Having bought my house through Alexander & Co Winslow (then Ella Homes) and after receiving excellent customer service, I decided to use them to sell and was thrilled to see familiar faces when doing so. Mark, Bob and Rachel were extremely helpful and personable from start to completion and having Jill's (after sales) support through the entire process made it so much easier and stress free. The team showed great enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism and as I client I felt appreciated and respected. Selling a house in a pandemic and after a bereavement turned out to be very stressful, but I’m glad I chose Ella as my agents. Out of the 2 estate agency’s in the town I found them to be a lot less stressful to deal with than the other agents who were agents for house I was buying. They found me a buyer quite quickly it went as smooth as it could with all the added extras of viewings and masks etc. The last couple of weeks when we were about to exchange contracts for about 4 days running Jill kept me informed of all delays and why. I’ve just sold my house with Alexander and co, mine was a bit unusual as I’m buying a new build and it won’t be ready till early next year. I first met Bob who came round to discuss about putting my house on the market he was so friendly and professional and talked me though every step as I’ve never sold a house before, then I spoke to Jill who I feel went above and beyond for my Exchange as it was a little bit tricky, she made fell at ease and was always at the end of the phone whenever I needed her help, and Mark who talked me though all of the complicated emails and would help in any way he could. We had viewings almost straight away and he found a buyer within 2 weeks. Bob also managed to get a really good price compared to what two other local agents had suggested which I was very pleased with. We could not be happier with the service Mark Ayres and his team at Ella have provided in selling our home recently. All are very professional and prompt in responding to queries and providing feedback on viewings. When we got to contract stage Mark went above and beyond expectations. The role of an estate agent to get a transaction over the line shouldn’t be underestimated for they are in the unique position of being in contact with both buyer and seller and also their conveyancing teams. I have dealt with Ella on many occasions. Selling and buying and they also managed my rental property. The service is outstanding, nothing is too much trouble. When I had a tenant that wasn’t paying they were extremely helpful with very good advice. They liaised with my tenant and the problem was sorted.
