I could not recommend Finders Keepers more strongly.I bought my house in Woodstock in February this year. The process turned out to be fraught, as the building survey missed a couple of significant issues which affected the neighbours also, whose house is also let out by FK. I can't express how supportive Sally was during this whole period, always responding quickly to every query, always calm and reassuring. She recommended the builder who refurbished the house, and he was the one who spotted structural issues the surveyor failed to. Sally has been consistently involved with the building process, liaising with the builder and helping me through this (especially important as i'm based in London for the next couple of years). Sally puts in a lot of effort and time, is detail oriented and efficient, and she ensured that the house was in tip top shape for the tenants. I've had a little contact with Paul who I've also found to be very professional and understanding. All in all, I would say that Sally has gone the extra mile for me and beyond and I'm very grateful. I have found her to be impeccably professional, as well as being immensely understanding, supportive and helpful on a personal level. We recently had the pleasure of dealing with Finders Keepers when relocating to the Oxfordshire countryside. Rob at Finders Keepers made the process very easy, he was very responsive in our interactions and dealt with any enquiries we had promptly. We have been in the property for six months now, fantastic building with lovely neighbours and grounds. Nothing worthy of a complaint in the property. On occasion that a repair was required, Rob was quick to respond and send tradesman to take a look, who arrived quickly and were great to deal with. Overall a stress-free experience. We have been using Finders Keepers to rent out and manage our property for the past 5 years. From the initial handling of the letting to the tenancy details to the managing of issues from the tenants side, it has been an excellent experience dealing with the staff at Finders Keepers. They have always communicated well and handled issues pro-actively while also taking the initiative in many areas which we appreciate as we are out of the country. We would like to extend our appreciation to the following two staff members who have been very helpful, courteous and professional in all our dealings : Rob Tupman (Property Department Manager). Rob always keeps us informed about all aspects of the property and is quick to resolve any issues that arise from the tenants side. Collette Lally (Senior Letting Specialist). Collette has been very helpful in arranging the letting details for our property and instrumental in finding new tenants, particularly in one case when a set of tenants broke the lease unexpectedly. We arrived in January 2020 to the UK and the Finders Keepers team in Witney were able to make our life easier by finding as house quickly. We were shown houses with the characteristics that we needed for a family. The lettings team, Collette and Barbara are very helpful For us the most important thing is that they provide solutions ASAP, they also give good advice whenever we have a problem. Our Property Manager, Sally is very quick to reply to any email or call. I have recommended FK 3 times and everyone has been happy so far. Is this Victorian Britain in the Industrial Revolution?

So bad … I wish I had read these reviews prior to renting through this company. The house we rented was really expensive over 2k. It was terrible the roof leaked, mouldy windows, stunk of cigarettes, dangerous oven which was a fire risk, found a razer and metal tools all over the mud pit garden, unusable conservatory due to leak, toilets were disgusting, central heating oil tank leaking !!!! … so we moved in I cleaned it up and complained about the issues above all of which were ignored except the oven after I paid an electrician to make an assessment and the oil tank as it was an environmental hazard !!! Now after all that we have moved out and they are keeping our deposit !!! This company takes advantage of people and should be made accountable… do not use

Finders Keepers have been amazing from start to finish! We’ve lived in our little flat for nearly 2 years and in that time we have had no issues at all. Sally has been wonderful, keeping us up to date and well informed of any necessary maintenance work etc. All house inspections have been conducted fairly with ample notice given, as we’re the house viewings. We would not hesitate to rent through Finders Keepers in the future!

In response to your reply, I wanted to reinforce that my family member did not "shout" on the phone. While he was on the phone there were witnesses to the call who all stated he simply questioned her morals in a very calm manner. I am appalled that he is being accused of this. Whilst on the call, the manager was backtracking and changing her story, stating that we were not told that we had to put a deposit down before viewing the property. Also, I would like to mention that I did not have one property on my shortlist, I had 5 and by the time I got in they were gone.

A frustrating and stressful experience

Queuing all night just for the chance to book a viewing already sets a stressful tone, especially for students balancing multiple responsibilities. When the time finally came to reach the front of the line, they were told there was only one property left for their group number and that they had to pay a week’s rent as a holding fee, without even seeing the place first. The claim that properties were disappearing fast seemed like a pressure tactic designed to make renters act impulsively.

The fact that for a university…

The fact that for a university accommodation it is made first come first serve is ridiculous. You have instilled such a fear in students of potentially being homeless they are waiting outside all night in the freezing cold in late November. It is insane that you have made people wait outside waiting for it to be open and have it in person when other companies wouldn’t even risk it. I saw people who have been sick while waiting because they are trying to keep warm and it isn’t keeping them safe. Theres no worry for peoples health and peoples safety. Very disappointing.

I liked one of their listings on a property platform and contacted them for more information on it and specifically whether the landlords would accept pets. I was told they will get back to me shortly and they did in less than an hour which was great given that other agencies never came back to me on such queries. The communication was brillian and the agents were very helpful and friendly.
