every time they required a new tenant. Finally after paying a lot of money for a house I never touched they managed to get some other poor soul to rent the property. If you are a landlord. It's not all about the money. Stop being horrible people and make nice house for people to make into homes. If the property you let out is a mess than people will not rent it unless they are desperate like myself at the time. Would you live in it!!???
