Our purchase of a property in Winslow through Alexander & Co was a positive experience - and Madelaine Thompson, who accompanied us for most of the journey, was always bright, positive and helpful. Others in the team stepped in when Madelaine was not available, and maintained the positive experience for us. The agent, of course, works for the vendor - but Alexander & Co had the purchaser's interests clearly in focus, and did their best to smooth over issues when they arose during the process.

We had a fabulous experience with Alexander and Co Winslow. Both when we bought our house in 2023, to selling it with them in 2025. They took over the sale in the summer, after having listed with 2 other agents in the previous 6 months. Viewings came in thick and fast, and so did the support from the team. Lottie and Rachael especially. Helen, is also great! She handles everything after the offer is accepted. As sellers you are constantly kept in the loop with the progress. Helen provides 2 weekly updates. Lottie is great at managing all your enquiries, and is always available for a chat or a visit to the home. Rachael is fabulous at viewings and getting the right people through the door. We can’t thank the team enough for what they’ve done.

We have just completed the sale of our dear Uncles bungalow. Choosing from 3 estate agents who were asked to provide probate evaluations was easy - Lotti from Alexander & Co was the only one who acknowledged our loss. Our correct choice was supported by the professional & efficient support experienced prior to the sale stc. We had a great experience using Alexander & Co for the purchase of our new home and the sale of our previous home. All staff were kind and professional throughout the process. Charlotte was particularly warm and helpful when putting our house on the market. We were kept up to date with how many views the house was getting etc and Charlotte communicated well when we had viewings booked in. Helen was very supportive throughout the sale of our house, she called frequently and helped to chase solicitors when needed. A very warm, friendly, professional and efficient estate agents to use. We would recommend them to anyone selling.

We have used A&Co in Winslow for 2 purchases and 2 rentals so have dealt with the selling team and the Rental side. On all occasions we have used this company rather than others in the area as it is very convenient to pop in and talk face to face so there is no confusion. I have dealt with Mark Terry Graham Rachael Charlotte and Elaine. They all know me and I have had an excellent service and Elaine on the rental side has gone over and above helping me sort out my Dads and my rentals and got me through the mine field. If I could give 6 stars I would.

Our experience with A&Co wasn’t great overall and some of the customer service was the worst I have experienced. Felt like the need for the sale was put ahead of the best situation for us as sellers. One particular agent, don’t think it’s worth giving names, wrote an email that was so strongly written, it was quite insulting and hard to believe it was to a client. Same agent can be very frosty in person and even refuse to talk to you.

BOB IS ABSOLUTLY UNTRUSTWORTHY!!! Please read the other one star reviews, Bobs has been mentioned a good few times for screwing people over to put some extra cash in his pocket! So we put an offer in with Bob on a house we really liked, we were ready to get the ball rolling on purchasing the house. We had a few minor hick ups but we had a buyer waiting and we were waiting to buy. After a week or so of thinking that we were buying the house we wanted we called Bob to touch base and see what was happening. In which he told us we couldn’t have the house as he’s sold to some one else 4 days prior to us calling. Didn’t bother to let us know. Someone else had put a better offer in and that’s fine. I understand how it works. But Bob decided not to let us know as clearly we were no longer of any value to his work and so we were swept under the rug. Bob is clearly part of the reason that there is a reputation around estate agents and how they are often portrayed as untrustworthy. A few days after this review was posted. Some matey from Alexander and co called me and tried to bribe me with gift vouchers, flowers and wine to remove it. I refused to remove this review and then they kept asking me what they can do to have this removed!!! I had to hang up the phone as he was starting to become a nuisance asking me the same question over and over and would t accept my answer We told you when our first buyer pulled out, and we called you on the same day, within four hours to inform you that we had accepted another offer and we were okay to continue. Bob who clearly is at fault for doing some kind of deal with his mate who was in fact the owner of the property we wanted to buy and pulled a fast one on us and got a few extra quid in his pocket. BOB IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED, seems the type of bloke to scam the elderly!

Awful experience, I have had mould in my flat now for 4 months. When ever it is cleaned it reappears in a week. Reported multiple times still no progress. The damp has caused my extractor fan and lights in the bathroom to fail ( over a month ago) The only Solution paint the ceiling in the bathroom... Was done a week ago and we have mould again. Always look for a quick fix not the root cause. Avoid if you want real service and to get the standard you pay for Attached is one photo from every room in the flat

We purchased our property through Alexander & Co; and I have to say I was very impressed with the service we received. Not only was the team friendly and helpful; I was surprised on how much communication we had received from Alexander and Co about the progress of our purchase. Our previous experience with other estate agents had not been so pleasent; & normally we would have to chase the estate agents for an update. Initially we had dealt with Rachael Briggs; who set up out appointment with the sellers at the time for us to view the property. Initially they had reached there quota for the day but after a conversation with rachael explaining how much we liked the house, she managed to get us in to see the property, which we were so grateful for. And of course we placed our offer! At this point we were then handed to Bob Jones who explained it was 'best and final' offers only; as so many people were interested in the property. Once we had been told our offer had been accepted; Bob talked us through what was needed for us to move forward. With the support of Bob we found the process to be a lot less stressful due to the regular communication we had received from him. This we found made a massive difference to our experience of buying a property; especially when we had found our forever home. I would whole heartedly recommend Alexander and Co; for the personal and friendly service that we received and would like to thank them all for making everything as stress free as possible. Exceptional service. Alexander & Co Winslow were our buyer's estate agent, but they went above and beyond for us too. Communication was second to none. Even when there weren't any updates within the chain they'd send a courtesy email detailing this. Special shout out to Jill. She works remarkably hard in her role and is a real asset to the company.
