I used Hunters to sell my property in Wokingham. Eddie came well prepared to meet me and talk through the correct pricing strategy to ensure I was happy and that the property attracted enough interest. The property sold STC in under a week. The team went out of their way to ensure good photography and the marketing was prepared without delay. Good service, Eddie is extremely professional and knowledgeable with excellent communication all round, and I would happily recommend and use again.

I would highly recommend Hunters, Wokingham. Eddie has been looking after our sale and he has been enthusiastic, professional, and he responds promptly to any enquiries. He managed to sell our property extremely quickly which we were delighted about. The fee is very competitive and the level of service and the marketing materials (photos, drone imagery, 360 tour, floor plan etc.) produced for our property were of the highest quality. We would happily use Hunters, Wokingham again.

This company doesn't seem to care…

This company doesn't seem to care either about their prospective customers or their existing landlords. I have an outstanding issue with their poor tenant management at a property that they have let for a number of years and their failure to recover documented damage after the tenant vacated the property. Nobody is answering my emails. The owner has notified his landlords that yet another staff member has left the company, they are notorious for being unable to retain staff. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I would highly recommend Hunters in wokingham. Especially Mr John Duffy. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He isn't like most estate agents that take days to come back to you, he responds almost instantly, in actual fact he is the complete opposite, he was the one chasing us and our solicitor, making sure we had completed everything we needed. Even if he doesn't have the answer right away he will still communicate and do his best to get you that answer ASAP. We had alot of issues with selling our house with a buyers dropping out but he managed to get it sold almost instantly 3 times! He seriously went above and beyond to make sure we sold our property so we didnt lose the house we fell in love with! I gave him a hard time a couple of times (not about anything he had done) and not ever once did he become unprofessional, he was very understanding with our frustrations, reassured us and got us exchanged and completed! Thank you John we appreciate you.

I was really impressed with the valuer's sales pitch and genuinely believed they would be the best firm to sell my home. The fact they had a relationship with Ryan property law also played a part, although that turned out to be a disaster, but that's a review for another day. Experience of sales team - Georgia is so lovely and was a pleasure to work with. However, even after a week, the sole promotion strategy was pushing me to lower the price, which I eventually caved into and feel like I would have got more money had I gone with an approach suggested by a different agent. I had over 30 viewings, which was exhausting preparing the house for. Most of these were time wasting - one definitely a pseudonym (why don't they ask for ID checks?) and at least 10 weren't actually people who were in a position to buy (not got house on market or it would turn out they'd offered elsewhere). The buyers buyer (also buying through Hunters), was not vetted correctly or there was a big cover up. If there was a cover up, Hunters couldn't tell me, because they had such poor record keeping. I was sent evidence of some record keeping with regards to something else (hello GDPR breach!) and it was full of typos and omissions. Sales progression experience was horrific. Thankfully they eventually replaced the person, as I could go on and on with my list of what she did that was totally unprofessional, but worst bit is she could have put my children at risk if it had been a DV situation, as she told everyone in the chain my new address and all the addresses of everyone in the chain, repeatedly. I repeatedly complained about her and they left it far too late to do anything. Absolutely appalling and this estate agent caused so much additional stress to what was already a horrific chain. I would not recommend to anyone.

We had full confidence in them to provide an excellent service at all times. Follow up on June 10th 2026 A long drawn out process to sell this apartment but John Duffy was brilliant throughout encouraging patience and fortitude. Always kept us informed through the process and helped follow up when things progressed slowly at the bottom of the chain.

John our agent sold our flat in Wokingham town centre and we were very pleased with his diligence, sales and enthusiasm. He was our point of contact all the way through with the transaction which makes it easier than speaking to different people in the agency each time. We tried to sell with a previous agent and the sale fell through and John was conscious of that and made sure it didn’t happen again. We managed to complete this time with a good buyer which made the process go smoothly. Very happy with the service and would definitely use again.

Dreadful Experience

We booked valuation. Confirmed twice no show. She eventually came late at night & we fell for the speel. Big mistake just full of empty promises. No response to phone calls or emails. 17 days before first viewing. Buyers were not vetted as we were told. Some hadn't even got their house on the market. It was a truly horrible experience. Finally got a offer £30,000 below asking price! THEN I had an long email telling me we should take it ! They are beyond rubbish. They take on too many clients & cannot give you the time. They don't even ask if appointment is convenient to you. One word ....Jokers Two words....Avoid Avoid If I could give zero stars I would

I am using Hunter’s in Wokingham to sell my father’s house. Eddie Davies is looking after the sale and I must say, I am very impressed. Recently sold our property in Wokingham through Hunters and went through many aborted exchanges with a difficult buyer. There were some communication issues throughout the process, but without an above and beyond effort by Eddie Davies, I'm convinced we would not have completed at all. Eddie came across at all times as a professional, customer focused and dilligent agent from first meeting to our completion. He handled communications with the buyer and their solicitors, which were often quite difficult and ensured they knew what we were prepared to do to get the sale through and more importantly what we were not. Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

In the past I was trying to buy a flat and he was wonderful so I decided to make him sell my husbands house in burghfield - he helped us out when our purchase fell through & is helping our new house complete.
